A glorious spot in the village, right on the beach. We loved waking up and drinking our coffee on the veranda knowing a quick dip in the sea was always available. Simple accommodations but comfortable and all the things you need to cook a meal. Tricia and Doug super responsive and helpful. We rented bikes from them and that was a big plus! Great spot for sure!

This was such a unique place. We enjoyed every aspect of the property. It’s quick access to all of Placencia while providing full privacy. The owners were quick to respond to questions.

We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it. The house was spacious and in a beautiful location right on the beach. It was good to be met on arrival and we were given lots of useful local recommendations and contacts. We hope to come back some day!

This place was perfect for our week in Placencia. it is conveniently located just off "the Sidewalk" (which is at the heart of Placencia) but was quiet and relaxing. The views from the front porch were fabulous. We had direct access to the beach and enjoyed the hammock and swing. The kitchen is adequate and more than adequate for what we needed (lots of great restaurants within easy walking distance). The washer and dryer were a huge bonus!

It’s a very comfortable little place to stay. Close to everything but far enough away from the centre of town that it is still quiet at night.

Had great communication leading up to and during our visit. I had even lost our keys to the place somewhere while visiting downtown and they drove out to unlock the door for us quickly and were very understanding. Even though there were supposedly other guests, we didn’t really see anyone except Ian, one of the property caretakers. Ian was a lot of fun to talk with and was quick to offer any help needed or to climb up, grab some coconuts, and open them for my wife and I. The only thing I didn’t realize was that it doesn’t come with things like coffee. There was a coffee pot and a mini fridge though. It was probably mentioned somewhere, I just didn’t recall seeing it. Not a big deal as the store is 2 minutes away.

We had a great stay at Jan's. While not in the town of Hopkins, the location was ideal for what we were looking for in our trip. It was a short 15 minute bike ride into town with the provided beach cruisers (my favorite part). The beach front was well manicured and taken care of. Martin was there for easy check-in. He even checked up on us while we rode out tropical storm Sara. The full kitchen was an added bonus for meals we wanted to make ourselves.

Our family of four (with kids 9 and 11) stayed for 10 days January 1-11, and loved Placencia and the Coconut Beach House. Great being able to walk out the house to the beach every morning, and we enjoyed walking everywhere and eating our way around Placencia! Spent a lot of time at the Bohemian nearby. All of us want to return and would gladly recommend the beach house to anyone. Only negative thing we have to say about the trip is that we are all scratching our ankles and bug bites! Think we got it when we all got up to watch the sunrise and didn’t spray! No fault of anyone, and worth it. Laughing Bird Caye and Monkey River were also beauties, as was kayaking mangroves on the lagoon side of Placencia. All in all one of the best vacations our family has taken.

This Placencia home exceeded all expectations. The staff's thoughtfulness showed from day one when they pre-stocked our house with food for Christmas Eve, knowing shops might be closed. Their attention to detail continued throughout our stay - from bringing fresh coconuts poolside to Mundo sharing his catch of an iguana after noting my interest. Morning paddle boarding sessions with Moira the dog became a cherished routine, and the other pups added joy to our days. The staff struck a perfect balance - always available and incredibly responsive, while allowing us the space to fully relax. They handled everything seamlessly in the background, letting us focus on enjoying this beautiful place This isn't just accommodation - it's a home away from home with staff who treat you like friends. Perfect for anyone seeking a peaceful retreat with genuine hospitality.

The house was as described. Comfortable furnishings and a well-equipped kitchen. Plenty of hot water and a filtered supply of cold water for drinking. Small beach gave easy access to the sea for safe swimming. Very well equipped for outside relaxation-porch chairs, hammocks and beach furniture. The village was too far for us to walk but a golf cart resolved that problem. The neighborhood was residential and felt very safe when walking at night. Mirko was very responsive to the few questions that we had.

