Places to stay in Searsport

Everything went smooth and was an excellent accommodation and location in downtown Portland for walking to restaurants, bars, and everything downtown Bar Harbour and close access to Acadia. Traveled with my wife and two adult sons.

We can't thank Christie enough for her kindness and warm hospitality. From the first, she was welcoming and responsive. She was available to help, when needed, and offered ideas about places to go and fun things to do. Christie also gave practical advice on shopping, restaurants and 'touristing' our way around Acadia National Park . We were extremely grateful to be in an Airbnb on the 'quiet side' of Mount Desert Island. Our rental was clean, comfortable and well-appointed, and after many hours exploring MDI, it was great to return to Christie’s place to enjoy a glass of wine on a peaceful patio. Thank-you Christie for helping make our visit to MDI and Acadia National Park so memorable!

This is the second time we've stayed at this spot - we enjoyed it so much that we went back for more! We really enjoy the location just on the edge of town - quiet and easy walking distance from everything. The home is lovely and Brian is a wonderful host. We'd stay again - and probably will!

Great location. Walking distance to everything in Bar Harbor. No hassle finding and spend money on Parking.

We very much enjoyed our stay - the location was great, the rooms were very clean and comfortable. So much better than a hotel. We will choose to stay here again when we go to Bath.

Once the owners were made aware of the check in issues, they worked incredibly fast to rectify the situation. I am very happy with this booking and will be staying here again!!

Very cute cabin with a beautiful view! Close drive to Schoodic Peninsula, the quieter side of Acadia, and close enough to the other parts of the park and Bar Harbor to enjoy a day visit there. Don was a fantastic host, providing tips on hikes, restaurants, and more. Highly recommend! Hope to be back soon!

This was the greatest experience!!! Jennifer was amazing! The house was impeccable!!! We had the most wonderful time and can't wait to book again. Not only was the house beautifully renovated, furnished, and decorated--but the history that was preserved and/or recreated was so special for our family. There were so many places that everyone could come together or have our own space. The games and good times were flowing. It was so comfortable all around from our host's communication and offerings to locking up and wishing we were staying longer... waking up on the lake was magical. Thank you so much for such a special place!!

Our stay at the Lewis Cottages was perfect. We spent most of our day in Acadia National Park, and when we were tired and ready to turn in we had all the information we needed from Lisa and Jay to easily access our room. The room was clean and well-furnished. We will recommend this stay to anyone who wishes to enjoy this gorgeous part of Maine!

Wow, this treehouse was just amazing! Toni was an excellent host and really made our stay special. The lake was beautiful and the treehouse was so cozy. Even in mid October this was a great trip. The lobster pound and Acadia National Park are must see’s along with the Belfast farmers market. Our friends will be hearing about this place!

The Milk House is a special place. Incredibly comfortable, cozy and clean! Lots of short hikes, nature preserves and beautiful rocky coastlines. Kitchen and bathroom has everything you will need for your stay.

My husband and I stayed at Amy's place while visiting Acadia National Park and a few surrounding towns! It was a perfect little base camp with plenty to do in town as well. Amy's place was SUPER clean, well equipped and easy to find. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a nice place to stay at a reasonable price!
