This is the most laid back boat and bed in Amsterdam. The location is perfect, very close to the center but just far enough to retreat from the hustle and bustle after your city visit. In your completely separate quarters you will have everything you need to feel at home. A separate entrance gives you the freedom to come and go as you please. Houseboat in nature, 15 minutes from C. Station.

My houseboat is situated on one of the most beautiful spots in Amsterdam. It's got a big open garden, that borders on some wild woods and opposite the wide canal (in which you can swim) is a forest. I love my home, it has everything you need and it's very quiet. It's like living in the country, a 20 minute walk along woods and water takes you to the next village on a lake. And a 15 minute bike-ride takes you to the ferry opposite the CS and one of the most beautiful towns in the world!

Stylish houseboat for 2

Gorgeous houseboat moored on historic canal. The B&B is 60 m2, with ample living space, an open kitchen, a bedroom and bathroom. Outside is a large deck. Perfect for a couple, not for guests who have trouble with steep stairs The boat is called “Musard” and was built in 1922 in Rouen, France. We live in the rear end of the boat and our guests stay in the front. Older reviews are of the same location, but we used to rent out the total boat! Now the space fits 2 guests, not more.

First class houseboat studio

The houseboat is situated in the centre, at the Jordaan area. The boat has 2 separate studios of 16m2 for my guests and another part of the boat where I live myself. The famous Anne Frank house, Noordermarkt and great shopping street the Haarlemmerstraat are all within minutes walking distance. The huge sliding windows can opened fully on warm days and give you a wonderful view on the canals. Also they have built in shades so you can also enjoy your privacy..

This stay was a very magical experience, I was celebrating a milestone birthday, and when I arrived, they greeted me with a bottle of champagne, which I thought was very nice! The location to everything is perfect and it was just a great experience being on a houseboat. I will definitely book them again.

We loved our stay on the boat. I've been to Amsterdam many times and have always wanted to stay on a houseboat, and Lionel made that dream possible! The decorations were so unique and memorable. It was fun to watch boats pass by in the canal and hear the church bells from the nearby cathedral. Lionel had plenty of great local recommendations and made us feel right at home. Amazing neighborhood with so much to do the second you walk out the door. Would recommend, would return!

We traveled to Amsterdam with our 2 girls (10 and 7) and Vivian’s houseboat was perfect. We were able to check in early which was greatly appreciated. Vivian’s instructions were detailed, we had no problem finding the houseboat and check in was a breeze. Everything was very clean and exactly as pictured. She made you feel at home with a fully stocked kitchen, supplies and a welcome gift in the fridge :) We enjoyed many a coffees on the deck in the morning and cocktails at night. The neighborhood was peaceful and close to a lot of restaurants, shops and sights. Would highly recommend and would absolutely stay again!

Warm welcome at check-in. We were immediately shown the entire facility ( where the boat is, where the toilets are and how the showers work) and also get tips on how to get in to Amsterdam. In the marina it was very quiet and you could sleep very well. In addition, you felt safe as a woman. The showers and toilets are about 20 meters away, so for camping conditions very close. Everything is very clean and up to date. All in all a very pleasant stay and we will be happy to come back!
