Good value, considering how expensive private rooms are. Close to bus stations, about a 15 min walk to metro. Near little India and a few food centers. Definitely check out the scissor cut curry rice restaurant on the corner nearby - it was a staple for my 1am jet lag hunger! Bed was clean and included a locker underneath for your bags. Bathroom could’ve been a bit cleaner but you get what you pay for. The bathroom/shower area is exposed to the outside, which is interesting. Communal lobby/dining area was a nice hang - AC’d, WiFi, and had coffee/tea/snacks accessible for guests.

We absolutely loved our stay at Addie’s place! It’s super safe, welcoming, and spotlessly clean—a cozy spot that’s been decorated with warmth and thoughtful touches (we were delighted to find chargers on both sides of the bed!). The setup was very private, with our own bathroom, and the neighborhood has a cozy vibe with delicious local food options nearby. The bus stop is just a short walk away, making it easy to get into the city in 30 minutes, and it’s only 25 minutes to the airport by car. The bedroom has excellent soundproofing; you can’t hear anything from outside, although in the bathroom, you can catch the soft hum of traffic. We actually found this oddly relaxing, like a constant stream with no honking whatsoever. Addie was incredibly helpful and supportive, always available to answer our questions while respecting our privacy completely. We fell in love with Singapore and will definitely be back, and when we do, Addie’s place will be our first choice—if it’s not already

The apartment is very well equipped. It has a big wardrobe and several drawers. Thus, it is also super suitable for a longer stay. In the immediate vicinity there are bakeries where you can get your breakfast at a reasonable price. A small Hawker Center is also just a few steps away, where many locals enjoy the delicious food. We traveled exclusively by public transport. Several bus stops are not far from the apartment.

Great place, super friendly and responsive staff. Spotlessly clean. And I got a birthday treat during my stay which is very touching!
