Cottage vacation rentals in South Historic District, Savannah

Lauren’s place was absolutely beautiful and unique plus sparkling clean and so comfortable. One of the best Airbnbs we have stayed in! Out of a storybook, she has truly thought of every detail. In addition to the beautiful interior, the front porch is amazing and back yard with pool, hot tub, sauna, and outdoor shower is phenomenal! Lauren is a friendly, responsive and thoughtful host. Any need or question was responded to immediately. 10 out of 10- Highly recommend staying here! Only wish we could have stayed longer!

We loved our stay and the Island was so peaceful and calm. We will definitely return. The house was fabulous and the location was perfect.

Stayed for 2 nights and everything went great. Unit has everything you need for a short/long term stay. The location was awesome and close to a lot of things downtown. Rooms were clean and as advertised in the description. Sai was very responsive and respectful.

The home was adorable! Missy was very helpful with anything we needed. Nice place to unwind a relax!

The cottage was lovely. Had all amenities as described. Golf cart was great to get to local beach and cute bar Sea Wolf right up the street. The beach chairs and umbrellas came in handy. Quiet location.

Beautiful cottage! Plenty of space, well laid out. VERY conveniently located for walking to the beach. What's more, the beach access is away from the larger public areas so it's not super crowded. A pool is also conveniently located. The whole resort area is very walkable / bikeable (as are large chunks of the island). Charles was easy to work with and responsive.

Jenny’s cottage was simply adorable! I traveled from California to visit my daughter and her new husband. We were exploring Savannah and the Tybee area. The cottage was centrally located to both. Only about 20 minutes to historic Savannah. The cottage is beautifully appointed with a lovely family room and a vintage chic kitchen. The bedrooms were very nice and the beds were very comfortable with a king bed in the master and a comfy trundle in the second bedroom. Jenny was so responsive and easy to contact. We had a few requests and she responded so quickly and generously. She had wonderful recommendations for local restaurants and attractions. The grounds were lovely with a sitting area and fire pit. We enjoyed a walk through the neighboring areas. It was very peaceful and quiet. We would definitely stay at Jenny’s cottage again and highly recommend her property to anyone visiting the area. Thank you Jenny for hosting us! We’re so glad we found you!

We had an excellent stay! The property was just as pictured, and the unit was very clean! The hosts were very responsive and gave great tips and advice ahead of our stay. Check in was very easy with keypad on the door, check out was even easier, with no lengthy to do list before you leave, all we really had to do was lock up on our way out. The property is very clean and well kept, they run a beautiful Inn! Best of all is the location, the property is walking distance to all Savannah has to offer; the historic district’s, Forsyth park, city market, Broughton street, River street, etc. And a short drive to Bonaventure Cemetery, Wormsloe State Historic Site, and even Tybee island. Parking was just a very short walk to the State street garage; which had very reasonable rates. The neighborhood is very clean and quiet and we always felt safe walking around. Everyone we encountered during our stay and walks around the city were very friendly! Absolutely would stay here again!

We had such a great time staying here for our thanksgiving trip this year. We were a little worried about staying a bit further away from Savannah than we normally do but it turned out to be perfect and just a little quick drive to downtown. The place is exactly as described and Molly was always extremely responsive and just overall the stay was incredible.

The house was very clean and the beds were super comfortable. Our dogs enjoyed the backyard to run and play but there were tons of mosquitoes so we weren’t able to enjoy the back patio much ourselves. The kitchen was equipped with what we needed but we wish there had been coffee provided. The body wash in the shower was empty but there was also bar soap so not a big deal. Shauna was available to answer any questions but we didn’t need her during our stay. The surrounding neighborhood is pretty run down and unkept overall but it was very quiet both during the day and at night.

Our stay at this rental home was fantastic. The location was perfect—just a short walk to a beautiful beach with clear waters. Renting a golf cart made exploring the area a breeze. The spacious and comfortable home provided ample room for our group, with a layout that felt like a true home away from home. Highly recommend this place for a great beachside retreat with plenty of nearby activities!

Magnolia Cottage was amazing. The host was spot-on with everything. From the communication, to the spotless house itself, everything was perfect. We were questioning the price of our rental until we arrived. But, the house was 3 blocks from the beach, and EVERYTHING we needed was provided. From beach chairs with a cart to travel with, corn-hole, darts, bbq grill, fully stocked kitchen and bathrooms, and with such a beautiful setting, the house was truly set up to make everything easy for the renters. After experiencing everything that comes with it, and how well they took care of their place, the price was no longer in question. If you're looking for a place to get together with a few friends, or even a family of 5 or 6, look no further. This place was perfect, and we would love to come back. Thank you, Holly!

