Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Smokvica

Nenad and family could not have been more friendly and helpful, going out of their way to explain the best walking routes as well as giving us a lift to the port. Location was perfect for us, right in the centre of the National Park surrounded by forest and wildlife. Very good local restaurant in walking distance. We had a brilliant stay.

We loved staying at Slaven’s place near Vela Luka. It was an amazing, tranquil location with no one else around. The best part was swimming in the crystal clear water right next to the house. Like other reviewers have said - we’d love to keep this special place secret. Korcula is a beautiful island and the old town is absolutely stunning. We loved that due to the islands remote location the island remains fairly quiet even in the height of summer. Slaven was an absolutely fantastic host and really made us feel welcome. We can’t recommend this location enough!

We really enjoyed staying at Marins place. Marin is very friendly and polite. We got an upgrade as one of the flats on first floor was available. So we can not comment on this flat specifically. The house consists of four flats sharing the garden and pool. Be aware that the heating of the pool may be turned off, so if that matters to you I recommend you to ask Marin in advance. First week of October we ended up at the beach instead as the temperature in the sea was nice. The children really enjoyed cuddling with Marins small and friendly dog. Will definitely come back if we are going to Makarska again.

Thanks for everything, we had a great time. The place is beautiful and we really enjoyed the large terrace as well as the small cove at the bottom of the house for swimming.

we spent wonderful days at oxaland. it is an enchanting place and everything was just perfect, there is nothing we missed. oxa and her husband are wonderful people who do everything for the good of their guests. we can only recommend this magical place, the danger is - that we will come again! thank you oxa for everything!!! 100% top!! oliver and family

Marin's apartment was wonderful! The beach front was our favorite part. Marin was a super helpful host. We got a flat tire and he was right there to help us along the way. The old town was gorgeous. we would definitely stay again.

This place is amazing and so are the hosts. Soon after our arival Miljenko's parents Zdravko and Ana greeted us and showed us around. During our stay they were always available and communicative with any of our needs. They also occasionally brought us some fruits from local farmers. This unit location is excellent because it takes about 5 minutes to walk to main street and closest beach. It's very quiet and private place with nice garden. Overall, we were very pleased during our vacation here.

We had a pleasant stay. The place is intimate but remains close to places of tourist activity. The real plus of this property is its exceptional view of the sea and the sunset

We booked the house very spontaneously and were mega happy that we found it! Our teenagers, us and the dog were super satisfied. Our big priorities are: cleanliness, large pool, fenced area with lots of privacy, two bathrooms and three bedrooms (as our boys (15/18) don't want to sleep together)... It's not always easy to find these criteria. And here we found it and were very happy with everything! Especially all the little things and all the essentials have turned it off. We didn't miss anything. Many thanks for this! During the stay it burned near Split and we were notified and informed by the landlady in time. So we felt very safe and welcome.

We had a great time. The apartment is quiet with beautiful sea views. Clean and well-equipped accommodation. The kids loved the pool. Ana and her family are super nice and always available if needed.

The amenities at the villa were perfect & all we could ask for as a family wanting a week to relax! The villa & grounds were well maintained & it was a great space! During the time in which we were at the Villa, the owner Kate was very attentive & helpful - their home was beautiful! Gata is a beautiful village & area of Croatia. The Villa for us was perfect in terms of location; Omiš was a 20min drive, although there is a local supermarket in Gata. We visited Dubrovnik, which took 2.5hrs & Split 40mins. Wonderful, both the surroundings and the property. Everything a family of four needs. Great house, super swimming pool and amazing views! We will be happy to come back.

The destination was really great. The house was new. We were eight adults and four children under school age. We spent 10 days there. Great rooms were found for everyone and there were still rooms left over. There was a lot for the children to do (water park, swimming pool, jacuzzi, playground, trampoline, etc.), which is of course also important for adults to enjoy themselves. The tennis court was really nice, because we are an active family and the court was used for several hours every day. There was also a gym and a sauna so dear to us Finns. Even though the destination was inland, it only took about 30 minutes to drive to the beach. We went to the beach many days. Makarska, Baska Voda and Brela had great beaches. Ante was helpful and I always got an answer to all my questions. They even got basic food items for breakfast at our request since we arrived late on the first day. Bicycle rental and many other things can also be handled through Ante. Highly recommended!

