Scott’s place was lovely, clean and well maintained, the lodge is secluded and quiet in the evenings, all of the items in the lodge were top quality, couldn’t turn the coffee machine on and could do with some bbq utensils but overall super impressed

We had a wonderful stay at Rosewall Cottage. It was extremely peaceful and the cottage cozy and comfortable with everything we could have needed. We loved seeing the chickens in the garden and listening to their funny little noises! Lia was very responsive and sent a brilliant mini video showing the street view of the property, making the cottage super easy to find. A fantastic place to stay for my uncles 80th birthday surprise. Thank you Lia, you are a great host.

Lovely little Shepard’s hut with hot tub. It was very clean and Penny was very friendly and responsive but did not intrude. Beautiful surrounding areas and a really nice pub just down the road which is always a bonus. A great spot for a relaxing break in the Peaks.

This place is a little part of countryside heaven. There is everything you need to have a great time! Hot tub is 10/10! And you can come without your dog ❤️ Thank you Corinne! 💐

We had a fantastic time at Winstons house , everything you needed was right there ! The walks straight from the property were fantastic ( thanks Winston for all the help and pointers ) . local pubs 5 minutes walk with great food too . we will be back

Lovely place to stay, it was beautifully clean and very cozy. The hot tub was lovely. Would definitely recommend. Only issue we found was parking was a bit tricky outside the cottage as there were a lot of cars and the door was a bit difficult to lock/ unlock.

Had a fantastic time for special birthday celebrations. The property was spotless, in a fabulous location and Michelle communicated with us throughout and was always very helpful and friendly. Would love to return and highly recommend!

We had a great stay at Benjamin’s house. Comfortably accommodated 7 adults and 4 children. Benjamin’s communication was excellent throughout. The house is lovely and the photos don’t do justice to the amount of space. Very well equipped. Bakewell town centre is under 5 minutes walk away. Playground and pub also very close. Located on a quiet cul de sac with enough space on the drive for three cars. Would highly recommend.

Great location for both the City and Peaks. Open plan living area gave plenty of space for 6 adults, an infant and a pet. The place was well-equipped and well-thought-out with everything we needed.

Terri was at the property when we arrived and keen to show us around. This was a weekend to celebrate my wife's 60th. There was 7 adults, 2 children and 3 dogs. The cottage met our needs in every way and Terri was a wonderful host. We used the old hall inn twice and also the green lane social across the road from the cottage, both were brilliant. Nothing negative to post at all. Thanks 😃

Lovely clean, comfortable and welcoming home. Really well equipped kitchen, super comfy beds, nice lounge. Bathroom has a lovely big bath and really good shower. Close enough to town centre and good bus and train transport links. Local shops and takeaways on the door step. Be warned walk to Buxton town steep on the way back! Overall fabulous stay in a lovely home.

Beautiful home and excellent hosts. Always ready to answer any questions we had and popped by when we needed help Would 100% stay here again. The home is well equipped and decorated to a high standard. The area is peaceful and perfect for a getaway. We was here for a friend's wedding, so didn't get to explore the area too much but the house was a great place to relax after a long day. Thanks to Robbie & Kelly for being excellent hosts.

A gorgeous stay! Exceeded our expectations. All the nice little touches, like the freshly baked goodies, ample teas, coffees, hot chocolates and marshmallows, really added to the experience. The property is beautifully decorated and had everything we needed for our stay. The location is really peaceful and not far to walk in to Holmfirth centre. We would definitely visit here again!

What a wonderful weekend we had! I celebrated my 60th birthday there. A charming Barn with lots of character. Lovely & welcoming with a special cake and birthday decorations. Treats & a bed for the dog too! All my family thoroughly enjoyed it! Lolly, the facilities manager, was really friendly and helpful before we arrived and available all weekend with any issues we had that were resolved so quickly. Thank you Lolly! We had a wonderful stay at the Farmhouse - the postcode took us to the farm, but the cottages were close by and easy to find. The kitchen was very well stocked with crockery and there was plenty of space for 10. The kids loved the swimming pool and football field. Highly recommended.

Great value for money. Can't stress enough how friendly and reliable the staff were. We had a lovely week stay, the house was clean, the beds were comfy and the scenery was perfect. We were informed of the booking system for the swimming pool and games room, so you could have the room to yourself which was great. The pool was clean, the games room was kept tidy and the house surroundings were really lovely to walk around. You can tell the grounds were well maintained and kept in good shape as the workers never stopped, but were always so friendly. This property is perfect for bike riders, walkers and pub crawlers. You couldn't get bored.

We loved our stay at the cottage. Festively decorated and we had a nice welcome surprise on arrival. Check-in was super easy and we had quick replies with any queries we had. Comfy beds and vintage decor and furniture. Only negative was that I thought the radiator in the double room wasn’t working, until check out day when I realised it was just turned down to zero! So I was chilly most nights! 🤣. The swimming pool was great and we had it all to ourselves which was a bonus. I didn’t see the games room but friends kids that visited had a great time there. I would recommend and I would stay again for sure!

We stayed in the main farm house in a group of 6. The house was beautiful, spacious and comfortable in every room. The garden was large with a hot tub, outdoor seating and sand pit for the kids. Loved the fact you can feed the goats, there was a full guide to recommended places nearby for days out and places to see or visit. The host was really lovely and available to help whenever we needed. We would definitely love to come back here and see more of the surrounding areas and especially chatsworth house and gardens. Highly recommend for anyone wishing to have a chilled, peaceful holiday and for people wanting to get out and see the beautiful local towns, history and days out with the kids. Thanks for a fantastic stay!

We had a wonderful stay at Annabel’s and will definitely be going back asap! It was perfectly peaceful with gorgeous surroundings and was even better than the pictures! The pool was much bigger than we thought and was such a joy to have, the decking area was huge with stunning views and the garden truly magical! This was great value for money! Annabel was a fantastic host and very helpful and friendly and the animals were all very friendly too! The cats didn’t come to close though as we had our dog, who had a dream just roaming free! Thanks Annabel, be back soon !

We really enjoyed our stay in the cottage. The setting is so beautiful and peaceful. We felt immediately relaxed when we arrived. It was lovely to see the geese and chickens wandering about as well. The cottage was ideal and felt really cosy and well equipped.

Lovely property at Eider Cottage - photos probably dont do it justice. Great location to head out to some of the walks up at Holme. Little bit hard to find but that adds to the charm of the village.
