Vacation rentals with lake access in Seneca Lake

Staying at Mara's house was exactly what we needed to welcome in 2025. The house itself is immaculate, well appointed, comfortable and has incredible lakefront views to tie it all together. Getting around the Cayuga Lake area was so easy from where the house is located and there are even some incredible wineries and breweries minutes away. The layout and setup of the house was very thoughtfully done and everything we needed (and more) was there. 10/10 excellent stay.

12 of us woman gather every year to shake off the hustle of the holidays. We have visited a new site every year , and nothing has been as perfect for us as Josh’s Camp Run Location. This vacation home is exactly what it boasts . -Beautiful view of the lake from both floors - Clean, comfortable, durable furniture. - Great cellular reception - clean flooring and carpets - plenty of space to stow baggage and carried in items. -Within walking distance of eateries and craft beverages. - Quick and helpful service from the Hosts. The best part was was the company we kept and Josh’s place will brings us all back together! We all agreed, It was excellent!

Second time we’ve stayed here and I’m sure there will be a 3rd! Beautiful spot, dog friendly, clean and peaceful! Absolutely no complaints! Thanks for a great weekend!

This Airbnb was the perfect fall getaway! We visited the lake to soak in the autumn vibes, and this spot exceeded our expectations. There was plenty of room for our group of five, and the host’s recommendations made our trip even better. While the area is known for summer fun, I think fall might be the best time to visit. We had an amazing time exploring the charming shops, cozy restaurants, and stunning waterfront spots, plus the nearby vineyards are a must-see. Can’t wait to return next year when the leaves are changing again—absolutely loved our stay!

Our stay was great! Very spacious and great location. The views of the lake were beautiful! Nancy provided so much and made us feel very welcomed. She provided even some nice surprises and had great recommendations. Loved the location! The only downside for us personally (because we have children) you cannot swim off the dock. Under the water, it is covered with grass/seaweed. So even Nancy recommended not to swim there. HOWEVER, it made it the PERFECT place to fish! Which we did and caught so pretty big fish. We had a blast fishing. So it just depends on what you want for an on the water site. Don't care to swim? Then definitely have to check out this place!

My family and I had a great stay over the holidays. The place was as described, with three good sized bedrooms, nice bathrooms, and plenty of common space. Very dog friendly and games available to keep everyone occupied. It’s nicely set back from the road to feel more private and allow the dogs to roam in the yard without worry. We did leash the dogs by the lake because it was partly frozen but not totally. We enjoyed spending time by the fire and watching the snow fall, beautiful spot!

Carolyn's lake house is incredible. Our group only stayed for a night, but it was such a great time. The house has fantastic amenities, and the views of the lake are gorgeous. Make sure to take advantage of everything the house has to offer, especially the kayaks and canoes. Carolyn herself was also very kind and easy to communicate with. All in all, highly recommended, even for a short stay!

A lovely, impeccably appointed, and yet affordable cottage right on Lake Cayuga and minutes from the center of Ithaca and Cornell. . Robert provides prompt and personal service to his guests. Highly recommended.

This was a perfect stay on Waneta Lake. Host was responsive and helpful. Would recommend.

Amazing views and close to some of the best wineries in the area. Hot tub is across the street and provides great views of the lake and stars. Joan was an awesome host. She provided us coffee, snacks, and was very responsive. She met us upon arrival and pointed out things to note which was much appreciated.

We really enjoyed our stay at this great location! Walkable to great restaurants and shops in the Exchange St area. The unit was spotless! So clean and well kept. Bed was super comfortable - mattress felt new. Bedding and pillows were high quality and clean. The bathroom was small but very clean and very well equipped with shampoo, conditioner, soaps. Plenty of towels and toilet paper (believe it or not, this is uncommon!) kitchen was very well equipped with everything you could possibly need. Cold, filtered water in the fridge was a nice touch and appreciated. Highly recommend! We will be back!

Seth and Annie are ALWAYS great hosts when my family comes from out of town to stay! Their place is absolutely beautiful, clean, great artwork throughout, just the right amount of kitchen space for the length of the stay. Thank you!

The crow's nest is extremely cozy and comfortable. This place was clean, provided many amenities including cookware and was very quiet and it is a very quick walk to the lake from the house. This is my second time staying here and once again felt like I was right at home. The space is wonderful and nicely appointed. Erika, the host, was quick to respond and friendly. If you are planning a trip to Penn Yan or just passing through, the Crow's Nest is the place to stay. Cannot wait to stay here again. Thank you Erika.

Loved staying at the cottage! Very peaceful, perfect for one person or a couple visiting Geneva. Quick drive to town but in a quiet area. Would absolutely stay here again!

David & Debby are wonderful hosts! We had a cold and rainy weekend for our stay, but their cozy home was just perfect to keep us warm and snug. Comfy beds, squeaky clean, and such a beautiful view. We will definitely be back!

We absolutely loved staying in Megan's House. We definitely would love to return someday. Roy and Molly are wonderful hosts. The place was clean and comfortable. Just be aware the shower area is small and a larger person may have difficulty using it. We also came at dark and it is a little off the beaten path, but we'll worth it.

Kent is awesome! And so is his place. Timely responses. Beautiful home. Gorgeous winter wonderland as we looked out over the beautiful frozen lake. Everything was perfect. Can't wait to visit in the summer!

Fantastic lake house, spotlessly clean, and exactly as described. Tons of thoughtful touches. The host Katie was great to communicate with - responses were always timely. This was a well thought out vacation rental that had everything a person needed for a comfortable stay. Finding the place, checking in and out was easy. After we checked in Cate e-mailed to see if there was anything we needed. I would not hesitate to rent this house again

Jesse’s cottage was super cozy. It felt like our home away from home. The location was in a pretty central spot. we weren’t far from any of the wineries. The backyard view of the lake was stunning. We would definitely stay at Jesse’s cottage again.

What a lovely weekend for a ladies’ winter retreat! We loved this beautiful little cottage and the gorgeous lakefront views. The kitchen was perfect for a group that loves to cook and the hot tub outside was a fun touch in these cold winter months. Thank you also for being so willing to accommodate an early check in with the bad weather so we could all arrive safely! As a side note, we all loved the artwork hanging throughout the home. A great gem in the Finger Lakes!

Such a cute cottage right in the Lake. Had everything you could possibly need and Kevin was very responsive in answering my questions. Had such a great time sitting on the deck watching the sunrise. We will be back!
