Monthly Rentals in Starved Rock Lock

We were looking for a place with workspace near Starved Rock to have a little planning retreat — this was great and checked all the boxes.

What a great place to stay! We came down from Chicago to hike at Starved Rock, which was a short and easy drive away from this house. The place was clean and so cozy, especially with all the Christmas decorations and the electric fireplace. With a recent dusting of snow, the surrounding farmland provided us with a scenic retreat from the city. Our baby girl enjoyed watching the goats and puppies out the window. There was room enough in the smaller bedroom to set up our pack n play for her, and the house overall felt spacious to us - a nice place for us to hang out while she took her frequent naps. We would love to stay here again next time we’re in the area!

Beautiful studio apartment in the heart of Utica. Gas fireplace, comfy bed, nice bathroom, and romantic ambiance. Wineries, bars, and shopping at your doorstep. Starved rock 8 minute drive away. If you’d like an updated and beautiful place to stay with your loved one, this is it! ♥️

Suzie's Bungalow on Vine was a welcome destination after our 17 hour drive back to Illinois. The porch light was on as promised with added subtle lighting from within. We already had our entry pin, which I personally chose. Suzie was very responsive throughout our drive. The bungalow was very easy to find. We explored our cozy home away from home upon arrival, found everything we could possibly need, flipped coins for 2 equally comfortable bedrooms, and slept soundly through the night. In the morning we had time for coffee (on the house) and the baked goods we brought along. We exchanged pictures we had taken the week before, before heading to Starved Rock to meet family for their Thanksgiving Brunch. It was wonderfully convenient to have a nice place to stay just minutes from our destination. Thank you Suzie
