Really fantastic location. The room may be a bit basic, but this fit us really perfectly with the location. A 15-minute drive from the town of Sigiriya, but that was easy to do. The location was a kind of secluded compound and therefore an oasis of peace. Elephants seen nearby, a nice swimming pool and showering in the open air is lovely. Finally, the people were extremely sweet and were always there for us. Absolutely recommended if you want to experience two nights of rest in nature!

We had an amazing time at Lal‘s homestay! The hospitality of Lal and his family is absolutely great! You can have delicious homemade Sri Lankan Dinner -also the Kids loved it!! If you want to visit the sights of Dembulla, Sigiriya, Pollonaruwa and/or one of the national parks, we highly recommend Dinuka Village. The central location, though the room is quitely away from the main road, super friendly and helpful hosts, and bus stop in front of the place make this an ideal location. Beside the great guesthouse, Habarane itself is not the nicest town.
