Vacation rentals with a kayak in Norway

The place is absolutely idyllic. If you want to feel like living in a botanical garden and fruit garden with own lake and boat, with unbelievable view, this is your place. Two more features that are very precious nowadays - silence and darkness. You can observe Milky Way and millions of stars from terrace. And all this in absolute silence, similar to what I experienced last time in my grandma’s timber cabin 40 years ago.

We had the most incredible stay at Monica and Vidar’s place in Flo! The house was absolutely amazing, equipped with every amenity you could possibly think of, including everything needed for a baby - a bed, a high chair, and more. It truly felt like they thought of everything to make our stay comfortable. Monica and Vidar are outstanding hosts who went above and beyond. When snow covered the area, they even brought slides for us to enjoy - it was such a thoughtful touch! The house itself was super warm and cozy, and the views from every window were absolutely breathtaking. We were incredibly fortunate to witness the Northern Lights during our stay, which made the experience even more magical. We visited during New Year’s, and Monica and Vidar had decorated the house beautifully - it felt so festive and welcoming. Our group consisted of three families, and everyone was delighted. We had a fantastic stay at Lasse’s place! The apartment was lovely—spacious, well-equipped with all the amenities we needed, and the views were just stunning. It was a great base for exploring Bergen and the surrounding areas, and the location worked really well for us. Lasse was a great host, super helpful with local recommendations which made our trip even more enjoyable. The place was also really family-friendly, which was a big plus—we even spent a fun day at the nearby Vannkanten Waterworld with the kids. All in all, a wonderful stay and we’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking to explore Bergen!

Staying here was an incredible experience. My wife and I were in awe of the spectacular views of the tranquil fjord, the snow-capped mountains around us, and the gushing waterfall next to the house. We used the kitchen a lot during our stay and immediately fell in love with it. It is the best stocked airbnb kitchen we have come across. Cooking in it felt so natural and everything was easy to find. The living room was also a highlight- it is spacious and, as the description says, it easily fits several guests but it still felt cozy with only us two. And of course, the hot tub was perfect to relax in on cold and windy evenings as the sun went down. It is clear Hans and Emily have put so much care and thoughtfulness into making this cabin a home for their guests. Their attentiveness extends beyond the house too and when the conditions were right to see the northern lights, they eagerly messaged us to make sure we didn't miss it. Every moment we spent here was a delight.

we had a great time staying at Arilds . house is well equipped , clean, warm. enjoyed sauna in the evening , had a swim in a sea . Views are just breathtaking. cought few fish of the jetty. Rented a big boat for a couple of days . boat is in very good condition, reliable good on fuel . hope to be back soon . 5 🌟

Family of five plus a dog who had a great time at Hidra. The house is beautifully located by the sea, so here you can take the morning bath right from the jetty. Extra stas it was with the lambs in the garden to top the Easter vibe. Highly recommend 😊

This place is a gem! The setting is truly phenomenal with magnificent views and the frozen lake allowed us to experience a magical stay! We were also able to use the sauna and the jacuzzi, it was really the icing on the cake! A huge thank you for your time and this unforgettable stay!

Tor is the best host because he us thoughtful, helpful, and caring. Our family loved our snow days in his home because it was warm, cozy, and felt like home. Tor provided some fish he caught from the fjord for us to have and it was wonderful. This is the best overall stay my family has had in 4 international vacations. We hope to return for summer. We all slept so well in the cozy beds. The views were unbelievable. We enjoyed playing cards and chess. Kitchen is very well stocked and grocery store is 10 minutes away. HIGHLY recommend Tor and his summer home.

Nina is a very lovely host. She responds immediately and helped us with finding activities and things to do in the area. She also invited us over for some mulled wine and prepared a bonfire for us. The view from the house is amazing, the interior is cosy, perfect for a cosy getaway

Had a peaceful, wonderful getaway weekend with my partner. Helpful, proactive hosts who seemed to enjoy us enjoying their home in silence. We also got to borrow a canoe! :)

We spent a week in winter in this lovely cottage, and already want to book again! The cabin was perfect for our family of four. We lit up the wood-burning stove (thanks for the firewood), made pancakes, played games, and slept really well after long days out in the snow in the good weather. In the morning, you stood up to the most beautiful view. In the frost weather, we could scrape an ice rink for ourselves on the ice on the lake. And we drove the 45 minutes to Aurdal and ski several days. Best winter vacation we've had. Thank you Marcus! Top winter getaway

Both me and the kids enjoyed ourselves at the cabin, too bad it was rain the whole period but we got to use the sauna and there we enjoyed ourselves. Jumped in the snow and quickly into the sauna:)

Great views, great place, nice to walk around. Easy to check in, parking close to hoyse. N.b. just to note a small minus- lots of owners things in wardrobes, so you will have to keep your things in the luggage 🙂 But would still recommend this place!

The house was incredible! It was the Christmas time so we even had Christmas tree in the house and decorations. The house had everything we needed. Very clean and decorated very well. It was so cozy and we loved staying there. Madeleine was easy to communicate and even helped us when we couldn’t find the house. :) We would definitely consider coming back here. We had a really nice skiing holiday starting from Sveinung's cabin on the mountain. It took 5 minutes to drive to Haukeli Skisenter, alternatively there was a ski-in/out route we never explored. The cabin was huge and really well-stocked, there was nothing missing, and you could clearly sense that Sveinung's approach to its hosting role is to ensure happy guests. We enjoyed the great space of the house, homey comfort (baby bed, high chairs, TV, DVDs and games/toys). Thank you so much for a lovely holiday!
