Check-in was straightforward and all the important information was super prepared. The highlight is the view over the water and the terrace, from which you can directly access the lake via a ladder. We were already there for the second time and would be happy to come back.

CLEAN QUIET WITH A BEAUTIFUL VIEW

The space is amazing with natural sunlight coming into the living room area. It is definitely big enough for 2 or 3 people. The kitchen has all the basics that are necessary for basic meals.

The apartment was very clean and had all that we needed. Came as advertised. Host was very clear with communication and responded promptly. Great place to stay!!

The location is in front of harbor and very close to the historic center of Monnickendam. Bus access was very good for nearby towns and villages, including Marken, Volendam, Edam and Broek in Waterland. I was happy to see the sunrise across the harbor and yachts from the window of this attic apartment. I also really liked the check-in time was early from 13:00. This made me to leave my bags in the apartment early and explore Monnickendam well in the afternoon. It is very good for especially a short term stay in this well organized clean apartment. Joke and Peter were both friendly hosts.

We had a great weekend in Molkwerum. The apartment was fine. Anything you need was present. The space was fine and the area was wonderfully quiet. Furthermore, it is a fantastically beautiful village and you can enjoy hiking and biking. In short, a great location.

Great location! Easy 10 minute bike to the center of the old town and train station. Easy to take the bus to Amsterdam. Hans was very responsive and provided everything we needed including bikes. Great place!

We had a very nice weekend at Frank's place. In good weather - if you can sit outside - this place is perfect. Amsterdam and Utrecht are easily and quickly accessible. The surroundings around the property are also very welcoming.

We had a wonderful time at the Steelhouse! Natalia provided us with very detailed and helpful information about the arrival and stay in advance – nothing was really missing. The accommodation is fantastically beautiful in the middle of nature and can be reached via a raft – the arrival alone is a little adventure. Our dog enjoyed the surroundings as much as we did: lots of greenery, tranquility and space. The steel house itself is high-quality and furnished with a lot of love for detail – everything you need is available. Particularly impressive was the view of the lake – simply breathtaking! A real highlight was also the sauna – perfect for relaxing after a day in nature. We will be happy to come back. Thank you for this unforgettable time!

Lovely quiet place! Felt like a vacation.

We had a fantastic 3-night stay, the house was very comfortable, spacious, well equipped and the surroundings were just amazing and quiet. Beds were very comfortable and everything felt clean. A great plus to have 2 toilets with a group of 8. Our kids enjoyed the place too and especially the space to run around the house and in the high grass. The lake was not even 1min away and one can access with a boat, swim from there (ladder) or just enjoy the sunset. Finally the village, with 2 restaurants, very tasty eel/fish seller and a a grocery store, was very cute and at a walking distance. Plenty to explore around!

Ya'll this place was so dreamy. Truly, our family stopped her first on a trip and it was the perfect first stop. A calming, slow paced village with such beautiful scenery - the home was perfect and so enjoyable. Would highly recommend.

Very charming house by the river. Great location to visit Amsterdam. Beds really comfortable. Kitchen well equipped. Great sound system. We spent good times and Katelijne is a great host. She is very responsive and helpful.

Everything perfect. Nice contact with host. Fantastic apartment located directly on the water. Leiden and Amsterdam can be reached by car on about 40 minutes.

The apartment is super cozy and very nicely furnished. There is everything you need. The location is ideal. You can walk to downtown in 5 minutes. Still quiet. Communication with Majsa was great. As a welcome there was a bottle of wine and something to nibble on. It was beautiful all around. We definitely want to come back! Thanks very much.

My family of four stayed at Max’s place for four nights. The location is great, with just about an hour’s drive to many popular destinations in Holland. The view of the lake from the balcony was beautiful. The apartment was clean and spacious. We truly enjoyed our stay in this quiet and peaceful neighborhood, and we will recommend it to our friends and family if they visit Holland in the future.

Location is perfect, place is nice and roomy, steps and hallway are a bit narrow but was totally fine for us. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Cute cafe nearby for breakfast. Host was great as well. Lots of good recommendations!!

We had a great time. On the weekend, it was sometimes very loud because many tuners met in the parking lot opposite. During the week it was super quiet and we will be happy to come back

Yvonne's place is really nice and exactly as described. There was nothing missing for us. You can also sit comfortably by the canal.

The stay with Klaas and Heleen was wonderful again. We love this place a lot, we've been here for the second time. The apartment is nicely furnished and equipped. There are also bikes and boats and beautiful seating outside by the water. The hosts are very kind and accommodating. Just A GREAT stay.

Absolutely loved our stay in this classic, beautiful home with a magnificent view of the Amstel River. There were 3 of us and this was so so much nicer and more economical than having to book 2 cramped hotel rooms. The tall ceilings and windows make this space so bright and airy. The place was spotless and the beds and linens were clean and comfortable. We could walk to everything we wanted to see within 1/2 hour or hop on a tram car. This was our first visit to Amsterdam and definitely want to come back and stay here again:)
