Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Sottomarina

So glad we came upon this property. We stayed in the self contained unit which was beautiful and private and fitted a family of 5 perfectly. We all had our own space to sleep. Lovely high ceilings with patio outside. Everything tastefully decorated. Marco was super friendly and fast to respond. Really appreciated use of the bikes and the kayaks. Had a fun day cycling along the canal and then kayaking. Also used the ping pong table!! Very easy to go to Venice by bus. Thank you again!!

I had an amazing stay at Fabio's place! The location was perfect, close to train station, and the space was exactly as described—clean, comfortable. Plus, Fabio was incredibly responsive.

this airbnb is great! the family met and greeted us, and allowed for early check in. it is located in the cannaregio neighborhood walkable everywhere and is away from the main tourist traps - which is awesome! there are restaurants right around the corner from the apartment which have amazing reviews. would love to stay here again!

We had a great stay at cozy house, the location was perfect for us as it’s right between the Giardini and Arsenale for the biennale. We arrived early and were allowed to leave our bags in the house and return later at check in which was so helpful. The kitchen was spotless and well stocked with essentials like oil, salt, and pepper. There were also some coffee pods and breakfast snacks for the first day. Each room also had an AC unit! The living area is slightly darker than we anticipated and unfortunately there was no tv but this was communicated to us prior and we were out exploring most of the time. Responsive hosts.

Our stay at Roberto's charming fisherman's cottage was perfect! Beautifully decorated - everything as in the pictures. We especially liked the layout (one room on each floor) and the fact that we had a very small cottage to ourselves. The fact that there are no doors between the individual floors did not bother us (3 adults). Roberto was always quick to reach and always helpful. Thank you for the lovely stay in Chioggia!

Thank you. For such a lovely stay in your house. It was truly fabulous. Everything that we needed was there, including condiments, coffee pods and dishwasher tablets. The communication with Irene was fabulous and she was there to welcome us. This was lovely because she showed us around the house. Irene, was available all the time and we even checks out slightly later, which was really helpful. We have been ti Venice many times and we thoroughly enjoyed staying in this area. It was so close to all the attractions but at night time it was so peaceful - which was great. The garden area was lovely and I sat outside each morning and had coffee. A great stay in Venice I thank you once again.

Highly recomended place. We had a great experience at Ariana's house, the apartment was clean and had all the amenities that were listed. She and her husband were supersupportive. I would love to go there again if I get a chance to visit italy again.

Perfect location for everything you want to see in Venice. Our travel in from the train station was easy in part to the great directions from the host, and the apartment was walking distance from everything. We ate at an excellent restaurant within a 2 minute walk, and multiple Vaporetto stops also within a 2 minute walk. The. host went above and beyond to help us during our trip and we would recommend this apartment, and would book again in the future!

We enjoyed our stay in Venice. The apartment was just as described. The bed was comfortable and it had everything we needed. We were able to walk to everything and never used our transportation pass. We would stay there again.

Beautiful apartment a few meters from St. Mark's Square. Unbeatable location, walking distance to the main touristic points of Venice. The apartment is super comfortable, very nice and bright. It's very well equipped. You really feel like you in a home. Donatella greeted us personally and gave us very useful directions. We were already in Venice before on this same airbnb and if I came back I would definitely rent it again.

Martina’s apartment was such a wonderful place for our recent visit to Venice. Located just round the corner from the Rialto Bridge, it was the perfect base for our family. The apartment was super easy to find and was clean and comfortable. I absolutely loved the balcony in our bedroom. From the outset, Martina was so helpful and we were really delighted that we had the opportunity to meet on the day we were checking out. Her advice and local knowledge was great. There was a lot of helpful information provided in the apartment too! The area itself is brilliant - with some of the best restaurants located just a few minutes walk away. The next time we’re back in Venice, we’ll definitely be staying at Martina’s place…😊

the aârtùeent is well located, near vaporetto's stations, restaurants and a supermarket. The apartment is well maintained, quiet and really comfortable for 4 people. I recommend it.

Perfect for a short or a long stay. Peaceful friendly neighbourhood but easy to find all other areas of interest in Venice. The apartment was warm, comfortable, matched all descriptions in the advert. We stayed for 4 weeks and enjoyed the feeling of 'coming home' at the end of each day. Elena met us on arrival, communicated ideas of interest to us during our stay, and made check out very straightforward. We would go again.

Great location! close to Piazza San Marco, close enough to the rialto, convenient to enjoy Venice. Stroll down the streets. Apartment where you feel good, cozy, very well furnished, 2 shower rooms, 2 keys, comfortable beds., 2 bedrooms including one with 2 single, convenient for children Apartment with a view of a cute little bridge, quiet In short, super charming! We would definitely recommend it. The hosts are super responsive, thoughtful. It's a pleasure to connect with them.

The stay was great, very close to the main points of the city. It is located in a busy street, next to it has a restaurant and souvenir shops. Very organized the apartment The inconvenience was to climb to the second floor when she arrived tired of a long day, but it's a part! Informing them to consider when coming with the elderly/people with mobility , my mother had no problems. The host was great, gave all the instructions and always responded carefully. Everything is very functional and organized. I only suggest that you include in the rental fee the government charge of €6.00 per day of stay, even if it makes the rent more expensive to do so.

Giulio organized the arrival very well, sent accurate instructions, his son picked us up from the Vaporetto station, and brought us into the apartment, and explained everything; The apartment can be reached on the 2nd floor by narrow stairs, for 2 people it was very good; it is located in a quiet alley near Via Garibaldi, perfect for biennale, between Giardini and Arsenale; the bathroom is very small, especially the shower, but still functional. Two small noise topics: the windows stop hardly any noise, due to the quiet area it is little problem, and also sometimes nice if you hear the school children walking through the alley in the morning and chatting; in the apartment, the bedroom is only separated from the living room by a folding door, hardly stops noise, and can only be opened and closed by noise. Well heatable, functional kitchen, Venice books; great terrace, we were still able to have lunch in the sun every day on the terrace in November; overall highly recommended

Beatrice was very helpful in setting us up with suggestions for visiting Venice as well as meeting us and showing us the way to her home!! We had a couple of amazing meals based on her suggestions! Home is in a great, walkable location. Bed was a bit firm for us but other than that, great stay!! Thanks again!!

A beautiful place with a with an amazing view. Booked for a milestone birthday of my husband. He woked up early to watch the morning boat traffic on Grand Canal from the window of our appartement !!! We loved the neighborhood, too. Laura went above and beyond, recommending restaurants and transport options in Venise. She even called a restaurant to book for us which was impossible for me (no replies on the phone/ by messages). We had a great time in Venise thanks to Laura’s tips and her lovely place. We totally recommend for an authentic, non touristy experience of Venise !

amazing location, great amenities in the flat. do know though you are first floor and the main bedroom opens up right to the courtyard! lock your windows :)
