Lori and her husband Rick were fabulous, My friends and I absolutely loved them! We highly recommend this cute cottage by the lake. The house smelled amazing! No chemicals just a wonderful beautiful scent that made me smile. The warm fire roaring at night while drinking a cup of hot tea and the beautiful view of the lake was a wonderful way to start my healing journey. Everything is neat and labeled for you and she goes above and beyond to really make sure that you are happy. We had quite the snow storm while hunkered in and Rick cleared the walkway, drive way and stopped in to get our trash. They live right next door which was great incase we needed anything but still had complete privacy :) Location is great and you’re not far from stores, restaraunt, etc. I highly recommend, you will feel like you are visiting family.

This was our second visit to Warren's charming farmhouse, and we loved it every bit as much this time. We can't wait to come back. It is definitely our "happy place"!

Hey! Here's a chance to experience a super-cool place in an naturalistic environment you'd NEVER expect to find in a city - and a unique bit of Detroit's urban history as well. It's a modernist house designed circa 2004 by a couple of Cranbrook architectural students as a challenge to create affordable housing in a several-block area that had been totally cleared of buildings during the earlier urban renewal era of the late 20th century. It sits like a cool modernist island amidst fields of glass and trees, providing a wonderful naturalistic environment unusual in an urban context. Where else could you look out the windows and see wild turkeys flying across open fields in the city?? Open all the curtains on the large windows and let the outside in. Totally safe and secure - and a quick walk to the shops and restaurants of the famous Eastern Market.

Beautiful, unique place. It was very cozy. Nick is just straight up a wonderful human being, if you need anything he will make it happen. So many restaurants and things to do nearby. Hope to visit again.

Sara’s listing was very lovely and had a very homey feel with lots of traditional furniture and tons of natural light. Each bedroom has its own vibe. There’s a narrow staircase that leads up to the living space which might be troublesome for some older folk but other than that I love everything else. We didn’t need to use the stove or any appliances but there’s was basically everyone you would need, plus there were some chickens running around the backyard which was fun. Would stay here again. Not too far from downtown.

Ann Margaret was a wonderful host, checking in regularly to make sure everything was working for me. She and Judy left many special touches around the space (delicious breakfast treats, glass bottles of filtered water, a heavy duty ice scraper for my car) to make it feel like a very personal experience despite the ample privacy. I loved the space which was homey in an elevated way. It was a great retreat for a busy visit to Ann Arbor.

Enjoyed my time here! Lots of space and the fenced years was great for my little dog. Good location near downtown Ferndale on a nice, quiet street. I had some trouble getting into the house at first, but the host was very responsive and found a solution.

Jill’s place was everything me and my dog could ask for, we felt right at home. There was peace and quiet with plenty of space to walk my dog. We will definitely look to stay here again in the future!

We stayed at Joseph's with our two young kiddos for three nights. We are super happy we found the house available and it lived up to its description 100%. The place is super cozy. The kitchen is GREAT. The main bedroom has a better mattress (and far superior pillows) than the JW Marriot we stayed at three weeks ago. Medium firmness and ultra-supportive! 10/10 on the mattress & bedding. THANK YOU!!! For the kids: The downstairs play area was much fun for our 4-1/2 yr-old girl and the air hockey was a blast. The bathroom had a kid's stool and the tub was kid-friendly (and still very comfortable for an adult). The house is very kid-friendly, but note that there is a staircase to the basement which is open to the main level. This was not a problem for us as our 1-3/4 yr-old was finally slightly intimidated by something (or he just didn't feel like making a break for it). For toddlers, you might ask about a gate. We would absolutely stay here again w/wo kids!

This is the second of Jennifer’s listings we’ve stayed at and it was just as cozy and clean as the first! Jennifer is a very responsive and friendly host, and the house was clean, nicely decorated, and easy to settle into. Would happily stay again.

Paiges Place had a gorgeous view of Ford Field in Tiger stadium, the view was unbeatable and location was perfect. We were in town for wrestling States at Ford Field and her location was perfect for getting to and from our venue, easily accessible, and the perfect size for the three of us. Paige was responsive to my questions. If we are ever back in the area I will for sure look to see if this is available. Thank you for the nice stay!

Auntie Blondie (as she told me to call her) was an awesome host. She was very thorough giving me a tour of the property and was a phone call away when I needed anything. The location and views were great for the price and would recommend this property to anyone in the area. Thank you again for allowing us to celebrate in your property.

Perfect place for a family getaway. The kids enjoyed swimming and playing board games.

Stayed here for 2 weeks with my 2 kids aged 8 and 11. The place was nice and clean and the host was easily contactable and sent us a message every couple of days to check all was ok. We had plenty of room and facilities to cook and do our laundry. The pool area out the back was great and my kids and I spent many hours swimming. I would definitely consider booking again if we are back in the area next year.
