Napa has a special place in my heart. I raised my kids here. It's changed over the years, but it still retains some of that small town feel. You have to look for it, but it's there. The great restaurants of years gone by are still around and they still deliver the quality. And of course, there are plenty of new hot spots, with attitudes to prove it. The beauty of the valley and mountains is still magnificent, and I am sure it will be even better after this Pineapple Express clears out. There is nothing like the lush green hillsides in season, that we have here. Regarding the Casita....it is perfect for me. The amenities were well thought out, the bed is comfortable, the shower hot and forceful, the kitchen well appointed. Carrie has been here when I needed her and invisible when I didn't. What can I say? I signed up for two more months when this period ends. :-)

My husband and I very much enjoyed our 2 month stay at this cozy cottage in Sonoma where we stayed with our dog. Located on a quiet street and only a short drive to downtown, great wineries and restaurants, the home looks recently updated and is very well appointed. We appreciated the huge TV with streaming apps, comfy king bed, separate hot / cold fresh water filter, stocked kitchen for cooking, numerous cleaning supplies / leaf blower, extra towels and linens, and fire pit + grill on the large front patio. The decor was thoughtful and chic and fit in well with the rustic surroundings. Neighbors we met were friendly too. Note there are cameras on the property. Julie always replied quickly when we needed help and was flexible on our duration. Thanks for a great stay!

The Winemaker's Cottage is a special place to stay. The cottage is adorable and it is obvious the owners have put care and attention to every detail. The house was equipped with wonderful touches, especially the windows that are all through the cottage. The kitchen was perfect for us to cook meals; we loved the classic refrigerator! Great cookware, and kitchen appliances. The cottage is simple which is why it is so appealing. The indoor spaces are welcoming and the outdoor backyard is wonderful. We spent many evenings sitting on the couch by the firepit. The yard overlooks the owner's vineyard and several olive trees and is very private and quiet. We frequently spotted an owl who must have a nest nearby and saw daily hawk sightings. The beds in both bedrooms are very comfortable and the bedding is of high quality. The owners have not spared a thing in creating this beautiful respite! And the owners, Eric and Andrea, could not have been more accomodating and gracious.

Amalie’s place was a wonderful option for exploring Napa. I stayed for a month and was able to explore the vineyards north of downtown, San Francisco, the hiking both close and further away, as well as snowboarding in Tahoe all in one trip. The home is wonderful and clean with plenty of room. I felt like I had everything I needed and got to play with Otis (the pup) when I was coming in and out of the apartment. Amali is very responsive and helped me with recommendations! I had a gym nearby at HealthQuest and it was an amazing experience. I’m thankful for the family for treating me so well during my stay!
