Vacation rentals with lake access in South Bradenton

My family had an amazing week in this beautiful home! We loved the hot tub, pool, gorgeous views and sunrises. My sons enjoyed the nearby golf course and it was a short drive to Clearwater Beach, St. Pete's, Dunedin and Tarpon Springs. Thank you for a great stay!

Enjoyed our Stay!

The home was beautiful, clean, peaceful and comfortable. I really enjoyed the pool, the beds were very comfortable (important) and the master shower was awesome! Had a small problem with the freezer not freezing very well, but it was not a big deal. I only wish we could had stayed longer. It was just what I needed. Thanks Michael!

We stayed here over Thanksgiving with 7 kids, and it was absolutely perfect! There was so much room for everyone to spread out, and the backyard was truly an oasis. We enjoyed our entire Thanksgiving meal on the dock, which made for the most beautiful and memorable setup. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we could possibly need—even enough serving platters for a big holiday feast. It honestly felt like something straight out of a magazine. I specifically chose this home because of its cozy farmhouse and cottage vibe, and it exceeded all expectations. The attention to detail in every room was impeccable, and the outdoor space was ideal for accommodating our large family without feeling crowded. This home is everything you could ask for in a vacation rental. Its location is fantastic—everything we wanted to do was within 20 minutes. Plus, Rick’s on the River is just a 30-second walk away for delicious food in a fun atmosphere—a must-visit! Highly recommend!!

I can’t say enough about The Mermaid house!! The house itself is beautifully updated with a beachy theme! The outdoor could have a whole review on its own!! From watching tv on the lanai, swimming in the pool, the hot tub, fishing off the dock, watching dolphins swim right by us, and kayaking/paddle boarding through the bay!! We only stayed for part of our vacation because we were worried about the distance to the beaches we wanted to visit.. by the last day we were all saying we wished we stayed here the whole time! The drive to the beaches wasn’t bad at all and honestly you could spend your whole time at the house! Kristy was a great host and super quick responses with any questions. 100000% recommend!

Finding the house was very easy. Unlocking the door was very easy. Locking the door from the outside took a few tries to get the deadbolt in position. The house was very nice and in good condition. Kitchen was well stocked with appliances and kitchenware. Master bedroom was nice, but the electric outlets were difficult to get find. Outside needs a little love but overall in good shape and well landscaped. Inside decor was very Florida outdoorsy/surfer with some really interesting decor to look at and a cool hightop table to eat at. Taylor was a very good and responsive host. Had the house ready early and even let me stay a little later if needed. Checkout list was super easy to do. Overall I enjoyed my stay here and would consider staying again.

We really enjoyed our stay. This was my first time renting an Airbnb and I was a bit nervous. The house was easy to find, their directions were very clear and easy. I had one question for them and they were able to get back to me within a short time. I would definitely stay here again!

Large space, clean, and had everything we needed for our stay. Beautiful view and the pool was fantastic. Very proactive and welcoming hosts made our stay simple and easy. Would recommend and would stay here again.

This place is amazing. I’ve never seen such an equipped AirBnB before. Think about something, and you will find there. The area is also amazing, we saw dolphins and manatees right outside. It’s also very close to the beach. I definitely recommend this place.

Easy to communicate with, fast response, very nice updated place

Doris was an amazing host. Her Airbnb matched the description, and was super close to the beach without the ginormous price tag that usually accompanies the proximity. She was also very responsive, friendly, and even offered an earlier check-in! Would definitely recommend and will stay again if we're in the area!

A wonderful place to stay in a beautiful location. It was easy to find. Christian was really helpful and friendly. The dedicated parking space was really good as you didn’t have to worry about finding a parking spot when you return after a day out. Another useful feature was the onsite laundry and a washing line outside it. Definitely would recommend this property. Excellent value for money.

Wonderful location and wonderful hospitality.

Tim and Jeannie are the best hosts ever! Communication and local recommendations are top notch! If you are like us, you’ll be on the go because Saint Petersburg offers so much with arts, culture and outdoor recreation that most of the time was being out and about. However, when you get back, you’ll feel like you’re at home and everything you need is right there! Sleep in and eat breakfast at the cottage, come back early and watch a movie or hit the hot tub or just do another load of laundry and hit the beach one more time! It’s so convenient and the best location ever! Thank you Tim and Jeannie :)

The place is very nice, clean, and had everything we needed. It's practically brand new and is close to I-75, plenty of food options, and everything in Sarasota. The setting is beautiful with the pond, woods adjacent, and wildlife. I expected a more private setting based on the photos, but it's actually right next door to another house (we guess the owners). This was not an issue for us, and we did not feel that our privacy was invaded - just different than what we expected. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in the area.

Central Quiet Bright Cottage served my needs and allowed for me to be comfortable during my stay. The amenities were exactly what I needed, such as being able to cook dinners for myself to save money as well as wash clothes when needed. The host was very responsive to any concerns that I had and I would recommend Central Quiet Bright Cottage near Skyway Bridge to anyone that is looking for a home away from home within the Palmetto, Bradenton area.
