Vacation rentals with a pool in South Italy

Staying at Carlo's house is a truly organic experience of what the Airbnb idea is. It is not a place focused on making money, but a real Italian home that allows you to feel the Italian atmosphere, people and their hospitality. The apartment is fantastically located - with a view of the historic city, and from the terrace you can watch the changing sea landscape all day long. The hosts make sure that you feel comfortable in their home. An additional advantage is the equipment of the fridge - we arrived late in the evening and did not have to worry about what to eat because Carlo and his parents made sure that our fridge was full (there was also the famous cake made of local ingredients!) Our dog was also delighted because he could run around the slopes of the vineyard and the hosts were very understanding. On the day of departure, the dog did not want to leave the apartment (just like us!) This is probably the best proof of this place. We will definitely be happy to come back!

Ivan is a very communicative, friendly and accommodating host. We were welcomed by his mother at the house and felt welcome. The communication with Ivan was spotless and straightforward. He responded immediately to requests and questions and tried to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The location of the house is quiet, with a huge property and a beautiful river. There were many opportunities to do sports, whether in the pool or on the basketball court integrated into the property. Both can be used day and night. The wifi was fast enough. Kitchen as well as good quality bathrooms, however, a few more cooking utensils could be available. We felt very comfortable as a group of 6 boys and can highly recommend the house!

Staying at the villa of Roberto was an amazing experience. We were able to use the bbq and the pizza oven to get the real Sicilian feeling. Roberto was very warm and welcome and always available to anwer our questions. Thanks Roberto!

Cozy, spacious accommodation with great outdoor area. The saltwater pool and outdoor shower are amazing. The kitchen is great, everything is taken care of. There are games, books, loungers and water play equipment for outside. We were very happy to use the outdoor kitchen, a highlight is the large barbecue. The house is very quiet, the huge garden with the fruit trees (from which you can eat) is also great for children. The landlord is incredibly helpful and available at any time. Car is necessary to visit the small and large cities outside. We had a great time here, even in wind and rain you will find a dry spot on the large covered terrace. Carlos, your place was magnificent and we were welcomed by you very kindly. the entire property at the same time exudes elegance and comfort and is wonderfully located. We were particularly pleased that the swimming pool was still operational so late in the year and gave us the feeling of summer again. What particularly touched us was the delicious bottle of red wine for reception in conjunction with the interesting conversations with you. After all, we were also allowed to buy some canisters of olive oil from you, which we are very much looking forward to enjoying. This is a luxury gem hidden away in a tranquil location. The only minus off season was that most restaurants <30 minutes away were closed (October) otherwise this place is magic, clean, newly refurbished, has all necessary amenities, incredibly private and has excellent hosts and goat farmer neighbors ;)

Everything great except that one bathroom had hair in the shower, and there was no shower gel in any of the bathrooms. We only stayed one night so we didn't mind that much.

Our hosts were fantastic. The location was on aggro Turismo site very quiet and peaceful yet 10 minutes by car into Ostuni. Our location was central to several of the beautiful historical towns all within a 30 minute driving range. If you’re looking for a great location for the family that is just outside of town yeah close enough to go and visit all the historical sites, this is a place the outdoor kitchen with the beautiful stone courtyard was magnificent and peaceful

We loved our stay here - the apartment is in a quiet location up the hill from the sea. Geoff’s instructions helped us find it easily from Tivat Airport, where we’d hired a car. It has the most incredible view of the Bay which is probably one of the most beautiful places we’ve ever visited. We did a boat trip to the Blue Cave, submarine tunnels and Perast, took the Kotor cable car up the mountain, walked into Kotor a few times and generally enjoyed swimming in the sea, kayaking and paddle boarding. The only thing we weren’t keen on was the traffic so if you want to go anywhere, leave early and be prepared to queue! The little supermarket and bakery down the hill are great and there are several restaurants within a few minutes walk. We had a brilliant holiday, made easier by Geoff and Suzi’s helpful advice before and during our stay. Hope to return to Montenegro again!

The best airbnb host ever. She went above and beyond, from greeting us upon arrival, giving local recommendations, and even bringing us pastries on the day of our departure- she was just lovely and helpful the entire stay. The apartment was spotless and well stocked. The balcony was absolutely beautiful. It was an easy walk to the main streets of Sorrento. But again, Maria is what really made the stay special. I’d 100 percent stay here again.

Very nice house, free parking. I think it is a lovely accommodation during the summer with the garden. We stayed at the end of October and the place was a little damp. Overall everything was good.

Great location and a great place to stay.

Ivana was such an incredible host. Our flight was delayed which meant arriving after midnight. Ivana was able to greet us and even offered to pick us up from the airport if we couldn’t get a taxi. This is way above and beyond a regular host. Thank you so so much. The apartment was perfect for our needs (2 adults, 3 kids) with 3 large bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The balcony over looking Cavtat was beautiful. Short walk to the harbour, 10 minutes from the airport and 20 minutes to Dubrovnik by car or boat. Ideal location. Thank you so very much!

Ernad is a very enjoyable and cheerful host. The apartment is quietly located and offers a fantastic view of the sea and the mountains. In addition, the apartment has everything you need, the kitchen is well-equipped.

