Boat vacation rentals in South Holland

Very nice ship in a great location in Leiden! Each cabin has a small bathroom. We really enjoyed the trip.

Staying on the Rothor was very special: Jeanette is a very warm and reserved host, but she is always there for questions. She responds very quickly, immediately replaced duvets (due to Down allergy) and gave us a lot of information about the boat and its surroundings. We immediately felt at home and also very happy to spend time on the boat. The boat is very lovingly and personally furnished, the kitchen well equipped. It is very bright due to the wrap-around windows and also cozily warm in the sun. Otherwise, the good fireplace quickly remedies, even at low outside temperatures (in the morning it was usually only 4 - 6 degrees). In the evening it was a little louder due to the gastronomy from time to time, which did not bother us. For this, geese swim by with chicks, chickens and even hood divers. Kaat, Jeanette's cat, always liked to look to the right and stayed for a nap to our great joy.

This overnight stay was a surprise for my sweetheart and myself was just as surprised with what we got. The ship is huge and the captain and the chef make for a real ‘below deck’ experience. Lovely bed, nice shower and a dinner which exceeded our expectations. Chef is not a hobby cook, but is in the catering and you can see and taste that, with surprising edible elements from the Biesbosch. The captain provided a beverted tour with impressive stories about the history of the Biesbosch. Great and enjoy!

Peter is a humorous man who enjoys his guests on his ship. We were 11 people and 4 hours away. We brought our own food by arrangement, which we could warm in the well-equipped kitchen. We were also happy about cool beer on deck, music from the facility and a real feel-good atmosphere. When the weather is right, the beautiful experience is guaranteed.

It's something special. Extraordinary experience. Highly recommended.

Perfect stay despite privacy a little disturbed by people looking at the portholes of the accommodation and noise at night above the boat until 5am

the old wooden ship has just been lovingly renovated. You sleep in a rather narrow bunk, see photo. If you like to lie diagonally, you should ask for a double bed, there are also two cabins with wider beds. Shared toilets and a shower are available, in most cabins there is a small sink for evening cat linens. The location in the harbor is great, you can walk quickly to good restaurants or in the city. the breakfast was very tidy, you can coordinate what you want. i got a whole table full to myself with rolls, cheese, ham, egg, jam, nutella, fruit and chocolate eggs. Plus a pot of coffee and tea each. All in all, I felt very comfortable and sat in the sun with the pot tea on deck after breakfast. Note on parking: P4 = large free parking on the right in front of the city. At the back, go directly to the harbor. Pay attention to signs for resident parking (right side).

Fantastic boat. We loved it

We had a very nice weekend on the boat. The boat is bigger than expected and is equipped with everything that is needed. Ronald was thankfully flexible with check in and gave many helpful information and tips about the boat, the area and Rotterdam.
