I can not recommend this house and Ben the host enough. The house is beautiful, homely and has a fantastic amenities to accommodate our stay. The house is huge, we couldn't believe the amount of space we had. It is an amazing location, within a few minutes walk of all the top spots of Brighton. Ben is great for offering tips and recommendations of things to do and places to go in the local area. Thank you so much Ben, we will certainly be back the next time we are in Brighton.

We had an amazing 3 nights with our small family! The caravan is great, well laid out, equipped and clean. Great selection of games plus the TV and WiFi were convenient. The afternoon sun on the terrace was relaxing and beautiful. The holiday park was small but very friendly. We went swimming in the pool every day and couldn’t believe how close we were to the beach (would’ve taken advantage of that more had the weather been a touch warmer, alas!) The facilities close by (as signposted by Shirley) were fab - harbour, walks and shopping complex. We had a day trip to Battle (1066 Battle of Hastings) which was great and interesting for the whole family. Very much recommend staying with Shirley and will likely stay again ourselves! Fabulous place to stay for a quiet and peaceful rest. Stunning surroundings over looking a lake. Beautifully presented cabin with all the amenities you could wish for. Very welcoming host Fern who was very friendly and informative. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this as a great place to stay and look forwards to returning there again at some point.

Beautiful, spotless, comfortable house with a nice outdoor space. Lianne is great at communicating with you and the pillows are so comfortable, meant to look to see who made them. Would definitely recommend

The property is perfectly placed for the quayside where the wonderful Thames Sailing Barges are tied up. A place to park the car is a considerable advantage. Michele is an exceptional and very likeable host. She was helpful, kind and perceptive. She realised we were elderly, not in perfect health and might have various problems. She anticipated them and provided solutions in advance! We felt fortunate to stay in her lovely property.

The pods are well laid out and come with everything you need. The hot tub was lovely with beautiful views across the fields.

We had a truly wonderful retreat at the ÖÖD House the design of the house is incredible—being inside feels both cosy and luxurious, yet you’re completely immersed with nature. Watching the birds, ducks, and other wildlife so closely was such a special experience. Even though the weather wasn’t that great, it didn’t affect us at all. The layout of the house is very well thought out. The shower was fantastic, and the hot tub was absolutely perfect—hot and relaxing. We also had a lovely barbecue and spent time feeding the fish right from the deck. There were plenty of them, and they would come right up to be fed—it was surprisingly therapeutic and calming. Overall, this was a very unique and memorable stay. we enjoyed our time and would definitely love to return.

This was a unique stay - exactly as shown in the photographs, the Mill has been renovated by Clare with love and style in equal measure and is a very special place to stay. We saw it when Sandi Toksvig visited for her travel programme and I vowed to visit at some point. A beautiful spot with lots to do around it in gorgeous Kent. Highly recommend visiting Dixter House and Gardens btw.

A really enjoyable stay. Loved the location being so close to sea with a fabulous view. A good walk into town centre and the Lanes or buses run past the property. Lise was a fabulous host. Really helpful in accomodating us and responsive to any requests. The penthouse located at the top of a beautiful house was comfortable, warm and inviting. Everything we needed was provided to ensure our weekend stay went smoothly, with clear instructions on how to enter & how the heating works etc. Milk & bottled water, along with teabags & coffee were also provided. The beds were comfortable, as was the sofa. I am a very light sleeper so brought ear-plugs seeing as the house is on a main road. I would most definitely book again.
