Vacation rentals in Smeeton Westerby

We had a lovely stay at Wakene’s home. The house was very clean and comfortable. Check-in with the lock box was handy for us with a few kids in tow - timings are always hard to predict! Wakene was also proactive in messaging to confirm check-in details and to ask if we had any queries. A table and chairs would have been great in the kitchen, but admittedly the house was exactly as described.

We had a lovely stay for NYE 2024. The village is peaceful, with a couple of pubs nearby. The Red Lion had great food. We also took a walk into Market Harborough and walked down the canal, which was very pleasant. Would return and explore further, and Amies place would suit our needs again. Microwave and crockery provided enough for a quick snack. Bed was comfy. TV provided, although might be worth bringing a Firestick to access the usual apps (Netflix etc.)

Overall a brilliant weekend with family! The house was perfect, well-suited to families with children of all ages - nice and warm with the underfloor heating, comfortable beds and a well-equipped kitchen. Lots to do in the local area too. I would highly recommend a stay here!

Lovely cottage that I booked for a group of friends. There was plenty of space but still had a cosy vibe. The host Ellie was so helpful from the start. She made a reservation at the local pub (The Sun Inn where we had one of the best Sunday roasts) and was proactive with other enquiries as well. We had a great time and would highly recommend for any large group gatherings.

Lovely stay for a birthday night away. Would return. It's so close Rutland water for a lovely day out but we enjoyed the peace and quiet. Enclosed area made us feel safe letting out dogs out too. Considering you can take dogs it you couldn't tell a dog was ever there before, it was super clean which we loved!

This is the second time we have stayed at this beautiful cottage. Tracey is a wonderful host, so helpful! The annex is very well equipped, lovely and warm, fantastic location with amazing country views and a really good pub within walking distance. Lovely house with amenities all in good working order, in a nice and private area, host Jack was very friendly and responsive. Clean and tidy, very nicely decorated.
