Guesthouse vacation rentals in Stann Creek District

We stayed here as our first stop in Belize. I kept saying “this will end up being our favorite place on our trip and we’ll regret leaving”. We’re in Placencia now, our 2nd stop and we already miss our Hopkins spot on the beach. Airbnb “upsold” us to our room downstairs with two beds from the upstairs unit with a sea view which I wish I didn’t accept as our room. I was traveling with a child and someone who sleeps later than me so a view, place to sit and watch/listen to the waves is ideal. You can hear the bar’s music/ karaoke at night but it wasn’t obnoxious. Beds were very firm to us but after the first night I slept great. Secure, clean, well equipped on a beautiful beach! Everything about our stay in Hopkins was comfortable and friendly. Definitely would stay here again.

Angel was responsive and informative. The Inn is located so close to the beach! It was well maintained and private. There was a grocery store very close by and many restaurants within walking distance. Parking was easy.

A little piece of paradise right here on earth! Quiet and clean with beach access right there. Angel is very knowledgeable and gave us many good tips . Would definitely recommend this to others.

Loved staying here. I’ve stayed at a few different spots in Hopkins and this is one of my favorites. Great location and lovely beach. Angel is the host and he’s attentive and very friendly. AC works perfectly and bed is comfy. I’ll miss this spot til I come back.

Tricia is a great chef... Breakfast with the flapjack-turnovers with cinnamon and apple- eggs with cheese and spinach and fruit. Lasts you all day. Plus dinners Conch patties with stir fried vegetables and a salad. My kind of food. A bohemian dream land....

Xterra guesthouse was the perfect location for anyone wanting to be in the village. Walking distance to all the best food, music, beach, and grocery . The room was clean and had everything I needed! I felt right at home from the minute I checked in! Recommend to anyone interested staying in Hopkins!

Jada's friend was very nice and waiting for meg at the bus station even she couln't be sure which bus I took. The house is very nice, and can fit 4 people (2 rooms with 2 double bed)..The house is being renovated now, but it was fully ok, there were many things in the kitchen to cook, also Jada was nice and provided water was in the fridge. I only couldn't find the trash bin but that was maybe my mistake and during the night there was a very strong wind which made moving some doors which couldn't be closed yet, but there were chairs and pillows which helped to solvet he problem quickly. The location is in a very calm street but 20-30 minutes walking necessary to reach the dock or the main street.
