Beautiful view that was a dream to wake up to every day, the place was really comfortable and cozy. We loved our stay and going on beach walks every morning. Hotties for lunch is a must!

We had the best Christmas break at this amazing house! It’s the perfect place to relax and entertain. The property offers so many areas to unwind—whether it’s by the pool, in the spa, on the comfy couches, or grilling on the BBQ, there’s something for everyone. The house is thoughtfully designed to make you feel on holiday, with all the practical amenities you need. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better getaway—highly recommend!

We fell in love with Waihi Beach and the Fat Fish studio! Spent four days here and never wanted to leave. Jeanette and Pete were so helpful and responsive; we really felt so well-taken care of. Such a gorgeous town, such a beautiful home. We especially loved the bathroom and the comfy bed, and the free bicycles. I took a luxurious bath in the outdoor bathtub with Jeanette's extra-special bath salts, which really helped recovery after all the bike riding and hiking that we did. Jeanette and Pete gave us the best recommendations for restaurants and did everything to make sure we had a perfect stay. They are truly special.
