I had a wonderful time at this cozy and spacious house! The location was perfect, close enough to other houses on the street, but also extremely private and overlooks the forest. I booked this trip specifically to play the piano and this house created the perfect atmosphere for it! It was relatively easy to get to without a car. There is an Albert Heijn 15 mins away and the dunes / forest are also easily reachable by foot. What really made this stay special for me was Kirsten’s hospitality. She had everything prepared for me, was super flexible for check-in and check-out times and even offered to pick me up from the station when I arrived. I was welcomed quite warmly and soon realized that the house was very nicely prepared. Aside from the nice welcome note and chocolate, my breakfast was already taken care of: you could find eggs, milk, some drinks, bread, jams, pancake mix and many snacks. It’s such a nice touch and gave me a 5 star hotel experience. I will definitely be back!

Very nice accommodation. Well located to discover Utrecht and Amersfoort. Outdoor space and sauna are two very nice assets.

I had the pleasure of staying at Jan and Tiny’s guesthouse for 31 nights, and it was a truly memorable experience. The house is nestled in a peaceful, natural setting that provides an incredible sense of calm and serenity. Surrounded by beautiful landscapes, it’s the perfect place to relax and unwind, or to focus on work and personal projects in a tranquil environment. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and comfortable. Jan and Tiny were attentive hosts, always responsive and eager to help, making sure I had everything I needed throughout my stay. The guesthouse itself is thoughtfully designed, cozy, and equipped with everything necessary for a comfortable, extended stay. For anyone seeking a peaceful retreat to connect with nature, this is an ideal spot. I leave with wonderful memories and a deep sense of appreciation for the time I spent here.
