The house on the water is really very nice and the location great as a start for various excursions. We had everything you need, but a bit of basics was missing in the kitchen (no spices, garbage bags were too small, no dish soap, etc.). We also didn't see the microwave. Basically, you have to get everything you need in everyday life (toilet paper, paper towels, tabs, etc.). But otherwise, it has it all. Some rooms should not be entered, which I always find difficult when renting an entire place. It is also a pity that there is a huge hot tub outside that you are not allowed to use. Otherwise we felt very comfortable. The house is very clairaudient, you have to know that and the room at the top is not bordered with a door. The location is great and communication was also straightforward. All in all recommended 😊

This house was a gem of a find! We loved staying right on the water (and despite the cold, our son loved swimming), having access to the boat (which we took to dinner one night!), and just the peace and relaxation of watching the water and boats go by. You feel like you’re in the middle of no where, and yet we were a very short drive to all that we wanted to do - Keukenhof, Zaanse Schans, Amsterdam, and even the coast! We walked to get coffee in the mornings and enjoyed the walk and the town. We also love that it’s dog friendly! We changed our minds last minute and didn’t take our dog along, but we were wishing we had. He would’ve loved the canal and boat!

Great cottage quietly located on the water. For very sensitive people, it may be important to know that the neighboring geese can be a bit noisy and you can hear the airplanes. At night, however, we didn't notice it much. Really very very clean, new and well maintained. Very nice complex. The area is great, especially to explore by bike. The sea and many cities can be reached within 30-40 minutes. We were very satisfied!!!

Angelique is a super host, very responsive and on hand if you need anything answered or help with directions etc. I have not encountered a better air bnb host :-) The water cottage is peaceful and restful and has everything you need. For Amsterdam you must be either prepared to drive or happy to walk just over 1.3 miles into the town. Its a 45 min bus into Amsterdam which is pretty regular or you can drive 15 mins to a train station and make your way in from there. We had no problem with this at all but some might be put off. However the location and quiet peace by the water was super and worth it!

We had a wonderful stay at Ruud's houseboat. He was responsive and very helpful for our first stay in the Netherlands. The deck has a great view of that part of the lake and was perfect to watch the boat show and fireworks that were happening that evening. We would definitely stay at Ruud's again!

We had a great time at Bruna's tiny house. It was very clean and adequately furnished, the hot tub was a super relaxed addition to the accommodation - even if it takes a few tries to get the perfect temperature 😊 Bruna was very helpful and friendly. We will be happy to come back.
