Monthly Rentals in Shawangunk

The place is beautiful, and easy to find. The view over the river is stunning, especially during autumn at sunrise. Place was clean and tidy and very easy to live in. I was able to make use of the washer in the basement for my clothes and hung them up to dry in my room. The train does love to sound its horn at all hours of the night (well past midnight) and it goes on for a up to a few minutes non-stop. Earplugs were provided though, and I didn't use them. I was not awoken by the train once asleep, but I certainly heard it while trying to get to sleep. Something to consider, but really not a major issue. Would recommend to all.

We were so fortunate to find this airbnb - a perfect place for the 4 week stay between the sale of our home and the closing of our condo. The space is larger than what the photos show. There was great storage for all the many belongings we brought along to be comfortable during the extended stay, and we were comfortable. Melissa was very welcoming and helpful with any questions we had. A lovely family. New Paltz in the autumn is so beautiful. We did day trips exploring the surrounding areas, seeing places we've never been to before, and revisiting some of our long time favorites. Melissa's place is one off the last homes on a dead end street - very private and quiet. Her two school aged children and those in the neighboring houses are delightful. We wholeheartedly recommend this airbnb which would be ideal for any season.

Perfect getaway. Beautifully furnished and maintained. Spotless! Contemporary furnishings and appliances. Beautiful place.

What an amazing space, shower and bathroom was small but the rest of the place and the location really made up for it and more. It’s a downstairs place but they were so quiet upstairs that I didn’t even know they were there. I cannot wait to stay again this will be my new go to place when going to New York.
