Vacation rentals in South Uist

I arrived on a windy and rainy day and initially felt a bit hesitant about staying in a caravan, but this experience far exceeded my expectations! The caravan had a beautiful view, and the interior was cozy and warm, even with the rough weather outside. The internet connection was surprisingly fast and reliable, hot water was available whenever I needed it, and the gas oven worked perfectly. Everything was excellent, with just a minor issue, the towels had a slight smell of humidity. However, I always bring my own towels, so it wasn’t a problem for me. What truly stood out was the hospitality of the owner, who personally visited the caravan to check if I needed anything, which I really appreciated. Overall, I was very happy with my stay and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!

We had an amazing stay! The chalet was the perfect place to return to after a day out exploring - so cosy and peaceful. The views are incredible and we loved spotting all the seals and other wildlife. Joan was a very welcoming and helpful host. We 'd love to return one day!

Joan was super responsive. Although her instructions were limited to 2 pages, she answered any question I had within minutes. The area is lovely and she recommended The Brewery, which is a great restaurant with a wide selection of beers brewed on the premises. She also recommended a local weaver, which was a highlight of our stay. The house had what we needed. The heating boost was easy to use.

This was paradise. My wife and I eloped to the Isle of Skye to marry. Knowing this, Lynn left a bottle of prosecco and a nice card for us. This was well beyond any expectations.

Karen's cottage is in a beautiful location, very cosy and comfy. Kitchen very well equipped. Lovely views from the cottage. Very well-stocked village shop 5 mins walk away. Very close to Neist Point which is one of our favourite spots on Skye. Thanks for a wonderful week.

Ronnie is an excellent communicator, promptly replying to any queries. Everything is as described, highly recommend.

Beautifully decorated and well appointed home. Great location - 5 min walk from the co-op, 15 mins walk to the centre of Castlebay. We stayed with our two young kids and their grandparents. Everyone was comfortable, there were appropriately designed bedrooms and bathrooms to accommodate all ages. The house was warm throughout and features a comfy living room, big dining table - and a bright and welcoming kitchen with a nice, smaller table for breakfast. Definitely hope to stay here again and happily recommend.

Amazing cabin with great views and short walk to shops and the gym. Excellent view, which made the morning cuppa extra lovely. Elaine and her family were amazing hosts, I highly recommend this gem to everyone!
