Monthly Rentals in Skarsfjord

The property and location are fantastic. We stayed here in 2019 and are also very excited this time. Morten gave us some tips on snowshoe tours again and always responded to our messages right away. We saw the northern lights right around the house almost daily, what a spectacle. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful time in the lodge with snow, auroras and fire in the fireplace. The house is very comfortable and nicely furnished. There's nothing missing. You definitely need a car, as no Uber drives that far and taxis are very expensive. The lodge is located about 20 minutes' drive from Tromsø right on the waterfront. Ketil is a very likeable, humorous and very helpful host! It couldn't be better. We will be happy to come back!!

Loved the fireplace after a day outdoors. We were with our kids (2, 4) and had a good time. the kitchen is very well equipped and there are lots of blankets and even slippers to keep you warm. There is plenty of wood and stuff for children. There was a lot of snow, so the nice views were rare, but we did have great fun with the sleighs. One night the sky was clear and we saw the Aurora. Tromsø is about 1-1,5 hour drive and that's the place where you can find all activities. In this cabin you'll find rest surrounded by nature, but with clean roads for road trips.

You can tell that the owners love their beautiful cabin as you feel the warmth and care that has gone into this place. It has everything for the whole family and we felt instantly welcome and at home. My two daughters loved it and we very much enjoyed waking up in this environment. The nature, the beautiful sights over the fjord and the quiet evenings in the hottub watching the stars and northern light. It was a truly magical stay. Monica and Ove also were very reactive and pleasant to communicate with. I love how you can feel their own family vibe staying here.
