Everything was fine with the place. It was really sparkling clean when we arrived. At first, it felt a bit strange that the hallway in front of the room was a shared space with the neighboring apartment, and that we had to leave our shoes there. But to be fair, this way we didn’t bring snow or mud into the apartment. The place was easy to find, but don’t follow Google Maps directly—take a nice big detour instead, because with luggage, the Google Maps route was quite painful on the way there. 😃 The apartment was really about 2 minutes from the bus stop, which allowed us to get anywhere on the island. It’s a very cute, well-equipped little apartment—I can only recommend it! 😊

We had the most wonderful stay at Elin’s cabin on Ringvassøy. The cabin is situated in a beautiful location which is very private and peaceful. It makes you completely forget about the outside world and the stress of day to day life. The limited facilities make for a basic way of living which only adds to the experience of staying here. We were greeted by the local reindeer when we arrived, they made us feel very welcome! The whole stay felt so magical and calming, I’d highly recommend it to anyone wanting to find some peace and quiet. But make sure you are prepared! Finding the cabin wasn’t too difficult. Admittedly, we did accidentally drive past but when the roads are snowy the parking spot can be easy to miss. We were adequately stocked for food and supplies for the week, but there is a store nearby in Hansnes if you forget anything or need to top up. Just remember that it’s closed on Sundays! We will hopefully be back very soon. We certainly left a piece of our heart here.

Amazing place and amazing view! We saw the Northern Lights 2 times from the terrace. Hennes is very clear and responsive in giving directions. Everything perfect, recommended!

I had a great stay at Angelina’s mini home. It was cozy, warm and had everything I needed. The check in was easy and the instructions were clear. It’s easy to walk from Tromso city centre or the 26 bus stop is really close so easy to walk.
