We had a wonderful stay in Alkmaar and in the apartment! The communication with Diwa was great, she welcomed us, gave us a lot of useful information, we could always contact her and she was super friendly. The apartment was super clean and had everything we needed. It has a beautiful balcony and a great view. We loved, that it’s located in the middle of the city with nice cafés around the corner. For parking there are good options that Diwa told us about. We totally recommend staying in Diwas apartment and would love to come back!

Hayko and Nerys are great hosts! Very communicative and helpful. The apartment is located in a quiet neighborhood. The surrounding construction is NOT a bother and noise from it does not reach the apartment. The apartment is amazing - well appointed, clean, and functional. We enjoyed relaxing in the apartment after a long day of sightseeing and we made a number of our own meals in the kitchen. Plenty of pots and pans, cooking utensils, etc. The Nespresso works well, as well as the hot water kettle. Most of Amsterdam is very easy to access from this apartment. The tram is the easiest - no tickets, just use your credit card or Apple/Google pay to get on/off. Same with the buses, but they run less frequently. The 1e Coehoornstraat Tram Stop (#7 line) is an easy 5 minute walk from the apartment. There are 2 grocery stores also about a 5 minute walk, Albert Heijn and Odin (health food store). Highly recommend staying here, for the apartment and the vibe. Thank you Hayko and Nerys!

Everything went well, the host is very friendly and helpful, we enjoyed our stay. The apartment is close to a train station from which you can get to Amsterdam in half an hour.

Excellent stay, Jacqueline is remarkably kind and gives very good advice, super quiet apartment in a residential area. Shops are within walking distance in 10 minutes as well as restaurants. A huge beach right next door.

This is exactly what we were looking for! This is the perfect location for those that want to be near the action but also not directly in the center. We stayed 6 nights for our first trip to Amsterdam. We ended up being here for Kings Day, which was not planned at all, but WOW such an experience. Brian was such a responsive host, who was able to provide local recommendations and was flexible with our check out. This place is so close to so much to do. It took a bit to become familiar with the transit systems as we do not have this in North Carolina but once we got the hang of it, we went everywhere. I would absolutely stay at this Airbnb again. Thank you Brian, for making our first trip to Holland the best.

We had a very nice time in this apartment. The location is perfect and Edmond aan Zee a wonderful destination. The contact with Nannij was extremely pleasant and warm. Everything you need for a successful stay is available in their beautiful apartment. We will be happy to come back soon!

This is our third time staying at Tine’s cottage over the past nearly ten years. It feels like a home away from home. We love Tine and she treats everyone like family. In case you don’t know already, this cottage sits on a quiet street, with its own private parking, entrance, and privacy. It is a very short walk into the backside of Zaanse Schans by the Windmills. You can borrow one of Tine’s many bicycles or simply walk the flat peaceful lanes into the open air park and experience clogs making, cheesemaking, stroopwafels, historic homes and neighborhoods well preserved, shops and gifts, a museum, and the most beautiful intact and functioning windmills you’ll find anywhere in the area - plus much more. It’s only 7-8 minutes to the Zaanse Schans train station and a straight shot in 15 minutes on the train to Centraal Station. Also very easy to get to Keukenhof via train, car, bus, etc. Grocery stores and restaurants close by. Our favorite spot out of all we’ve stayed at in Holland!

Tamara’s home was absolutely wonderful! She arranged everything perfectly and was very responsive from the moment we booked. When our flight changed and we had to shift our plans by a day, she was incredibly accommodating and handled it with great kindness. Everything listed in the description was exactly as promised, and her home was beautifully kept with thoughtful arrangements throughout. The location in Lisse was peaceful and in a lovely neighborhood, just a short distance from Keukenhof Gardens. We had a rental car and appreciated the free parking right next to the house, but we also noticed a bus stop conveniently nearby. Shops, supermarkets, and all necessary facilities were within walking distance, which made things really easy—especially with kids. The place was perfect for our family stay. Highly recommended!

Beautiful, superbly well-equipped accommodation. 3 large, spacious and clean rooms. a large living room and a beautiful kitchen. a beautiful exterior to enjoy the beautiful days. Ideally located for visiting Amsterdam: take the P+R Arena parking lot and then the metro (mandatory to benefit from the parking discount): 13 euro for parking from 9:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. and 9.5 euro for metro for 5 people. Nearby, lots of other possible visits: Edam, Haarlem... We enjoyed this lovely house! thank you.

We had a nice family holiday in Wyik aan Zee. Beautiful beach for walking. A trip to Haarlem and Amsterdam was also on the agenda. Highly recommend. All in all, we will be happy to come back.

Mario was very friendly and welcoming when we arrived. Our room was not quite ready because they were double and triple checking it for cleanliness. When we arrived back at the place, they had taken all of our luggage up the flights of stairs, which was extremely helpful after a long journey!The place was very clean and spacious for the four of us. It was close to a lot of fun activities. They provided as much coffee and supplies as we needed. We had a great visit!

We really enjoyed our stay. The property was very cozy and comfortable, and was well equipped with all of the amenities we were looking for. Hosts were extremely friendly and helpful for anything that we needed. In particular, the black out shades in the bedroom helped us get a great night's sleep every night. The location was superb, great restaurants and grocery stores were right outside of our door. Would highly recommend to anyone!

Had a wonderful Easter weekend in this beautiful loft. Maaike & Michiel were incredibly friendly and helpful. You are also very easy to walk in the city, by metro or shared scooter. Highly recommended!

Our week stay was wonderful. The location was excellent, less than 10 minutes from the train station. Check in/out was straight forward, Atilla was responsive and welcoming!

Staying here felt like a home with some hotel amenities. The staff at the front desk were all so friendly and helpful. We had a beautiful view of the water and the location is so close to the central train station.

It was easy to find accommodation thanks to the very clear directions of the host. The apartment faithfully reflected the photos. Impeccable cleanliness and furnishings cared for in the smallest details. Excellent possibility of using bicycles to tour the surroundings. We will likely return.

This stay was perfect for our last night in the Netherlands. We wanted to be close to the airport. It was about a 15min walk to the bus stop and then a 30-40 min bus ride. The place was so pretty and was very comfortable. I would recommend.

My brother and I had the pleasure of staying at this magnificent spot at the start of April '25, and wow—what a hidden gem! Tucked just a single step away from Alkmaar’s lively Langstraat shopping area, the apartment somehow remains a peaceful retreat. The only reminder of its central location is the charming quarter-hour chime of the nearby Wachtentor, which we actually grew to love. The beds were super comfy, the living area beautifully furnished, and we really appreciated the thoughtful touches—especially the local tourist info that helped us plan our days. The kitchenette was fully stocked, making it feel like a cozy home away from home. Hosts Marcel and Linda were fantastic—attentive, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. They even went above and beyond by arranging daily bike rentals for us, which made exploring the city a breeze. Highly recommend this place. Thanks again, Marcel and Linda!
