Hotel vacation rentals in Sigiriya

Alba and her Partner Manolo were great hosts: always super helpfull, friendly and attentively. They gave us good advice and helped us with organizing trips to Sigiriya, Kaudulla, Dambulla and Pollonaruwa. To visit all this sites Sat Nam Village is the best place to stay! Cause after an exhausting trip you can relax perfectly in the beautiful garden in a hammock under a tree or in the brandnew pool. And don’t forget the fooood! We really enjoyed the rice and curry prepared by one of the lovely ladies who are working on the property! It was delicious. If you need some variation they also offer great Spanish food prepared by Alba herself! We totally enjoyed our stay, would definitely come back and can highly recommend Sat Nam Village for a cultural but at the same time very relaxing stay!

We had a great stay at Sumedha's homestay. Sumedha was very kind to pick us up at the airport, arrange a safari and drive us around to the different attractions in the area. He and his family cooked some very nice meals for us and Sumedha was able to explain a lot about the local history, culture and Buddhism. We can only recommend staying at Sumedha's homestay. Thank you again!

The breakfast was delicious and the serving sizes were generous breakfast. It is conveniently located within walking distance to Sigiriya Lion Rock. The host was super friendly and helpful. However, the photos are not accurate as they display a thick blanket on the bed and like most of the accommodation in Sri Lanka, they only provide a thin sheet. The room was spacious but a few minor additions could have made it even better such as a kettle, shower gel and a thick blanket.

Asela is a great and very helpful host. He knows everything about local attractions and can organized anything you need. The place is very nice and clean, with friendly atmosphere. People around - kind and positive. I have only good memories about this stay!

Lovely people, Amazing value . Close to the famous Sigiri rock.

We stayed 4 nights at Asanka’s place and we really enjoyed it! We asked if we could we picked up in Habarana and that was no problem. We payed a little money for that, quite normal otherwise we should have paid a tuktuk driver. Asanka and his wife do speak English and are very helpfully with arranging trips or tuk tuk or where to catch a bus. The lady prepared us every morning the most delicious Sri Lankan breakfast, every morning something different! As we love Sri Lankan food we had every night dinner there. And 4 dinners later we still just loved it 😋! Every night the lady made different delicious curries and on our request some fish as well. A very good chef she is 🙏🏼! The place is great for bird watching and other animals. From the veranda you have a beautiful view on Lions Rock and the paddies. We have spotted many beautiful birds. After 3 nights our room, bathroom and everything was cleaned. We’re got fresh towels and sheets. We fully recommend this place!

It was a very nice stay at the Sunshine Villa. The host was very friendly and helpful. We were able to hire a scooter at a good price. The pool and the ambience is very nice.

This place is a really unique find. The rooms are large and beautiful. Very comfortable. The garden and pool are private and peaceful. Its the perfect retreat for recharging. The staff are so welcoming and so wonderful. I felt immediately that I had found a real gem 💎 i very highly recommend this place. Ehat you pay bad what you get is incredible. Great food too and they will help you organize your trio as well.

what a dream! apartaments clean and modern with totally affordable prices , stunning landscape around, everybody very helpful and the swimming pool : the cherry on top!

The staff is very helpful and friendly. They are locals and now the best people to guide. The pool is beautiful and the rooms are nice.

Our stay at Taru Villas was amazing, we highly recommend! The room itself (we had a chalet villa) was huge and one of the best rooms we have stayed in. Super king bed was so comfortable, with a day bed, couch and outdoor chairs to relax on as well. The bathroom is very well done, indoor/outdoor style and the shower was fantastic. The property is gorgeously set in the natural surrounds. The pool was brilliant: very large and the perfect temperature, we were just disappointed we didn't get to use it more due to the weather and having other things to see in the area! The restaurant was also lovely, great service, open air and good value with a good range of options. Overall we had a fantastic stay at Taru Villas and it was a stunning base from which to explore the area.

Very kind and friendly staff. Always helpful with recommendations for activities. Beautiful location with a good view of Lion‘s Rock. Nice restaurant with good food. All over I would recommend to stay here.

Linton is a great host. He has built the property himself with lots of love. we loved the undisturbed natural surroundings of the property. The tree top open rooms were unique, Sleeping with the jungle noises is a experience not to be missed. Linton was very helpful with our food choices. Since we are pure vegetarian and do not eat meat, fish or eggs, and do not prefer eating in mixed kitchens, Linton was super helpful and agreed to cook a pure veg breakfast for us using our own pan.

I liked the place a lot, it’s just has a beautiful view of fields. A bit away from center of sigiriye and quiet and peaceful . Rwan is a friendly helpful person,I enjoy his company. Recommend this place to people wants to stay and experience the energy of sigiriye .

It was a pleasure starting our experience in Sri Lanka with this place to stay! We felt at home and tasted what the Sinhalese welcome really means. We also ate with them very late at night and they not only satisfied us but everything was great and at a great price! Greetings to all of you friends and my four-legged friend see you again soon 😘

Sathishka was very friendly and his place was a pleasure to stay at. Breakfast was delicious and we were well looked after throughout our stay. If you’re ever looking for a place to stay that is a bit on the cheaper side, this is it.

Staying with them was great. We arrived a little earlier than expected and they were very kind in serving us and providing us with good hospitality. We felt welcome from the beginning. We felt that we were very welcome and we felt very good about it. The place is wonderful, it is a paradise,it was a pleasure being there. The breakfast at the hotel is fresh, and around the hotel, maybe 5 minutes by Tuktuk, there are good restaurants. Try the Curry!

The Naturaliza Hotel is charming, a favorite! The room we had was large, very comfortable, and we also enjoyed the garden, living room, pool and restaurant. All in a very zuthen nature environment. The staff is very attentive, responsive, friendly. For those who want a peaceful place, away from the tourist center, and living at the same time, it's perfect!

Unfortunately, we more than enjoyed our very short stay. The property is not far from local streets restaurants and Mount Sigiriya is only 10min away by car. You will be welcomed with damp cloths and drinks. Extremely attentive staff. You can get in touch with staff day or night because of any issues and everything else. The rooms are wonderful. In the middle of nature, with balcony in the green. But beware, as it is very (too) clean, there is a risk at low risk in the accommodation :D very nice complex also with pool area. We were surprised that the breakfast was included! It was wonderfully prepared with an explanation about the respective (typical Sri Lankan) products. We felt very comfortable and above all thanks to the loving, attentive employees. Thanks again for that.
