Waterfront vacation rentals in Smallingerland

With our family, we spent the Easter weekend in your holiday cottage Liesje. What a lovely place, our children enjoyed themselves in and around the terrain: the go-karts, all the animals, the playground equipment, the space! Highly recommended! Various nice outings and beautiful nature in the area.

The apartment is very well equipped. In the kitchen, all necessary utensils were available. We had a nice time and felt very comfortable. There is enough space for 8 adults. The location is very nice and the weather also played along. We missed a hair dryer. However, it was not listed as amenities. All in all, a nice stay. 👍🏼 😊

Thank you for the beautiful experience. We loved the apartment! Just like in the pictures it is equipped with everything you need. We also got some Dutch treats as a warm welcome! The apartment was clean and the bed comfy! We had a great time. 10/10 I would recommend it to everyone!

Beautiful place in surprising location. Ideal as a base to discover Eastermar and the rest of Friesland. Marten and his family are super welcoming and helpful. The location and the apartments are pearls in the cap. The whole family is working hard to make this place even more beautiful. Helma is a great host and I really enjoyed my stay in her flat and the lovely city of Sneek. The loft is right on the water and if you enjoy boat and people watching, this is the place for you!! Sneek is surrounded by the picturesque Fryslân countryside and towns that are easily reachable by bike. I recommend it 110% !!

It was perfect!! Definitely recommended. We hope to come back there again. By the way, a top location.

Great Hosts, Great place!

We had a fantastic stay at Ut Fan Hus with our three kids! There is plenty to do in the downstairs area, such as darts, ping pong, shuffle and there are plenty of games and magazines. The cats and chickens also made it a nice stay for the kids. We felt right at home. Apartment is well equipped, everything is present and there are fine beds and a cozy living room. We had a lovely weekend in Aldeboarne. The house and the location are completely as expected and the description. There was already proactive contact about the arrival and we felt very welcome. A really nice little house in a great location with boat mooring around the corner. There we were able to leave our boat over time. We felt comfortable from the first second! We will definitely come back! We traveled with 4 people and dog.

We stayed at Anneke's place for two weeks. The house has all the comforts. It's fine to stay there for a longer period of time. The location is quiet and you have a nice view of the water. Plenty of dining options are available in Terherne that are also open outside the high season. Anneke is a nice person to have contact with and she responds very quickly.

Great cottage with all the amenities you need. Everything was clean and tidy. The area is very quiet and beautiful to relax from everyday life.

We had a wonderful week in Friesland. The cottage was fine: enough available for wonderful vacation, wonderful beds and also bedding fine for each other. The outdoor furniture was also in order with the hammock as a topper. It is also nice to be able to play tennis. Our boat was a short distance from the cottage, being able to sail and cycle.

We had a wonderful week at Wilma and Henry's cottage in Terherne. The house is very well equipped and offers everything you need for a relaxing stay, especially in the kitchen. The hot tub was a special highlight – you should only plan enough time to heat up, as Wilma also kindly explained in advance. Wilma has always communicated in a timely and comprehensive manner, which made check-in, stay and check-out very straightforward. We felt completely comfortable and can absolutely recommend the house!

What a beautiful location! A huge recommendation for a weekend in Leeuwarden. Me and my family really enjoyed the airbnb! It is located close to the city center, which makes everything easily accessible and communication went smoothly.

We enjoyed our stay, the place was very nice and clean. Only a little smaller than shown in the pictures, but completely ok for two people. We were very satisfied with everyone, especially Johanna was extremely friendly and accommodating! We were mainly fishing in Stavoren and had a lot of fun and beautiful fish. The hosts Gjis and Sophie were very sweet. They were immediately available for questions and the location was great. Free parking was right in front of the door and also a spar right next door. The beach was a few minutes walk away. There were also restaurants in the immediate vicinity. Short connection to the highway. The apartment left nothing to be desired in terms of amenities and was lovingly furnished. It was also great that you could connect your smartphone or similar multimedia devices directly to the TV. This is definitely one of the best Airbnb I’ve ever had. My husband and I really really love it here. We felt like home the moment we step into the house. You got everything you need!! Even it’s winter time, we had a really nice view. You can watch the ship sailing and sunset (depend on the weather). Both Henk and Sietske are very friendly and always making sure we feel comfortable staying there. They even prepared small bites and drinks before we checked in. We will definitely come back if given chance to. Nothing else to say, it is PERFECT!!

Beautiful place right on the beach! The apartment is bright, clean and very welcoming. Perfect for relaxing walks by the sea, with short distances to the harbor and to the charming little town.Lilly was super friendly!

The long weekend in the apartment overlooking the lake was beautiful. The apartment is freshly renovated and we were welcomed with drinks and some treats in the fridge. We were even allowed to borrow the canoe to ride it across the lake. Joke and her husband Martin help wherever they can. Thanks again for the wonderful stay!