Guilia's place is spectacular! It's better than the photos with gorgeous views of the sea, mountains, city and even Calabria in the distance. The grounds are immaculate with a huge private terrace for meals and drinks and a massive pool that feels like your own private resort. Giulia's family lives in the other units and were always friendly and helpful but not intrusive in the least. Even Papaya the dog knew when to leave us to ourselves lol! The interior is pristine and spacious. As many have pointed out the town center is about a 10-15 minute walk away. So you are very close to all the restaurants and shops but away from the tourist hordes. Taormina is hilly but most of the walk is relatively flat. Traffic is not a worry, we did not encounter much of it on our walks. Also, Italian drivers, although speedy, are careful and well aware of pedestrians. Giulia is a fantastic host, always quick to provide recommendations and respond to our questions. Wish we could have stayed forever!

Excellent stay in Piano Di Sorrento, Salvatore was an excellent host and very responsive via Whats App to any questions or queries we had. The apartment itself was exactly what we needed and spotlessly clean. Wouldn’t be ideal for cooking as only has a 2 ring hob but as we were out and about most of the time this didn’t affect us and when we did eat in it was from the bakery up the road at breakfast which I highly recommend. The road into the apartment is very very tight especially as a foreign driver but we did manage it and the whole place is very secure with a key fob gate. The Garden area the has so amazing with all sorts of fruit and vegetables being grown in there and looks stunning. Overall we had a great stay and actually added 2 nights on to our original booking. 5 minute walk to the train station which makes sorrento, Naples and Pompeii easily accessible. The tourist tax of €4 per head, per night needs to be taken in to account when booking though. Highly recommended.

Our stay at the River House was great. It was surrounded by nature and very private. Katarina was very helpful and responsive. Her mom treated us with some of her specialties and they were delicious. There were a few beaches around that we visited. Dubrovnik was about 15 minutes drive from there and it’s always nice to visit. I would recommend the river house for a summer vacation,

Extraordinary house, extremely tasteful rooms with an own bathroom each. The best was the lovely housekeeper Lucia, who was always there to help.

Villa palamara is an absolutely stunning piece of Francesco’s family heritage and it has been an honor to be able to stay there. The terrace overlooking the ocean as well as the kitchens are most remarkable and we have really enjoyed cooking and enjoying our breakfast, lunch and dinner on there terrace . In general, the kitchen is the most well equipped we have ever visited through airbnb and the place was very clean. It felt luxurious being there and we hope to come again soon! The host Francesco is also very friendly and easy to communicate with.

Already in advance, Agostino responded to queries in record time and even a small change of dates was not an issue. Rita and Pino have taken care of ours on site. We will keep the fresh salad from the garden in the best memory. The apartment itself is as described and seen in the photos, also the magnificent view from the terrace where we could enjoy the morning sun. In November not unimportant if the nights in Sicily get a little cooler: the apartment was well heated. And when Pino showed me that the heating is operated with shredded olive kernels and almond bowls, I was thrilled with this CO2-neutral heating. In short: We had a wonderful holiday at Villa Settefrati.

A beautiful place to explore wider Puglia from. Great host. Would return. Situated just north of Porto Cesareo. Car essential with parking space inside secure perimeter walls. Most sights were 45-90 minute drive. Modern, clean with comfortable furnishings and beds. Well equipped kitchen. Self-catered: 20 mins to nearest Lidl. Short drive to reach restaurants (10 minutes). End of October still warm and sunny in daytime (shorts, t-shirt and slides). Able to swim in small pool (very refreshing though ☺️) and in the sea at nearby beach (5 mins walk: sandy and shallow). Arrived after a severe rain so suffered more with mosquitoes outside which stopped us sitting out in the evenings sadly. Solar-powered hot water very limited (max 2 very short showers). No hot water from kitchen tap. Immersion heater did not seem to get temperature past tepid even after a couple of hours. Would be less of an issue in high summer. Out of season largely was silent around (beach club noise one evening).

Elodies villa was exactly as described and perfect for a family holiday. The seperate buildings enabled everyone some privacy and outdoor living area by the pool both functional and flexible. The hosts were very responsive and responded almost instantly to any question. We took the recommendation to bring in Massimo Mancarella as our personal chef for our final farewell dinner and he is an amazing chef, preparing our best meal of our trip. Such a nice way to end our Puglia holiday dining outdoors together being treated with an amazing meal and service.

Me and 6 other friends had a beatiful time at Casa Grande. The home is great for a laid back vacation with lots of relaxation. There's plenty of seating available inside and outside, and because of plentyful lighting you can enjoy it even during the night. The beatiful scenery (sea view, mountain views) and plants really give you the 'Authentic Vibrations' the name describes. We all felt right at home and would describe this as the perfect vacation home. The staff is very friendly and flexible. We had late arrival and a long drive to the home and were greeted with two huge pizza's, which instantly relieved us of all worries, this really shows the hospitality of the host. The location of the house is good, there's plenty of shops and restaurants within 20-30 minutes of driving, however for some of the more 'touristy' locations you have to drive further. This is however always a joy because of the great scenery everywhere. Would recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing vacation.
