This place was absolutely fantastic! We booked it for a bachelorette long weekend and we had so much fun staying all together and found a couple breweries close by to visit as well! The hot tub was an awesome feature as well as plenty of space for all of us! John was super responsive and made planning our stay a dream! Would recommend to others and also book again! Thanks for a great time!

Our third time back because it’s just that good: the well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, immaculately clean and well appointed house and grounds - such serene surroundings! Such a great spot for a reset respite. Meng and Andrew are so hospitable and responsive and have truly thought of everything to help one sit back and relax! We will be back again 💫

My partner and I enjoyed our little quick much needed getaway. Cabin was quaint and comfortable. Hot tub with a full moon overlooking the river was so peaceful. Lots of wildlife, even a pair of Eagles made an appearance. Nearby hiking during the day and delicious dinner in town at night. Erica was great in sending messages a few days prior with recommendations of where to dine and visit. Much needed escape was worth it!

Sam had the perfect amount of helpfulness while also letting me have the space I needed to decompress. Was a great teacher, and keeps a really beautiful campground.

Great location. Very relaxing and peaceful. The house is adorable. The owner was very helpful and gave recommendations of local things to do. My fiancé and I stayed for two nights. We went to two of the restaurants that were recommended and we also went on a hike, we hiked 5 miles and it was a great day. The hot tub was super relaxing and we even made a fire at the fire pit. We can’t wait to go back.

Beautiful modern cabin in an ideal nature setting. Hot tub and sauna were perfect! The night sky was stunning ! Great restaurants, hiking, farms all within 10 minutes. Perfect 2 day get away! Amazing host. Extremely responsive.

I only wish we could have stayed longer. We have visited this area many times, but this is our first staying here. The house was charming, cozy, and comfortable. I loved the bedding, and the sound of Esopus Creek was truly healing in a stressful time. The check-in and check-out was very straightforward, and we loved looking at the stars while using the hot tub. I enjoyed looking through the books and marvelous cd collection, and we plan to return as soon as I have a day off again. I had actually driven past this home several times when camping and hiking in the area, but never stopped. Grateful I found this unique home!

I think this may be our 5th time to the house. Come up from the city for fishing and it’s beyond the perfect spot. It’s truly a perfect spot for access to water and hiking. Couldn’t ask for a better host!

Very nice place, if you’re thinking doing a getaway to somewhere peaceful and quiet,celebration or get together this is the place you’re looking for. The Owners are very nice, great communication. Looking for something to hike or fishing, this is also the place you can look for many nearby places. Overall experience is very nice place to stay, very clean, a lot of comfort in the house. Will sure comeback again!

This Airbnb is truly something special. If you're a fan of mid-century modern design, you’ll be in heaven—the aesthetic is gorgeous, and honestly, it feels a bit too nice to be a rental. It's incredibly generous of Jenny to open this space up to others. The backyard is breathtaking—peaceful, private, and serene. I could have spent the entire trip out there, flipping through books with the soothing sound of the creek in the background. The Japanese hot tub was the cherry on top. I loved it far more than a typical hot tub. It requires some effort and planning to get just right, which, for me, made the experience even more rewarding. That said, I can imagine it wouldn’t be for everyone. This place gets my highest recommendation—though I hesitate to say that because I selfishly want it to be available the next time I book. Thank you, Jenny, for sharing your beautiful home.

Anastasia's place was comfortable and quaint, with a wonderful wood-burning stove, a beautiful forest that was a delight to explore, and a whole tree in the middle of the living room! The only downside was its proximity to a fairly high-speed road. With the bedroom windows open, the occasional traffic disrupted what was otherwise a very quiet and peaceful stay.

Beautiful location...nice and quiet. 7 or 8 mins to woodstock. Decorated seemingly professionally. All the appointments (convennces) you could ask for.

We had a wonderful long weekend! The house was perfect! It was very clean, cozy and we loved the cabin feel inside. We also enjoyed playing pool and air hockey. It is super close to the lake and several delicious restaurants. My kids and dogs also had a great time. Adriana was quick to respond when I had questions. I highly recommend this house!!

We had a great time at Ashley’s house! Such an idyllic setting for this little well appointed woods cabin. We had everything we needed, and Ashley and her team were very responsive and proactive. The driveway can definitely be a bit treacherous in bad weather but it wasn’t an issue for us. Everything was as described, just what we were looking for - a quick, quiet, easy getaway with woods and privacy, plenty of space for the kiddos to run around and lots of cozy memories made! Well worth the trek north for us.

We had a great stay at this cabin! The location was on a dead end street which made it very quiet, serene, and private. The lake was visible from the back porch of the house & a very close walk away. The house comes with access to a semi-private beach/dock area which is the perfect place to spend the day in the summer. The house was decorated beautifully while being extremely comfortable at the same time. Our host, Kamil, was very responsive. If I had a question or concern he was extremely helpful within a short period of time. All around, really enjoyed this stay & would definitely return when in this area again!

We loved our stay at Joe & Barb's place! The cabin is delightful; beautiful surrounds, peaceful and quiet while being just a short drive from the amenities of New Paltz. Joe gave us great tips for nearby hikes, and we enjoyed a tour of the veggie garden (with full credit to Barb the gardener!), and hearing about the sustainability/eco-friendly initiatives of the property. Had an amazing stay at the Diego`s cabin on the river! The host was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and their adorable, friendly dog was a bonus. Winter fishing in the river was an unforgettable experience—absolutely loved it! Highly recommend for a cozy and adventurous getaway.

Perfect Little Romantic Getaway Spot I stayed at Birch Creek House recently and honestly didn’t want to leave. It’s super cozy and tucked right next to a creek, so you’ve got that peaceful water sound going the whole time — total vibe. The place was really clean, had everything I needed, and felt super homey. The bed was comfy, the kitchen was stocked, and it was just a great space to relax. They even had board games and puzzles there for us! It’s quiet and private but still close enough to little towns and hiking spots if you want to explore a bit. Highly recommend Kaaterskills Falls! I do wish there was a curtain or some way to cover the big window in the living room — just for a little more privacy at night. And while I missed having a microwave to quickly reheat food, it kind of added to that “living in nature” vibe, having to warm things up the old-school way. Overall, it was a peaceful, refreshing stay. I’ll definitely be back!

A beautiful lakefront cabin tucked away from it all offered a perfect place to relax and enjoy nature. Would totally visit again. Plenty of firewood was a great perk. Loved it!
