The house off the beaten track. If you want be totally alone in the woods in a house steeped in history, this is the place. Most of the inventory is historically and intact. A mini museum. Close by the house runs a river where you can fish small trout or swim. There are several nice waterfalls close by. Hiking trails up the mountain starts just 200 m from the house. Mountain cabin in Trodla-Tysdal after 3 hours hike

Trodla-Tysdal has been a tourist destination for hikers since 1892. Tourists have to walk for appox. 3 hours (7 km) from Kleivaland parking place. There is no driving road to Trodla-Tysdal. Trodla-Tysdal means the valley of the Norwegian Trolls due the wilderness and dramatic nature. In 1996 Reidunn and Kjell built a tourist cabin for hikers. In 1998 in addition a small private cabin. In 2017 this small cabin was renewed and now it is possible to book this small cabin for you.

Originally built in 1792, this Pocket House was once named "Smallest House in Bergen" by the local media. Situated in calm Sandviken the city center is a 5 minute bus ride or a 10 minute bike ride away. Idol place for powder key drivers. “Nice cabin with a wonderful view over the Hafslo-Lake. Ernst is a really nice host, his wife and Ernst show us everything about the cabin and we also get firewood. In the cabin you have everything you need!”
