Family-friendly vacation rentals in Sparks

We went with a friend's family and there were 4 kids aged 1,3,4 and 5. The jungle gym was an instant hit. The backyard was gorgeous and plenty of snow to play with for the kids without having to drive or go anywhere. Warm home , warm host , basic common sense rules and simple instructions. Good location just a 4-5 mins drive to King's beach. Had a great time - couldn't ask for more.

Tracy was very easy to communicate with. We loved the ski in ski out. Her place is probably better than the other units in that area because clearly she spent the time to renovate the unit. Kitchen was fully stocked for cooking at home, but also close to the village to go get some quick bites would recommend her place in a heartbeat.

Great ski condo to stay within walking distance of NorthStar. We took the shortcut that Albert suggested to the Gondola and it only took 10-15 minutes walking to get there. The condo was comfortable, quiet, and private. Perfect for 2 people spending a weekend in Northstar skiing.

Our stay was great! I thought the space was the perfect size for myself, husband and two small kiddos. And having two full bathrooms was a huge plus. The location was a very short 5 minute walk to The Village and the path was easy to follow. We didn't use the kitchen much so I can't speak to it but they had everything you need. Amy was quick to communicate and was very flexible/understanding with a last minute extension that we ended up not needing. Highly recommend for a weekend getaway!

The home is spacious and the neighborhood is beautiful. We enjoyed the clubhouse with ping pong and hot tub. We walked to the local brewery and were close to several nice shopping areas.

It's a very cozy space. Small but still contains everything one would need for a long term stay. Not a great cellular signal, and apparently they have blackouts from time to time, but this isn't reflective of the host. Just an fyi if you're needing a stable cellular connection. The wifi is strong enough as well, apart from unforseen loss of electricity.

My husband and I came here to ski at Northstar and this place exceeded our expectations! The shuttle to the ski lifts was super convenient and easy (and free!) We also loved using the fireplace and enjoying on the super cozy couch. Host was very helpful and responsive, and offered a flexible checkout.

We were in town looking for housing and needed someplace to rest peacefully and keep our gear locked up. We felt safe and at home during our stay. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Great location with wonderful trails and spectacular views right outside of the neighborhood. Sauna and Spa were welcome amenities after skiing all day. Plenty of room for our group of six. Kitchen was well equipped for cooking meals but be aware there are zero stock items (ie oils, condiments, etc.) and none were promised. There were, however, sufficient spices. Would recommend and stay again without hesitation.

Great place to stay when coming to Reno for work. I bring my dogs and love walking to local bars and restaurants. Cute place!

We recently stayed at Megan's house in Reno and had a positive experience. The location was excellent! It was not too far from downtown, and we enjoyed a nice view from the master bedroom. The house was spacious and comfortable, perfect for our family. We appreciated the three bedrooms and the comfortable living area. The first night was a bit cold for us because the batteries in the thermostat were very low, causing the temperature to cycle on and off. I bought new batteries and replaced them next day, which resolved the issue. The shower drain in the living room bathroom was blocked at that time, resulting in slow drainage, so we all had to use the shower in the master bathroom. Overall, it was a great stay. Will stay there again^^

Nestled in a quiet neighborhood. Pretty much had everything we needed to do for a cook out dinner with the family. Jacuzzi got hot but the jets didn’t work but we still manage to enjoy our stay. I love that it is very pet friendly and they had doggy toys, pee pads, and doggy bowls available. Location is 15 minutes away from all the Casinos which wasn’t that bad of a distance. Great home to stay for a peaceful get away from the city life in the Bay Area.

The house was as pictured! Beautiful scenery and quiet neighborhood. Kitchen provided everything we needed to cook a full meal, bathroom was fully stocked to include shampoo and conditioner. The host was very helpful and answered all my questions in a timely manner. I would definitely recommend this property for all families.

Had a fantastic stay in Truckee! The place was spotless and well-maintained, making it feel like a home away from home. Kevin,the host was incredibly welcoming and responsive, ensuring we had everything we needed. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The location is ideal—close to beautiful hiking trails and just a short drive to downtown Truckee with its charming shops and restaurants. I’ll definitely be back to this charming place! Highly recommend.

Our host was one of the best we've had. They were incredibly responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. The house was spacious and comfortable, with a great view of nature. We enjoyed the peaceful walks and truly felt right at home. The wine bar they recommended was a fun spot – we had a great time there! A perfect stay!

Fantastic stay! Beautiful and clean place with plenty of room for 6 of us to have a very comfortable stay. Kim was super friendly, responsive, and accommodating at every stage. Having a garage was a huge plus, and also being right on the shuttle line to access the village restaurants/shops, ski resort, and rec center. Kitchen and bathrooms were very well stocked with everything we needed. Highly recommend this property and hope to stay here again!!

Was clean and the AC was amazing. Check in was great. Beds were comfortable. Everything worked. Lots of space. Bad area of town.

We loved every minute of our stay! It was easy to find, cozy, quiet, and clean. We especially loved the heated floors and how the kitchen had everything we could possibly need.

We stayed here during a race in Lake Tahoe. My family and accompanying friend and family loved it. Although it got warm in the main living area and upstairs in the summer, the fans in each room helped manage that. The place was clean and the nearby pool was great for the kids, and parents to relax. Would definitely come back!

Our family of four had a wonderful visit. There were so many activities for our two sons (3 and 5yrs) to take advantage of. Activity room, free private movie theater, free game rentals, arcade, foosball table, ice rink, gondola up to the Ritz, ice cream social… we didn’t even ski, but had a great time playing in the snow! It was also nice having a washer and dryer in the unit. Jerry was a great host and we will definitely be back again!

We stayed in the chalet with our 7-year-old and found it to be an ideal getaway. The home was cozy, functional, and filled with natural light from its many windows. We especially appreciated its child-friendly atmosphere and games and convenient location—just two blocks from the shuttle to Diamond Peak Ski Resort. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again!

Great home for our group of 6 adults and 5 kids! Place was clean and as described. There were plenty of oils/spices in the kitchen and lots of seating (both indoors and outdoors). Thank you for a great stay!
