Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Smallingerland

We had a very nice time with our 8 month old daughter in this well-equipped cottage. The high chair, toys and cot were a real plus for us. Yeltsje is very nice, we are sorry not to have met her. She really thought of everything! By the way, the bed was a little too soft for us, but that's different for everyone. However, it doesn't seem so nice to sleep in the extra room where the boiler hangs, because it starts and makes noise regularly. It might be nice to know who gets the single bed there.

Beautiful, lovingly furnished apartment. Irene and Rienk are accommodating, friendly hosts. The apartment is very cozy yet modern. Everything you need for several days is there. We enjoyed the view from the large windows to the fullest every day. We felt comfortable right away!

Staying with Tido and Claar means - enjoy. The house is beautiful and very well maintained. Nothing is missing. The two are extremely friendly hosts. We spent ten wonderful autumn days here and recovered excellently. A lovely place and a friendly place to vacation. We enjoyed the time very much and will definitely be back.

We had a wonderful week in Friesland. The cottage was fine: enough available for wonderful vacation, wonderful beds and also bedding fine for each other. The outdoor furniture was also in order with the hammock as a topper. It is also nice to be able to play tennis. Our boat was a short distance from the cottage, being able to sail and cycle.

We had a nice midweek with Atsje and family. The cottage was nicely located on the waterfront. The cottage is tastefully and efficiently furnished. We have been using the Kayak. The setting is beautiful for cycling. The cozy shopping street of Joure is recommended!

My experience was nothing short of delightful! We were greeted with an open and warm welcome, complete with delicious traditional treats like oliebollen, appelflappen, kniepertjes, and a cozy, burning Christmas tree. The accommodation was equipped with everything needed. The space and location are perfect for both short and longer stays. Highly recommended!

Had an excellent stay as a family of four with our two children aged 3 and 3 months old. The toddler enjoyed himself with the toys in the house and the trampoline in the garden; the baby had enough space to join. Small but nice house with all necessities in the house. We enjoyed the area and cooked at home in the evening. Great!

We stayed in Hindeloopen during a weekend trip and booked a room with Sharino. The amenities were great, everything you needed was available and also super clean. We were also provided with a baby cot on request. Sharino was always easily accessible and gave us a detailed description of how to reach the apartment. Although it was in the attic it was superbly insulated, we did not notice anything from the heat. We're already considering whether we'll book next year. Although it is minimally located outside, you can still reach the harbor in five minutes by car. It's incredibly quiet for that.

Harlingen is a wonderfully picturesque place, the house was close to the nice center. Recommended in the area are Jopie Huisman, the Planetarium, Sneek, Leeuwarden and Hindelopen. The house has all the comforts, nice complete furnishings and spacious bedroom with bathroom. We had a great time.

We absolutely loved our stay at Baukje’s place! The apartment is beautifully designed, super cozy, and located in a quiet yet convenient neighborhood. Baukje is a truly warm and thoughtful host – we felt welcome and at ease right from the start. Everything was spotless, well-organized, and even better than expected. We’d come back in a heartbeat and can genuinely recommend staying here!

The apartment right on the water is really a quiet oasis to relax. We had a very nice time and were delighted with the little touches for breakfast. Communication with Ina was very kind and straightforward. We would recommend the place for a relaxing, quiet vacation at any time.

We really loved our stay in the green cottage! The cottage is nicely furnished, overlooking the meadows and everything is present. It is wonderfully quiet and by car you are quickly at nice sights in Friesland. Recommended!

We stayed in this amazing cottage for four days, and it was absolutely unforgettable! The house was extremely clean, warm, and cozy, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Every morning, we were greeted by birds singing, and our duck friends would come by - they just love oats! The surrounding area is perfect for walks and bike rides, and it’s only a half-hour bus ride to the center of Groningen. Nicoline was an incredibly caring host, and we didn’t lack for anything during our stay. It’s a pity there weren’t more days - we would love to come back again!

A unique place to stay in an idyllic place! With our family with three small children, we had a great week in the holiday home of Evelien and Marnix. The house is very cozy, authentic and houses all kinds of treasures for the little ones, such as a craft corner, boxes of toys and not to mention the crazy outdoor games (archery, all kinds of racket games, a giant 4-on-one row, etc.) Not everyday and therefore so much fun. Enjoyed bike rides and walks, especially with Natuurplaats Noordsche Veld as a starting point. Nothing is missing in the house and therefore: really vacation! See you soon!
