The Dairy is situated on our 9 acre small-holding. Home to us and our animals. Situated on the edge of Alton village, 2 miles from Alton Towers. This was an amazing place, we went here for my birthday as we were going to Alton towers. We stayed two nights and would definitely recommend Polly’s place and also return. Polly is a great host, the place has beautiful peaceful surroundings and perfect for a quiet getaway and close enough to get to shops/Alton towers by car. There are lovely homely touches and the bed is very comfortable. Thank you for a lovely stay and the Prosecco on arrival! highly recommend

Beautiful cottage in peaceful and stunning surroundings, spotlessly clean and well stocked with everything we needed and more! Decorated beautifully throughout with cosy log burner for colder evenings! Barbara met us at the property and was very welcoming and provided some great info on local walks, pubs and also provided some tasty flapjacks! We had a fantastic stay at this beautifully converted stable in Turnditch. The place was spotless, with a great attention to detail that made it feel really welcoming. The kitchen was impressively well equipped with everything we needed and the shower was powerful and modern. The location is peaceful and scenic, perfect for a quiet getaway. We wouldn’t change a thing. Highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a comfortable and relaxing stay in the area!

We would 100% recommend. Communication was superb throughout the whole process and everything was exactly as described. We arrived to fresh bread, eggs and milk and we even had the opportunity to have a ride on the tractors and feed the calves. The children loved it and even the big kids! We took 3 dogs who were very welcome and the yard is completely fenced off so no worries about the dogs getting out to the farm. Thank you for a wonderful stay x

Me and a large group of friends stayed over for two nights for our annual post-grad meet. From the get go, Alice was very friendly and responsive and assured us a smooth beginning to our stay. Upon arriving, they had left a care package including milk and other groceries which was a nice touch, allowing us to feel at home straight away. The building was in great condition and it is clear that it is well-looked after. It felt comfortable and private and allowed us to enjoy the trip for what it was. I would definitely recommend here to any friends and family, especially those in larger groups. Thanks again for having us!

We had a lovely stay at this beautiful stable-turned-home. The location was nicely secluded, peaceful and picturesque. The house itself was very well insulated and as depicted in the pictures. We only had to turn on the log burner once. If we had any questions, Julian was always quick to reply and super accommodating. Lots of cows nearby, if you love wildlife this is the perfect place for you!

An excellent location and property. Our third stay at Norma’s cottage. The cottage has everything we need in an idyllic spot surrounded by fields and hills. The sitting room and beds are comfortable and the kitchen functional and clean. We will return. Recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful break.
