A very nice weekend in an old cottage with lots of character. We did not spend a lot of time in the cottage, however, the time we did spend was very comfortable with all that you require to make it feel like home. The host was great with communication and a welcome message that made everything nice and easy. Overall, a great place to stay if you want home comforts and a base from which to explore the south coast and stunning surrounding areas.

Hannah is simply a delightful and insightful host. Very kind and graciously accommodating to our queries and needs. Not only is the environment warm and lovingly filled, it’s spacious and giving with memories, laughter and gleeful spells. Located in a very safe and welcoming neighborhood, that has an enchanting morning light; we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the kids were ridiculously giddy with excitement to explore the toys and books available. The bungalow was lovely with very comfortable sofas and the coffee machine a great addition. There were a few issues but Jamie was very responsive and went to a great effort to rectify the situation with great communication. Would recommend the gin distillery tour in Chatham and a take away from the taste of India. Overall Jamie was a great host who definitely cares about guest experience and I would recommend a visit to the bungalow.

Excellent property. Owners were really nice. Can’t wait to go again when the pool is open. Went to a local pub called Coach & horses, excellent food there. We took our dog and owners kindly asked if we kept her on the lead when in garden of property as they have sheep but there’s a massive field with a woodland walk out back so was fine to let off the lead then. Barn is exactly as described. There’s some good little board games there and our kids got a bit obsessed with cluedo. Was expecting to be chilly as it’s a barn but the underfloor heating makes it really warm and cosy. Will definitely come back.

Fantastic, quirky, cosy, clean cottage, with everything you needed it really was home away from home. Lots of extras in cottage which was lovely. Very well equipped kitchen. Comfy beds and I loved all the pictures and light fixtures. Easy reach to beach and so many great walks, shops on your door step. Our dog totally loved it and was made very welcome. Will definitely stay again thank you

fantastic stay with Bethany, we rented the place for some of our team that travelled overseas. checked the place out, and popped in on the guys, was a beautiful town house just at the start of the Hanover area, lovely bare brick walls, beautiful stairs, very well maintained and cleaned. in terms of a host, responded really well, very helpful and nice to talk to. five starts from us!

My wife and I loved Fiona's flat! We were in town for the Hastings Jack-in-the-Green May Day parade and festivities and the location in the lovely and historic Old Town couldn't have been better. The decor was tasteful and the whole place was clean and just felt like home after a couple of long days out. Fiona was also the most gracious host, with friendly and helpful communications. She let us drop our luggage off quite a bit before check-in and after meeting her, she's just a great person you'd like to be around :) This was our first trip to the lovely seaside town of Hastings, but, after such a great all-around experience, it won't be our last. We stayed for 4 nights in April 2025, 2 adults and 2 children (9 and 13). Fabulous stay, the cottage is lovely and tucked away from the road. The hot tub was a big hit and made the stay that little bit more amazing! Excellent host and a lovely cottage, we will be back.

Just got home from a lovely 6 night stay at Steven’s caravan. Steven was always extremely responsive and helpful. The caravan is situated right next to the amenities which was a bonus. The caravan was clean and tidy upon arrival and had essentials like toilet roll, hand wash, cleaning supplies and washing up supplies. Steven also provides tea coffee and sugar. The fire in the living room is a bit temperamental but with patience does the job once lit. We would definitely stay in this listing again! Thank you.

Dale went the extra mile to make us feel at home, with a bottle of fizz, biscuits and flowers as we were celebrating a 90th and 30th birthday this weekend. Her property was even bigger than we realised (we were all blown away by the bathrooms!) and perfect for our group of 9. It’s easily walkable to lovely restaurants and the beachfront. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to visit the area.

Sarah’s place was wonderful! We were supremely comfortable and at home, as was our dog. Although in a little complex of 3/4 homes, we were very private and didn’t feel overlooked at all. There were great walks across fields right from the front door and the surrounding area offers plenty to see & do. Definitely recommend this place, especially in the spring!

This is a beautiful home from home, it felt like staying with friends. We visited at Easter and there were two chocolate rabbits waiting for the kids, which was a lovely touch. The kitchen, living area and main bedroom are spacious and this is a great area. Close to the beach, train station, bars and restaurants. A lovely stay and we’d go back again.
