Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Solana Beach

This house is beautiful. We came for a wedding in the area & needed a place for the family and 2 small dogs. The exterior was incredible (check listing photos). The house was a great place with lotus of room. The game room was a hit with the kids. They even left a chocolate bar with a welcome card for me. We had some guests who were equally impressed. I only wished we could have stayed longer and enjoy the outdoor area more. Highly recommend this place.

The home was perfect! It is very well supplied and very walkable to the beach. The house was clean and comfortable for 6 adults. We enjoyed playing the board games at night. Definitely would stay here again next time visiting Carlsbad.

We needed a last-minute place near family in San Diego during the holidays, and this spot was perfect for us. The neighborhood was quiet, safe, and ideal for a stay with a baby. The home was clean, comfortable, and exactly what we needed. The host Naomi was very nice and responsive.

Ken's place was just perfect for our family. if you are traveling with small kids, this is the place to be. It is a short drive from all the major tourist spots, lots of good eating options around and plenty of fun toys for kids to play with when you are at home.

Great Airbnb - we had a fantastic time. We were 2 families with 3 kids and there were lots of activities, toys, and beach toys for the young kids. The place was also a stone’s throw from the beach which was awesome. Super communicative and proactive hosts. Thank you! P.s. the surround sound for the TV is awesome 🔥

Second time staying here. Love this place as it has everything one would want or need. Location is excellent, easy walk to main town area and beach. Jim and Sha are great hosts and flexible. Helped us with a couple things very easily. Would definitely recommend for anyone wanting to experience OB.

Rachel was a great host and very good at communicating and ensuring our stay was comfortable. Great location and easy to get anywhere you need. She was fast to respond and keep us informed of things when needed. Will stay again when we come back to the area.

I stayed here for a conference and found it met my needs well. This place is conveniently located near the town center, making it easy to catch Uber rides to the beaches & restaurants. It is a very cozy space, and though I missed having a TV, I was out most of the day, so the affordable price made it worthwhile. The owner is very responsive to questions, and the area feels safe—I had no issues during my stay. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable spot for a short trip!

Had a great stay!

We loved our stay at this property. The bunk room for the kids was large and had plenty of space. The bathroom was very clean and modern -- great shower :) The location was perfect for us -- walkable to all the beaches around the bay and an easy 5-10 minute drive to everything else we wanted to do. Super safe neighborhood. Mary and Tony were extremely welcoming and helpful. One of our best stays ever!

Loved our stay here. Short walk to the beach and to shopping. Neighbors were very helpful with recommendations. Place was cozy. Fans in each bedroom!! Enjoyed our stay!!

We stayed at Lindsey’s place while our daughters were playing in the Surf Cup at Oceanside. The location is great. Short driving distance to most places that you want to go in the area. The complex has many amenities such as pool, hot tub, exercise room. The unit is spacious and has everything you need. We would definitely stay again! Thanks Lindsey!

I Can't say enough about Tracey's place; it was clean, well stocked, and a great location. Easily walkable to plenty of breakfast/lunch places and a few dinner spots. Belmont Park and all its activities are an 8 minute walk. Beach is a short jaunt across Mission boulevard and the Bay is even closer. It is a little warm for sleeping with no A/C but when the living room door is open there's a great cross breeze!! The planes do fly above early in the am, but there's earplugs on the nightstand that we took full advantage of. Great local spots nearby; the Beachcomber bar is one block away with dueling pianos on Thursdays; super fun local hangout!! Parking spot is tight; we had a Toyota Camry and it fit snugly so just be aware of your car size! Highly recommend this spot to anyone considering it!!

Nicholas’s apartment was the perfect find for my Southwrn California getaway. The apartment was spacious, clean and very comfortable, and the view of the ocean from the pool was just what I had hoped for! A perfect spot to relax during the day and watch the sunset in the evening. Great restaurants and shops in walking distance, free parking, gracious staff - all around perfect!

great location the views are amazing very high quality the home had everything a large family would need to enjoy...everyone in my family had such a great time that small walk to the beach and the times we spent together was so memorable we will never forget how special of a place this airbnb truly is.

This condo was in the perfect location to the beach as well as a short walk to restaurants. I had a comfortable stay and the host was responsive to the requests I had.

Had a lovely one week stay over Christmas holidays. Great location, walkable, safe, and the apartment and kitchen are well stocked for a week long stay. Communication was seamless! Khoi is very responsive and helpful.

Susan’s residence was perfect. The location was amazing, it was clean, as well as affordable. When I arrived, I was unsure where to pick the keys up, but Susan responded immediately and helped me locate them. I would recommend Susan’s residence.

Jesse was extremely proactive in reaching out to me to confirm my early arrival request. He was very clear with his directions and instructions and prompt to respond when I reached out to him. The unit was exactly as described and not only checked off all of the boxes that we had, but included some additional bonuses. Great value, right off the beach, first floor, washer and dryer included, with two parking spaces. That is pretty much unheard of in that area! Should I need accommodations in San Diego again, I will absolutely reach out to inquire if Jesse's place is available again.

Very cozy and extremely safe area for those looking to stay in San Diego. If I were to book another trip to San Diego, it would be here hands-down. Love this place!
