We had a quiet, comfortable stay. The bed was comfy, the central air functional, and there was hardly any street noise. The Wifi was strong as well. This location is close to grocery stores and a few restaurants, and a short drive from Penn State.

Susan’s place was absolutely wonderful. I’ve always dreamed of staying somewhere peaceful and secluded—and this cabin delivered exactly that. The view was spectacular, and even though the weather wasn’t fully on our side (a mix of rain and strong winds during our two-day stay), the beauty and serenity of the place still made it a memorable trip for my daughter and me. What truly stood out was how accurate the listing was—what you see is exactly what you get. As someone who’s stayed in several Airbnbs, I really appreciated that there were no surprises. The home was just as described, and Susan was incredibly responsive and thoughtful throughout. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful space with us! We left feeling refreshed and grateful 🙏🙂

Repeat visit to Pat’s Place. Great spot in a residential neighborhood. The space is very roomy and is very well stocked if you wish to prepare food. Beds are very comfortable. Coffee, cocoa, and tea provided. TV is modern and there is one in each bedroom if you want some privacy or can’t agree on what to watch😀. I travel to this area of PA a few times a year and will try to stay here when I do! Best review is that I would definitely return to Pat’s Place again.

A great stay just outside of State College! My family and I had no trouble getting in and out of State college from the home, so location was key. The amenities were all excellent and well-thought out, from the toiletries to the ingredients in the kitchen. You will hear traffic from the highway so light sleepers, pack your earplugs. We would definitely consider staying here next time we come out to Happy Valley; days later, my daughter still mentions how she misses the “Hot Tub House!”

We have stayed here twice and love how close to PSU it is. Quiet, clean and all the amenities you need including a real drip coffee maker, snacks, and nice towels and sheets. I love the real cotton sheets and quality bedding when so many other places use microfiber, a small detail that is super important to me. We will be staying here anytime we visit State College!

Very clean & comfortable. We arrived late after a busy day and were only staying one night, but it was perfect for us and a great night's sleep. Checkout instructions were very simple and made for an easy morning. Obvious that the hosts want their guests to have a very pleasant experience.

The place was perfect for us. There were 5 of us here for a Penn state/ Michigan state baseball weekend. The townhouse was 2-3 miles from the stadium. The place was clean and provided all the things we needed for the weekend. Michael also went the extra mile and supplied us with snacks and fruit for us on our arrival. I will definitely try and stay here again

The house was easy to find, spacious and clean. Instructions for check in and check out were clear and easy to follow. We only spent one night there, so we didn't get to see too much of the area. We did however get to go to Shy Bear Brewing and Easter End Coffee Co. We enjoyed both places and in town we enjoyed seeing the different painted goose statues.

A kitchen space features dark cabinetry complemented by granite countertops. Stainless steel appliances, including a refrigerator and oven, are visible. Natural light pours in from a window above the sink, illuminating the adjacent dining area with a table and chairs.
