Cabin vacation rentals in Smith River

If you’re looking for an ocean front place, this is it! Perfect size balcony with hot tub. With easy private beach access for those staying in this cabin. Restaurants are a short ten minute drive north or south of Highway 101. Kitchen is really quick with every thing you need for cooking as well full size fridge. Bathroom was clean with included shampoo and conditioner. Room on main level was great, with additional two twin beds on loft that a young adult is able to climb about seven stairs,with low ceilings. Love the DVD and VHS collection if you’re looking to relax and watch a movie. Beautiful ocean view day and night!

We had a lovely stay in Cabin 3 and are already hoping to come back annually. To be oceanfront with practically a private beach was heaven!

White Rock Resort is a great place to stay if you want a quiet space with excellent ocean views within proximity of the Redwoods. Their service is excellent and responsive and check-in was a breeze. We stayed here for one night as a quick family getaway and everyone really enjoyed themselves. The views from cabin #20 feel panoramic from the living and dining rooms. And from the hot tub on the deck, sunset over the ocean was just as stunning as the star-filled night sky that followed. All in all, White Rock Resort was a great place to stay with fun areas to explore nearby. I'm sure our family will be back!

This is the second time we have stayed here and we love it just as much as the first time

Absolutely beautiful location and the cabin was exactly as described - very comfortable, clean and warm. It was fabulous to wake up and look out the window at the forest right outside. James was incredibly helpful and friendly. He went out of his way to find out about local trail conditions before our arrival following some horrendous weather and provided great guidance. Highly recommend

This is the third time that my boyfriend and I have stayed at Shane and Laurie's cabin and we absolutely love it! It's a beautiful location right on a gorgeous river, it has all the basic amenities for cooking and cleaning, is cozy and warm in a rainstorm and conveniently located to the most spectacular old growth redwood hikes. A dream!

I am looking forward to staying again. Though it wasn’t beach front it was nice and private. It is a beautiful place to stay. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. The private beach was beautiful too…

Bridget’s house was perfect for my family! The house itself has everything you need and the property is beautiful with lots of outdoor seating. The location is amazing next to the smith river and Jedidiah state park. I highly recommend this place!

Stayed here for one night and it was beautiful. Felt very private, the trees were beautiful (especially in the rain!), and the picnic table behind the house was a nice touch.

Likely once an incredible location, severe fire damage has affected the roads, the views, and the work that Dan has put into the place. And it is an incredible amount of work, the place has amazing buildings with incredible mosaics, a beautiful community that is quietly thriving even in winter after such a setback. The amount of fire damage was truly shocking to me, coming from a more northern region of the US where we don't often get such extreme damage. I would have to amend his recommendations on the road, it's stable but much affected by fire damage and mud coming down the mountain. Trees have and certainly will keep falling across the road over the next few years, take it very slow as the edges are steep. Everything and everyone we met were warm and friendly but we missed the host! I would love to stay here again in the summer to see the activity in full swing and maybe even be a part of the recovery.

My family and I had a wonderful time. The cabin was just perfect for us. We loved the beautiful view of the ocean and it was such a nice beach perfect walking distance right from the deck.

This was exactly what we were looking for, away from the city, up in a nice mountain, clear view of the beautiful night sky. We even saw shooting stars form there. I would definitely recommend.

This is our family’s 3rd year staying here and every year is better than the last. It’s always a great time the house is clean and host is responsive. Quick walk down to the private beach is always a plus for us!

This place is a short drive up from Crescent City. It was perfect for our family get away at the beach. The cabin has a lovely deck with a great hot tub and ocean view. We had the most beautiful sunset while we were there. The beach access is just for guests and the beach is lovely. Great for walking along. We saw bird and two seals in the ocean. It was perfect, we will be back.

I loved the cabin in the woods. James gave us very specific directions to his cabin and we appreciated it very much because it was pouring down rain when we arrived.

Highly recommend for exploring the Redwoods. Adorable cabin tucked in a forest and close enough to Crescent City to get everything you need.