The house and beach were beautiful! Lynette was so helpful in explaining the best way to the home from the airport and in connecting us with DeeDee, who was so incredibly helpful. Deedee helped us find local guides, gave us restaurant and activity recommendations, and answered every question we had while we were there. It was wonderful!

This was an absolute amazing place to stay to end our short Belize getaway! We had the beach and dock to ourselves the first night and most of the following day as the nearby casita wasn't rented. Lucas (property manager) came by shortly after we arrived to answer our questions and to take care of a minor repair (a/c in the kitchen). While it wasn't able to be rectified during ur stay, the weather was nice enough to simply use the fan to keep the place at a comfortable temperature. Check-in was simple and the home is truly wonderful and very comfortable! Both Brad and Lucas were quick to communicate and answer our questions. Highly recommend staying at this home if you head to Placencia and don't want to be right in the hustle and bustle of town and want a little privacy for your group!

A true paradise! From the moment we arrived we were struck by the incredible beauty of this property - the architecture, location and genuine care and hospitality we experienced from the hosts. Thank you Cornel and Josie for making this home available to our family for a week in paradise!

We loved our time at Sieri del Mal! The 3 bedroom home was incredibly spacious, and the deck outside was gigantic. The beds were quite comfortable, and we loved waking up to the ocean. Ratka was a wonderful host who communicated very well. She and her staff were so helpful and thoughtful (bringing fresh beach towels to your unit most days) The on-site pool was awesome, and we appreciated how easy it was to run between the ocean and pool. The local tour companies pick you up for water excursions right at Sieri del Mar's dock. We heard exactly zero noise from the ongoing restaurant construction. Highly recommend!!

Cocoplum Condos are great. We have stayed at over 20 condos in the past few years. The pool area is our all time favorite. It has beautiful trees for partial shade and is next to a lovely sand beach. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. We had a car rental and Herbert sent directions to the condo and was waiting for us when we arrived. We spent lots of time on the deck enjoying the peaceful surroundings when we weren't in the pool or hot tub! This is a perfect condo for two couples or a family with children.

Cute, clean and great attention to every minute detail. Charlene’s home is one of the best Airbnb that we stayed at. Everything is thoughtful and well cared for. The resources and information that she provides to maximize your time in Placencia is the best part. She is a very well informed local, who is always available via phone and eager to help. Home is right by the water, and we enjoyed the views and balcony. Don’t overthink this, you will not regret staying here.

The place was nice and clean as well as the pool on the beach. Two resort within walking distance for food and drinks. Town was a shot 15-20 min golfcart ride for we booked a golf cart for our stay with Captain Jacks.

This was our first trip to Belize. The surroundings are beautiful and peaceful. We enjoyed fishing from the pier, swimming in the pool and kayaking. The villa was comfortable and clean. It has all the necessities and comforts of home. Herbert was very responsive to our questions including the staff who made us feel welcome. I would recommend a vehicle to go into Placencia. We did book several excursions and they picked us up at the Villas. Highly recommend staying at the Villas at Cocoplum! Carla L.,

Kimberly’s support, services, recommendations and responsiveness was exemplary. She helped us in so many ways and responded to our questions in a timely manner. The condo was absolutely beautiful and the location was outstanding. The resort was peaceful, protected from the wind and was very private. Long walks on the beach, lounging at the palapa, paddling to the false Caye near by, shopping at the nearby village, swimming off the dock and just lounging on the beach were just a few our highlights here.

A wonderful uncrowded resort with all of the amenities you need. Great condo, fully equipped with everything you’ll need. Herbert and the other staff are so friendly and helpful, they were wonderful! The pool is amazing, we played in the water and jumped off the pier. We ate next door twice and enjoyed how quick it was to get to Placencia

The condo looks as it was described. Some of the previous photos may be pre-construction as there is now a condo building in front, blocking some of the water view. With that said, we were still very pleased with our stay. It’s in a great location and has great amenities. We used the kayaks. We relaxed on the pier. We played volleyball. All around, it was a wonderful stay. Thank you!
