We feel at home and we were nicely surprised with the careful decoration in every corner as well as how warmth is the environment, everything works well and it’s prepared to live at you do in your own place.

Peggy’s Holt was an ideal location to explore Lymington and the New Forest. It is within walking distance of the main town but far enough away to be a quiet place to stay. All facilities that would expect, with parking just outside. A clean and cosy place with a secure garden, ideal for our dog to enjoy some fresh air and bark at the birds.

Lots of free parking in the vicinity. Handy for a no frills stay.

We loved this property. So beautifully decorated and very comfortable. It was the perfect holiday home for a relaxed few days on the IoW. The best thing was that all the basics were there which makes the first day so much easier! Oil, tea, sugar, washing up liquid...there was even some pasta and sauce in the cupboard! Milk was provided as well as a welcome basket of goodies. We will definitely recommend to others.

Wow what a gem. Such a lovely cosy home from home. We spent 5 nights at this beautiful place over Christmas visiting our daughter and her family. Wendy was so friendly and helpful and communicated well with all our questions. Bed was so comfortable and managed to get some much needed extra sleep. Kitchen well equipped, sofa and chairs super comfy. Loved the colour coordination and the extra touches. Nice Christmas chocolates and milk tea coffee sugar etc. Really nice walk on the Red Squirrel Trail straight from the doorstep. We will definitely return and highly highly recommend. We loved the quirky decor and comfy beds. The stairs are not only steep but very shallow - think going downstairs with your feet sideways but we got used to it. Enjoyed the no TV experience but some might find it a challenge. Great response when we raised issues. Waitrose and Co-op in easy walking distance. Managed to park close by every day but it was December. Would really like to stay again in nicer weather. We would really revisit in the spring or autumn.

Fantastic location especially for walking the dogs, there was a very local park area and beaches very near. Enclosed garden was perfect for the dogs and amazing sunny spot. The house was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Would definitely come and stay again :) thank you

Lovely, spacious house right by the beach with great views. Communication was great - we had a minor snag with the heating system and Jess & Yas were so quick to sort it. The kitchen is perfect for hosting dinners, the living room is so cosy with the fire and the conservatory is a sun trap!

We had a wonderful family pre Christmas get together weekend at park Dale Cottage. The house was in a beautiful spot and we found it spacious and well laid out for our extended family needs. Kate was welcoming and available if we had any questions. We really enjoyed walks into the local area and definitely needed our walking boots to go across the field into the woods which are beautiful and full of ponies! The kitchen area was well equipped, the beds comfy and it was perfect for young children with the lovely selection of toys and outside play area. We loved the big open plan space it was very social . Thank you Katie for the welcome hamper food bits. We really had a perfect weekend, thank you.

The mobile home had everything you needed for a short stay. It was very clean, the decor was nice and well-equipped. The location was well maintained but quiet, within reach of the beach and shops.

We had a wonderful stay with all our family to celebrate a special birthday - we loved the house, all able to eat together around the table was wonderful, enjoying chatting and drinking in the beautiful lounge and the younger ones loved the hot tub and braver ones the swimming pool. Great position for all the lovely New Forest areas and walks

Just had a wonderful 2 night stay with our 3 young children. It was a cosy and homely base for our exploring, and we thought the added extras of tea/coffee/biscuits were lovely. We hope to return in future :) thank you!

Had a lovely stay with family. Everyone had a great time and enjoyed the property and surrounds. The living area was inviting and convivial with a cosy log fire. The host was very friendly, helpful and responsive, going out of her way to accommodate and make our stay memorable. Definitely recommend.

Fantastic location for walking & exploring. The barn is beautifully presented and stylishly furnished. Very spacious. Loved seeing the Llamas on our morning walk with our dog - on our doorstep. The New Inn pub down the road - Victoria’s tip - awesome, friendly, great food at a sensible price - try the venison or brill filets! Our only regret was that we didn’t stay for longer. Lovely homely cottage with some thoughtful touches such as hand-cream and pump soaps and the torches as it was dark at night. Dog friendly providing a space for them to sleep and a garden for them to play in. Very comfortable bed and sweet courtyard off the bedroom for eating breakfast in the sunshine. Excellent electronic guide and all information very useful. Comfortable and homely lounge, en-suite and another bathroom. Well equipped kitchen. Great for two people and would highly recommend. Very close to beach and village all walkable. A great airbnb!

This is our second Christmas here and was simply perfect. The place is impeccably decorated, convenient, with everything you could need - even a Christmas tree. David is the perfect host.

Really lovely, clean, spacious and comfortable home. We loved the extras, like games and beach things, so no need to buy for holiday. Some things, like coffee maker and older video games not working, but no worries, there was a french press and plenty to do. Bit far for us to walk to the seafront with the kids. Unfortunately, they closed the road for maintenance work for most of our stay, but the crew was nice and we managed to get in/out, even if our sat nav didn't like the detours.

The apartment was quite and the check in was made easy with a video. The place was lovely with a terrace with table and chairs to sit in. It was about a 15 minute walk into town . But is a nice walk by the sea . I would recommended it. The owners wife was very helpful with taking my suitcase down the outside stairs

As always, fantastic break with Gordon. His caravans are the only place we ever stay in southsea/Portsmouth area, you cant get a better host.

We had such an enjoyable weekend and our hosts were fantastic. A lovely weekend getaway in the New Forest. I don't think I'll ever book a hotel room again after this incredibly relaxing and luxurious experience

The Annexe was a very comfortable bungalow . Felt like a home from home.