Great stay here! The playground and dog park were a quick walk away. We were also only 20 min walk from some of the downtown spots we enjoyed for lunch. Cute spot and had everything we needed, including cozy beds. Very dog friendly and lots of little touches to make it so. Thanks!

Leela was incredibly hospitable and kind. Due to a last minute emergency the trip almost had to be canceled. She was genuinely and authentically accommodating, understanding and caring. Gave excellent information and extremely responsive! The aerial pic was very helpful locating the house as cell service isn’t great depending on carrier, but exactly what was wanted on this trip! The house is quaint and the view is stunning! The vibe, privacy, fire pit, French doors and shower were also incredible! * This is my fault at not hers at all! I didn’t read the kitchen description as closely as I should have. So I thought toaster said toaster oven. It was also my first experience with a composting toilet which I did read. Neither was a bad experience just my own fault for not being better aware or fully understanding when booking. The views had me captivated/mesmerized when I booked! I only include to point out my failure not the hosts!* Overall could NOT ask for a better host/place!

Hal was very helpful and responsive. His place was exactly as described. As an aviation fanatic, I absolutely LOVED the spare room with the desk and the photos throughout the house. The house was clean and easy to find as well. Exactly as described. thank you!

SagaCity’s place was the perfect home for our last minute escape from Hurricane Milton. Great kitchen to cook, comfy bed, nice big TV, 15min from Savannah’s sightseeing. Communication was easy and super friendly. Thank you for being so kind Saga City.

I don’t want to write glowingly for fear that it will always be booked when I want to stay! Lol But alas, I must be honest and say it was perfection. It’s the best Airbnb I have stayed at. I am a clean freak, accommodations snob and this place checked all the boxes. It is hard to find a place in Savannah that doesn’t have old bathtubs and o was so happy with the showers! The decor was on point, adorable furnishings that were quality. Comfy beds and linens. Kitchenettes were great, although I never use the kitchens as we eat out. Loved that there were 4 TVs to accommodate every viewing angle. Everything was thought out well (every light fixture, plants, hooks, arrangement, you name it). This will be my place every year!

I came to Daufuskie for a solo trip to rest from a busy season of life and work. Jim and Paula’s place exceeded every expectation. It’s absolutely beautiful and charming! Karla is their house manager, and she was so helpful and kind. Daufuskie is remote, but there were delicious restaurants on the island. Karla can tell you all about them! Bring all of the groceries you’ll need with you-there aren’t really local grocery stores (there is a farmers market with fruit/veg/seafood/baked goods 1-2x/wk). Also, bring a headlamp with a red light (for sea turtle season). It gets very dark at night! Bug spray is a good idea, too. If you’re traveling with little ones who need to nap during the day, there aren’t blackout curtains. It’s so dark at night, it wasn’t an issue for me, but would have been challenging if I had a baby with me. Lastly, be prepared to feel your shoulders drop down, be in lots of peaceful quiet, and enjoy a beautiful place.

Excellent place to stay in Savannah. About 6 minutes from downtown driving. Neighborhood is peaceful and the place is so nicely decorated and comfortable. Went with 3 friends and we were comfortable and had a great time!. The lemon trees are so cool!

This is a charming cottage in a historic building in a great location in the historic center of town. Very comfortable and yet has the feel and character of a historic structure. My fuance and I really enjoyed our stay.

10/10 recommend this place! It was perfect for our family of 3 and we loved how the beach, some restaurants, the lighthouse, and the marine science center were walkable (about an 8 minute walk). Even though we got hit by Tropical Storm Debby, we still enjoyed our time at the cottage! Thankfully we didn’t lose power and there was no flooding in our area. Joey and Amelia were super responsive (Amelia kept us in the loop about weather) and so nice! They made things easy to check in and out as well as giving local recommendations for restaurants and such in Tybee and Savannah. We definitely would stay here again visiting Tybee Island!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Hosts were responsive and helpful. The location was perfect, we were right in the middle of everything. We enjoyed a very short walk to the beach, a kitchen ready for meals and peace and quiet in this cozy and cute beach shack. We will certainly return!