Wow! What a villa! If you want a peaceful, private, idyllic setting for a holiday then look no further. The pictures simply don’t do this property justice! Petra was helpful throughout and very responsive - an amazing host! Excellent facilities including private pool and outdoor cooking area perfect for 4/5 people! A car is essential as the property is high on a mountain side, which can also attract a few clouds in the mornings - but doesn’t impact your holiday at all. We had an amazing holiday and would recommend this property to anyone! Thank you Petra & Family for the opportunity to stay at your wonderful villa! The Winter Family x

Felt like a home from home, lots of lovely touches like homemade jams and olive oil (which was very tasty). Both the terrace and loggia were great to relax in, and the local host Sanja was really helpful. Can recommend to anyone who wants to visit this lovely town on the island of Brac.

The place is better than on the pictures. Amazing view and terrace. Inside was very clean and had everything I needed, including being able to cook. The location itself is extremely peaceful which is increasingly more difficult to find these days in Croatia - yet there are good food options, wine stores (the one on the main road is my preferred), and a small grocery store (but has all the basic needs) and bakery within 1 minute. Above all what stood out is how quick Rado is to communicate and how nice and professional he is. Overall great value and exceptional stay!

Zlatko was always approachable. We met in the center of vela Luka and drove to the accommodation together. A fruit basket , water, O juice and milk were provided for us, which was very helpful as we arrived on Sunday evening

Very nice accommodation to stay, you can completely unwind there. The only neighbors you have is a neighbor with her dog and many neighbor cats who occasionally come by for some attention ( the dog and cats). Ivan will send you a clear instruction in advance on how to get to the accommodation. In addition, if you want advice about the skywalk and restaurant nearby. In addition, Ivan can often be reached quickly and any problems will be resolved quickly. We had a fantastic stay with Ivan.

We thoroughly enjoyed the stay. Ante and his parents are exceptionally warm hosts! They made the time as pleasant as possible for us and we are very grateful for that!

The place had everything. It was in a beautiful location. Peaceful. High quality villa, and had everything you needed whilst you stayed. (Very practical too) We would return to this gorgeous place again. Tomislav was super responsive whenever we had a question and he helped guide us to the answer. The villa is a very relaxing place. My kids loved playing in the clear water bay on a paddle board and snorkelling. Afterwards they would have fun in the pool whilst we prepared dinner in a lovely outdoor dining area. The photos don’t really get across how nice it is. Having air con in all rooms was a treat due to the heights of summer. The place was extremely clean when we arrived and we treated this special place like home. I would recommend a car to get to Milna the local marina town, and further a field to visit places. We also took a boat trip out to visit the various islands. It was so pretty, with emerald green oceans and ‘to die for’ sunsets.

Ivana is a very nice and friendly person who told us about the neighborhood and recommended places and attractions that we should see and use of which we used :-) .The apartment is very clean and consistent with the photos, and the view from the terrace is just wonderful ,we ate breakfast and dinner on it and we drank coffee , the photos do not fully reflect the charm - we stayed in the view of the mountains and the sea :-)The villa is located at the very top of the village, and as a result, the distance to the sea is walkable by stairs going down the street for me and husband the stairs were quite tiring but for my son at all. However, we preferred to walk to the village in the evenings and drive to the beach, Ivana recommended beautiful beaches just 5km from Pisak. We recommend and are very happy :-)

Everything we needed for a nice stay close to nature in this beautiful place. Very peaceful and relaxing sitting by the fruit trees watching the waves. Dusko the host gave us the warmest of welcomes, helped us to arrive by car, buy supplies and chatted with us over home made produce. So lovey to be near the sea, a very special time for us.
