We absolutely loved our stay here! What an incredible piece of property, the perfect place for our family to get together and relax. Would highly recommend this place to anyone coming to the area (we were dropping off our son at Ft Eustis)…really can’t say enough about how much we all enjoyed staying here. Long term stay dream! The property is a peaceful oasis directly on the Chesapeake Bay! Feels small town safe and is tucked away in nature yet the best possible location in the center of Hampton Roads!! Being able to walk down my stairs and hop on a kayak made each day feel like vacation! The joy of spending time with all the wildlife, plus visiting their chickens and ducks. But what made this stay truly special was the family. Bodie and his family are some of the kindest, most loving, and helpful people I've ever met. They made me feel right at home from day one and went above and beyond in every way, all the way up to date 105! This wasn’t just a place to stay, it became a second home. I can’t recommend this wonderful family and property enough!
