Vacation rentals with a kayak in Sogn og Fjordane

We had a great stay in Anders's house. Due to bad weather we enjoyed the house even more, it had everything we need and we felt at home. Anders was really responsible and helpful. Bergen is close for easy visiting. Definitely recommendation!

It was very pleasant and easy to communicate with Benedicte both upon reservation and during the stay. I reserved the apartment on behalf of my colleagues. They had everything they needed and felt right at home. Would highly recommend!

We had an great stay at this lovely house! Everything was as described, if not better. The location was perfect for our trip to Norway, and the house was clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The host was very accommodating and quick to respond to any questions, which made our stay enjoyable. The hospitapily was outstanding.

Staying here was an incredible experience. My wife and I were in awe of the spectacular views of the tranquil fjord, the snow-capped mountains around us, and the gushing waterfall next to the house. We used the kitchen a lot during our stay and immediately fell in love with it. It is the best stocked airbnb kitchen we have come across. Cooking in it felt so natural and everything was easy to find. The living room was also a highlight- it is spacious and, as the description says, it easily fits several guests but it still felt cozy with only us two. And of course, the hot tub was perfect to relax in on cold and windy evenings as the sun went down. It is clear Hans and Emily have put so much care and thoughtfulness into making this cabin a home for their guests. Their attentiveness extends beyond the house too and when the conditions were right to see the northern lights, they eagerly messaged us to make sure we didn't miss it. Every moment we spent here was a delight.

We had 10 wonderful days at this place. It was pretty huge, very cozy and had everything we could need to live there. We could also start different trips every day to go hiking, fishing, exploring the Dovrefjell or visiting Ålesund for one day. The Northern Lights at the last evening directly in front of and over our garden have been the perfect ending for a great time in this magical area. Even when the weather got a bit more worse we just lightened up the fireplace, started cooking fish soup and had a cozy, calming day at home during the storm. Vilde was very friendly, communicative and always open to get in touch with us for any ideas or questions. Thanks for having us and all the best!

Excellent! House on the shore of the fjord, with very good living conditions. The kitchen is equipped! The views from the windows are simply gorgeous! We rate communication with the owner as the highest possible score. A wonderful airbnb experience! Trude, the hostess of the house, is a super woman! She always came to the rescue, advised, consulted. I will forever remember our walk with her. And I will definitely return to this house again. My recommendations! We had a very pleasant stay in the beautiful Sognfjord. The house had everything we needed for the whole family with two kids (7 yr and 10 month). Charming old cabin modernly equipped. The location is just amazing with great view into the Fjord, quiet but not to far from shops. We got very clear instructions about the house and useful sightseeing tips.

A pretty house near Solvorn and therefore the Ferry to visit the church of Urnes. The house is large and nice with a large garden and space to park. The nearby Spar is right next door for shopping! The washing machine and dryer are a real plus! Torger and Marthe are very responsive which is nice if we have a question!

Authentic, rural and cozy. Close to beautiful nature, water, forest and mountains. No close shopping opportunities, then you should have a car.

We absolutely loved our stay at Tove’s house. In a world of cookie cutter houses which all look the same, Tove’s place stands out as a whimsical charming home with a lot of character. And her little cat who we willingly welcomed in whenever he visited added to the whole experience! We felt right at home, and everything was beautiful and warm. We were happy to use all the different sitting areas and loved the little artefacts around the house and also in the little sun room. The beds were comfortable, there was a fair amount of storage and the bathroom was huge and well equipped. All the amenities were available. The area around is great for short walks and it’s a quick car ride to many great restaurants at the city centre. We will definitely love to come back here! And stay longer :)

A house with a lot of history in the beautiful timber walls, tastefully mixed with modern comfort and classic furniture. The house has a unique location and beautiful views, very nice garden with fruit trees and herbs, a very comfortable little sauna, good kayaks, own pebble beach and jetty, as well as a warm patio with fireplace. The house has everything our family of five needed to have some active days by the fjords and mountains.

Beautiful complete cottage. Very quiet location. It was also great that we could use the kayaks and bicycles.

100% recommended! If you want to relax in an enchanting place, you should travel to Trude. Whether in sunshine or rain. We always felt comfortable. It was a dream to see the sun rise with the great panorama. The house has all you need to feel comfortable. You can also do hikes and excursions. Thank you for the wonderful days.

This was our first time in Norway and we couldn’t be happier with our accommodations. Hanne and her husband met us at the property and showed us around. They were very responsive during our stay with questions about places to go. We had a boat for the duration of our stay and Hanna’s husband also allowed us to use crab / lobster pots to catch crabs and he showed us how to prepare and cook them. Great people and an amazing property and location. You won’t be disappointed if you stay here. We will be back!

We had a wonderful trip and stay. The house is an absolute dream and just as beautiful as in the pictures. We felt very comfortable, like at home. The location is perfect, quiet and beautiful. Our host Linda is very attentive and friendly, we will be back very soon. That was my best Norway experience so far :)

Hans Olav’s cabin was great for a weekend away in the mountains. It’s at the end of a road, so it felt nice and private. And inside was super comfortable, and we felt at home right away. We were two couples with our dogs, so having the annex (which was also cozy on its own) was ideal for more space, as well as there being plenty of room between the main cabin and the annex for the dogs to play, which was a bonus! Plus there were lots of beautiful walks with amazing views walking distance from the cabin so there was plenty to do and explore nearby.

Lovely « cabane » in the Norwegian mountains! Well equiped with premium ans high end furnitures, materials and tech equipments, the cabane is very nice and exactly like the pictures. We really enjoyed our stay! You can go hiking the mountain directly from the cabane, we really appreciated it. Monica did everything possible to make our stay comfortable, including very nice attentions for our 2 little girls. Thanks a lot!! Just be aware that the access by vehicle is not that easy, a 4x4 or a SUV-like vehicule is needed (we had a 9-seater and we did not have troubles to reach the cabane).

We have had lakeside rentals all our lives, and NONE compare to THIS ONE. (Warning: USE THE MAP LINK SHE SENDS YOU. Regular GPS systems will look right, but may be wrong.) Marianne & Roy have thought of EVERYTHING, from a full kitchen to extra towels, and décor to make you fall in love, with details in every nook and cranny. Large grocery stores are only a 10 min drive (if you can pull yourself away). Roy met us at the door (even though we were late, due to GPS) and walked us through the whole property, showed us hiking maps, the best lure for fishing (already attached!), and had a detailed binder in several languages for FAQs! They are gracious, communicative, and welcoming. The lake is INCREDIBLE and feels private and peaceful. There are little streams and waterfalls at every turn. The gorgeous pictures online are not only accurate - they undersell. If you get the chance, sleep in the annex early in your stay - you may decide it's where you want to be from then on. :)
