Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Smallwood

Tim was a great host! His place was clean and felt like home. Tim was super communicative and responsive to messages, so should I have needed something (I did not), I felt he would have been easy to get in touch with. I did not bring my kids with me on this trip, but if you are traveling with kids, this is the perfect place! The set up is great, and he has some of the essentials so you don’t have to bring them with you, which as a parent is so appreciated. There were beds perfect for any child’s age, as well as toys and other gear. I would 100% stay at one of Tim’s properties in the future, and recommend without hesitation!

We had an amazing stay at Jeffery’s house. From booking to checkout super responsive and proactively gave us tips for areas to explore and restaurants outside. Lovely backyard trail. The house gets well heated. Peaceful stay. 6/5

My Family and I really loved Ruth’s listing. it felt just like home. The view from the patio was amazing. The entire house was clean and neat. The bathroom and living room guest baskets were a plus, She was very accommodating and responsive the entire trip. We couldn’t locate the living room TV remote for some reason, but ruth ordered 2 remotes and batteries wit in 2 hours we had new remotes. Exceptional hosting. we plan on traveling back to Monroe soon. Ruth’s place is our #1 pick for our stay.

Jose was a great host—very responsive and proactive. It snowed the day we arrived, and Jose made sure the snow was cleared so we could fully enjoy the place. I will definitely be looking forward to coming back.

Loved the house. Liked the games, rooms, bbq and fire pit. Kitchen was clean and had all the stuff you need. Lots to do within the property, since it was too cold out. Kids enjoyed as well. Games and one bedroom in basement along with a pack n play. All other bedroom on first floor. Driveway big for 4 cars. We were 10 people. Enough space for everyone. Everything was well maintained. Do look at the night sky, you’ll be able to see a-lot of clusters of stars. Every room has its own thermostat, made it easy with the kids. Overall, 10/10

My mom and I stayed here and had the best mother and daughter trip we could ever have asked for. The property is so peaceful…we drank our coffee outside for sunrise and then had our wine with dinner for sunset; I used the grill to make delicious steaks and my mom and I enjoyed cozying up to the fire in the evening, playing puzzles and reading our books! It’s a charming cabin in a beautiful and private location, and Joan was the most responsive and thoughtful host. My mom and I would love to make this a tradition to come back to this spot. Highly recommend!

This is our third time staying at one of Alex's properties. He always delivers and never disappoints. We love the location and is definitely our go to place when we visit Warwick. Serg’s place is just wonderful for anyone looking for a relaxing and peaceful getaway! It’s super clean, spacious, cozy, and filled with artistic touches that make it feel special. We really appreciated Serg’s help and his awesome recommendations for exploring the area, especially around the Shawagunk. We can’t wait to come back and enjoy it again!

Staying at Carmen's place was a pleasure! I could easily stay there the entire year. The place was equipped with everything you may need and then some more. I am looking forward to returning whenever I am in the area again.

Rosemary’s place was very comfortable! My son and I stayed there to be near Legoland and some outdoor activities. Her place was the perfect size for us. We had everything we needed to make breakfast in the morning, and we were able to walk around around the corner to the pizza place or the Mexican restaurant. Everything was very clean and the AC worked great. There was a swing set out back that my son was very excited about, and a lovely yard. It was peaceful and quiet.

we loved our stay and look forward to staying again. the architecture of the inside of the building was mid-century modern but with a very rustic element sleeping in the loft was very comfy loved having a full kitchen . our host Susan went above and beyond would recommend her again to anyone. the town is a very historic sleepy Town through the week and picks up on the weekends nice shopping few antique stores around Dollar general at the edge of town and a grocery store behind the unit had anything imaginable and then some. the mountains surrounding the town are just beautiful and there is a river that runs under the back deck that is filled with mallard ducks even with the snow falling the town was quite and beautiful everyone was so helpful and kind there was a thrift store across the street that proceeds went towards Hospital etc the workers and there were so fun the prices were cheap so fun to look around. look forward to coming back.

He was great at communicating how to get in and out. It had everything that was listed and even though the central AC wasn't working, there was a portable one and it was clearly stated on the thethermostat very clearly stated that they were waiting on rhe part and apologized. There were extra pillows and blankets to use. Plus the place was at a beautiful location. Plenty of things to do and he provided places to see/visit.

I had a phenomenal time with my stay ! everything was conveniently close, I got to see everyone snowboarding having a good time , all the lights on the mountain lit up at night, I’d say most places are about a 5-10 minute drive, the place is spacious, comfy with beautiful views from the bedroom, living room and the outdoor deck facing the mountains, definitely a time to remember

awesome place. it took me a while to do my review because there's so many good things about this place that exceeded my expectations. a key item was the communication with the host. it was always responsive and willing to help and give suggestions. I would definitely rent again if in the area.

Lovely place, nice and clean. Balcony has one of the best views, perfect for a fall getaway and probably even better in the winter with ski season approaching. Lots of things to do near by, hiking trails, stores, food places ect. Host was responsive and super helpful. Highly recommended and will def be coming back.
