We had the most perfect weekend staying at Claire’s cottage. We enjoyed looking around the grounds and having our own private space, the cottage and grounds were breathtakingly beautiful!. Claire went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect, my partner loved his birthday surprises- cannot thank you enough for everything you did! We will definitely be back for another stay :)

We had a great stay over New Years with friends. The general store is a few meters from the house, and a lovely pub in the village. Access to beautiful walks without needing to get into the car/ a very short drive away. There is no parking, but we didn't find it difficult to get a parking spot. Overall, loved our stay, thank you :)

A great place to stay, lovely views over the farm and great neighbours (cows and sheep). The place is much larger than we thought we were getting which was a nice surprise! Remember to bring milk and essentials as the closest shop is about 4 miles away.

Penny and her husband were so helpful and attentive. On the first night, we noticed that the TV wasn’t working well. I asked Penny for advice. She immediately came round to see what was the matter. Both her husband and her decided to go and buy a replacement TV on the spur of the moment. Honestly it wasn’t needed but they insisted. We were overwhelmed by their kindness and efficiency by ensuring that we would enjoy our weekend by accessing the smart TV. Once the replacement TV arrived in the following hour, everything was resolved then. We were very happy! Then the following night, I had issues charging up my EV. Again Fiona came to my rescue. I felt awful being a burden on her but she was so patient and helpful. She took me to an alternative EV charging point round the corner - everything was fine in the end. Amazing first class service from her and her husband all weekend. We would go back with NO HESITATION. Highly recommended! Thank you for everything xx

My husband and I had a lovely stay here with our puppy. the campsite was lovely and included everything you would need such as kettle microwave etc, and the dining area is especially helpful too. The area is lovely and there is 2 pubs within a short walking distance both of which are dog friendly and serve great food we particularly enjoyed the gate inn. The area is beautiful and there is lots to see and do we would love to come back again to this site to see some of the places we didn’t get the chance to go, Thankyou Caroline for a lovely break away and for being a welcoming and accommodating host throughout our stay.

What a wonderful stay. I was able to concentrate on my work and could easily go for some fresh air as plenty of places to explore within minutes of the annex. Supermarket is 0.4 miles away so within easy walking distance. The neighbourhood has a lovely calm feel as does the Annex. Tony and Svetlana were welcoming and warm. Would happily stay here again and if I come with the family, then I will rent their bungalow instead.

We visited during a cold spell in January, with lots of snow everywhere and well below zero temperatures. Unfortunately the boiler had just broken, I was offered a full refund but decided to come anyway. We just about managed to stay warm with portable heaters, extra blankets and layers. The house was cozy and clean, and is situated in a nice area just out of Sheffield. Giulia was very friendly and helpful. As it was a weekend Giulia and her son were both home. The room in the attic is great, but the steep wooden stairs can be a little tricky for those with limited mobility, my dog didn't like them and slept on the landing below. All in all a pleasant stay.

Great second stay at Alison’s place. Really appreciated the location and spaciousness of the house. We had the 2 bedrooms booked and enjoyed the house to ourselves as Alison was away. Great family dinners, thanks for the flexibility. Good comms. The house is in quiet area with easy parking. Cigarette smell in the house but not surprised as it is mentioned in description. Lovely glass art everywhere. We’ll be happy to come back.

A very nice, warm, comfortable bedroom for a quiet night's sleep. Easy to reach bathroom. Good supply of towels. The TV was a bit complicated, I couldn't get BBC1 ,2 nor C4. Parking spaces available nearby in the road.
