Vacation rentals with a pool in Sri Lanka

We stayed at Sunil's place from 5 to 15 December 2024. We arrived at 12:30am after a long travel period and Sunil was there to greet us with a smile and his trademark quote "No Problem" when we thanked him for staying up so late. Anything we needed he would arrange with a smile and "No Problem". He suggested great restaurants to dine in, helped us with a hire car, made an amazing breakfast for us every morning and shared a lot of information about Sri Lanka over a couple of drinks. He even made a traditional Sri Lankan meal for us one night, which I would recommend taking up his offer. We really appreciated his help with the villa and enjoyed his company. The other support staff were always helpful and courteous. A great experience all round.

This place is honestly heaven on earth! The rooms are clean and beautifully decorated. The staff is exceptional and prepares the best breakfast in the morning. Really 10/10. But the best is yet to come: the terrace. Never experienced such a nice and beautiful place directly at the beach. We will definitely see us again! Thank you for such a nice stay! :)

A short stay at the villa went wonderfully, a good place to rest through the flight from Colombo to the house. Lalith took care of our comfort, and we could count on him when we needed something. Beautiful quiet place :)

We had an amazing stay at Moonstone Villa in Galle! Just a 15-minute drive from the city center, the villa is a true gem with its beautiful and artistic design. The location is unbeatable, offering breathtaking views of the beach. Hosts Dom and Anna were incredibly hospitable—Anna even checked in on us as soon as we arrived. The service staff were very sweet and helpful, and they cooked the best local Sri Lankan lunch we've ever had. The beach-facing villa also has an adorable pool, making it the perfect spot for relaxing days and evenings. We 100% recommend this villa!

This was one of our most favorite Airbnb stays. The people, the design, the location and surroundings were beautiful and just what we were looking for to spend quality time with family. Thank you Khouse for a wonderful time!

We could not have had a better start at our vacation! The house was wonderful, nice garden, big bedrooms with individual really fresh bathrooms. Even better than the photos! But the house is more than a hose thanks to Chaminda! The food was amazing! and it was great having someone to cook for you (we never had this service before). He is very helpful, always meet you with a smile and is very service minded. When he do the shopping he makes sure to pick the best ingredients and save all receipts so you pay the correct amount. He created the best food for us based on our wishes and his suggestion. Making us test Sri Lankan food. One person more that makes this us more than a hose is the TukTuk driver Kosala. He helped us with short notice, always with a big smile and helped us to get two tuk tau since we are five persons. he also keep the garden really nice! The host Gizelle answered all our questions, provided us with helpful information about the house and things to do and see.

An eclectic Villa in the midst of nature and tranquil surroundings. The Villa spotless clean with great individual furniture in all rooms. Great verndah to sit and soak in the surroundings. Nice pool with loads of privacy. Asanka the caretaker is very responsive and discreet and keeps the place ticking . Kanthi rustles up some amazing cuisine whether for breakfast , lunch or dinner … short distance to the beach and restaurants etc … Highlight was the in house dog Patsy .. in all a perfect getaway !! Well done Olivia for making it a home away from home…

Great, clean place in Colombo with a stunning rooftop pool. Our host Joseph was also extremely helpful and courteous.

Sumudu was very responsive and friendly. The house was awesome and had everything we needed as a family to stay with a young child. I highly recommend this apartment for a family.

The apartment was beautiful, the room with the double bed was super large and I loved the fact that each room had its own bathroom. Raees was very kind and a super good communication because we arrived separately. The building and the neighborhood were good. I strongly advise this apartment. The photos are totally representative of reality. It’s even better, in reality, it's more spacious than in the photos.

Nidaal was wonderful to us as she accommodated us immediately minutes within booking as we were stuck in a horrible Air BnB. We really appreciated her fast action, as with a small toddler, it was nice to be accommodated straight away. She met us in person and showed around, which is also a rare occurrence these days. The apartment is spacious and has everything one needs for a comfy stay. The building is very secure, has supermarkets within the building and gym and pool. Lots of restaurants around the area, so would definitely recommend 👍

We came to the apartment to relax after two weeks of traveling in Sri Lanka and right away we switched to relax mode. The apartment was clean and has view to the beach and pool. We ordered food from the restaurant down stairs, it was very comfortable. The beds were really comfy and the rooms were clean and organized. The host was very responsive with everything we needed. I totally recommend this appartment.

The apartment is very nice, spacious and clean. The part of the beach is very nice and the pool facilities are great. You can’t wish for a better location. The owner is friendly and responds in time. The pool attendant is very friendly and helpful. Only downside is that the restaurant connected to the complex is not very special. Fortunately there are alternatives relatively close. Would also not recommend the laundry service as this is a third party company so you cannot really rely on quality. It would also be great if the pool/beach had more beds as it fills up quickly.

We had a great stay at Old Clove House as two families each with two small children. The layout worked really well for us. The food at the villa was delicious and if we wanted to eat out Tai had lots of great recommendations and tuk tuks available to transport us.

We absolutely loved our stay here and would definitely rebook the place. The space made you relax completely and also made you feel right at home. We looked forward to coming home when we were out and even made sure to spend time at the place as it was so nice to just lounge outside by the pool and relax. It is an extremely spacious property, private and quiet and the trees surrounding the backyard are perfect. Upul (cook) and Jagath were exceptionally helpful, friendly and respectful, although they are always around they respect your privacy and it is not that noticable. We loved eating Upul’s breakfast and Jagaths cakes (pineapple upside down and banana chocolate were both YUMMY). We were sad to check out, it was probabaly one of my most favourite and memorable airbnb stays. It is not right in town and you have to organise a tuk tuk for transport but because of all the positives it didn’t matter to us as we loved the peace and privacy of the property

What can I say that hasn’t already been mentioned? Secluded but easy to get an Uber or TukTuk to town. Lots to see and do. The pictures do not do justice. The view from the infinity pool is amazing, the rooms and architecture are very modern, stylish, yet functional. But the true gems are Sunethra and Chathuranga. You are greeted upon arrival and giving cooling towels to refresh from the heat. Dinner was freshly prepared and very delicious. Sunthera was even able to get my youngest to eat his food with a smile 😃. Every morning there were fresh fruits and breakfast prepared to our liking. Can’t forget to mention Chloe. She is a watchful, sweet girl who also makes sure your stay is going well. Simple the best and warmest stay I’ve ever had at an Air BnB. We are already planning our return as soon as possible. Don’t pass up this amazing place. You won’t regret it!

An incredible place that really feels like your own personal paradise. With fantastic staff and five star accommodation we really felt lucky throughout our entire stay. The pictures are great but really when you first arrive at the villa you’ll get a sense of how much more there is to offer in person from Kumara Villa. It’s a great location that’s only a short walk or drive to the beach and set back far enough so you can swim in the pool or relaxin in the gardens surrounded by the sounds of wildlife and nature. We would definitely recommend this to anyone visiting Weligama and would love to return one day soon!

Well appointed House, extremely clean, lovely decor, housekeeping staff and breakfast included make this property a great choice. It’s beachfront location is a plus. Communication with host was excellent. All bedrooms are air-conditioned however living area is not. Something to be aware of. With the fans on it was quite comfortable during the current cooler season. Approximately 20 minutes drive from Galle. A boutique hotel next door has a small restaurant and there are some rustic beach bars a few minutes walk along the beach. Great stay and would definitely recommend.
