Perfect spot for a beach getaway! Host was super responsive and willing to help with every single question and request. The location was ideal for many reasons but top 2 - right by the highway but not close enough for extreme noise. Clean, well-equipped space with everything we needed. Even perfect for a night in by the fire pit. Loved Would definitely stay again!

I had never been to Buckroe Beach and booked this lovely place to go see a concert at Hampton Coliseum with some friends. What a find!! 3 minute walk to a beautiful boardwalk and beach, 20 minute (with wait) ride to the coliseum, well appointed house with plenty of room for our group, but could have easily handled more. Clean, great response from the host, and very comfortable. we are already planning our next trip not around a concert, but around this location. highly recommend!

This is a lovely house within easy walking distance of the heart of Cape Charles. We loved being able to walk to the New Year’s Eve Crab Pot drop on Mason St. The house is comfortable and charming with a great kitchen. It was quiet even though it was so close to the main hub of activity in Cape Charles.

Excellent home. Was attached to another dwelling but felt very private as no one was next door during our stay. Host was very accommodating, neighbors extremely friendly. Lots of dogs being walked in the surrounding area. Roads very safe to go for an extended walk. Winds coming off the water surprisingly strong at times; was impressed at how secure the house seemed during stormy winds. Best part of the stay was being right on the water of the river/bay.

Nice one bedroom for the two of us. Close to family with lots to do.

Such a beautiful peaceful place! The hosts thought of everything to make this place very pet (and human!) friendly. Sunsets are beautiful, we saw dolphins swim by at least twice, friendly neighbors, and truly a perfect place to escape and unwind! We recommend bringing outdoor/beach supplies such as blankets, chairs, shade tent/umbrella, and a camping table to make relaxing and enjoying meals outdoors with a view of the bay in either of the fenced yards!

My daughter found this gem online to book for my 65th birthday and a family get-together on the Northern Neck. We stay in Airbnb homes quite frequently all over the world and this is the loveliest home we've had the good fortune to stay in. Christine is the most gracious host and this home is special because she has made it that way for her family. It's a huge difference to stay in a vacation home that the host rents and a home that the host lives in. Christine's eye for beauty is exquisite and the home is comfortable as well as beautiful. It seldom happens that you say, "I wish the house had (fill in the blank)" and this house has it. The river is a gorgeous backdrop and there are kayaks to use. The saltwater pool is a great addition and a reason to hang at the house. And there is everything one needs to knock out a meal or if you don't want to cook, plenty of places to eat in the area. All in all, this house is a 15 out of 10!!

Marvelous property! Our family had a fun and relaxing Thanksgiving at Oyster Shell Cottage. Plenty of room for our large gang in this spacious and immaculately appointed cottage. The fenced yard was perfect for our pup, and the screened porch was glorious. The kids enjoyed the dock and fire pit. All of the bedrooms were comfy and cozy. Of special note was the enormous shower in the master bedroom on the ground floor! The kitchen was fantastic and had everything we needed. Highly recommend Oyster Shell Cottage for your family’s vacation or get away!

The Clark Construction team enjoyed the offsite bonding, efficiency, and great Cape Charles fishery with local guide Clint Lessard on Sho-Nuf Charters. Great time all around and plenty of fish were caught. Hoping to return next year. The Coastal Soul AirBnB was immaculate. Perfect setup for multiple people, well appointed kitchen and seating areas, and great hosts. Thankful for all involved.

My husband and I visited for our 7 year anniversary. It was peaceful and beautiful. We also loved getting in the wood fired sauna! This place is a dream and we cannot wait to come back!

Blue Belle was a fun and roomy place to spend a long weekend with our family! It’s in a great area and was easy to get anywhere you wanted to go in Cape Charles. We rented a golf cart but it wasn’t in the best of shape. That’s not Doug’s fault but that of the rental company. Therefore, we didn’t really use it as much as we would have liked. Doug was prompt in getting the washing machine repaired and it was needed. Our granddaughters enjoyed playing the ring on a string game on the back porch and walk to the beach nearby. I recommend staying here!

Beautiful view of the bay. This spot gave my nomadic soul a weekend recharge much needed. Love the old camper restoration that made the adventure feel authentic.

This was our second stay and it was perfect. The house is beautifully decorated. The beds were the best part and so comfortable. A beautiful view and private beach area. And Ashley is a very responsive and helpful host. We will definitely consider staying here again.

What a lovely weekend stay, it was exactly what we wanted! The house was spotless and beautifully furnished. The beds and linens were comfortable and clean and the kitchen was STOCKED. It made cooking meals in super easy. Not to mention the view was absolutely stunning. Hosts were wonderful and extremely responsive. I would absolutely return and recommend to others!

What a fantastic place! I came from Pennsylvania to visit with family. Katie’s place was a great spot for them to come visit. We cooked out on the grill and the kids played in the water and on the beach. The house is absolutely gorgeous and is fully stocked with everything you could think of and labeled! The best part was watching the sunrise while sipping a cup of coffee on the covered porch. It was so peaceful. Oh! And of course watching the dolphins play! I really hope we can come back again in the future, we had the absolute best time! Thank-you Katie and Tim for everything!

Ashely’s house is an absolute dream and the pinnacle of tranquility! The views are incredible and it’s a perfect place to relax and take a step back from busy city life. We spent Thanksgiving in Ashley’s house and it was heavenly. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking and the rooms are comfortable with views of the water.

Excellent location right on the Chesapeake Bay, and fantastic communication. Host always responded within an hour or even less, even a month ahead of our reservation. I echo all the other positive reviews for this property and how exactly it matches the photos. Couple things to note for future tenants 1. The two private piers/docks (shown in listing photos) beside this property are not accessible by guests. Those belong to other houses. 2. Running water has a yellow tinge. Host explained that it is due to mineral deposits in the entire neighborhood but it’s completely safe for drinking and other use. However, I have chronic GI problems and often get constipation from mineral rich water. So I bought cartons of drinking water from the nearby Food Lion.

I was there during the polar vortex (winter, snow) in January. Someone came by and cleared the front steps. Heat worked great, warmed the place up quickly every evening, even in the brutal cold. Plenty of parking. Washer and dryer looked new but I did not need to use them. I loved the faux fireplace (led lights + electric heat) especially since it was brutally cold.

This is my 3rd year staying at one of Lynn’s properties. It is in an amazing location very close to the reason/location that I visit each year. I love the home and plan to book here once a year every single year when ai visit the area. Great host, great home, and great location.
