The Bothy

AlexRating, 5 stars3 months ago
Ashley and Simon’s cottage was such a lovely place to stay for me and my partner. The space was really well equipped with everything we could have needed and more. The hot tub outside offered a luxury relaxation spot where we could unwind every day. Located on a farm, we loved seeing the dogs running about as well as the black cat which helped us unpack our bags 😂. We have recommended this place to our friends, and are also interested in staying in the larger cottage on site ‘the Lodge’ with some friends in the near future. Thank you for making our stay so memorable 😄

Absolutely fantastic! This cottage exceeded all expectations. The breathtaking views alone are worth every penny, but the cozy, well-appointed interiors and thoughtful touches made our stay truly memorable. Perfect for a relaxing getaway—can’t recommend it enough!” Rating: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 (5/5)

5 Bed in Melrose (79418)

AlanRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Had a lovely stay in this property and location met our needs perfectly . Hot tub was worth paying a bit extra for . Flat would be ideal for a larger group as the rooms are very spacious and well equipped . Only comment would be that some information on car parking would be helpful for those not familiar with the area . We were unaware of the existence of a garage until after check in . I knew where to park without charge in Melrose but it would be helpful to provide this information to other guests . Thank you for our stay . I would definitely recommend to others .

Kielder Cottage - E3533

JaneRating, 5 stars3 months ago
Fantastic….The cottage was really super. Everything seemed to have been thought about, there was even dishwasher tablets available. It’s those little things which really help. Had a blip with heating which was immediately sorted out. Each of the 3 bedrooms are cosy in size but worked well for a short stay. We wanted for nothing. We had fabulous weather (September), which always helps with the outdoor activities available in the surrounding area. We had the most amazing stay and our hosts were excellent.

Self contained cottage private garden and hot tub

BenRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Beautiful cottage and felt right at home as soon as we walked in. Hot tub was ready for us on arrival and we had a cheese board set out for us when we arrived. The property was spotlessly clean and had all the amenities to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Paul was everything you’d want in a host, responsive, helpful and had some great recommendations for local places to eat. We’ll definitely be back!

Pentland Hills cottage hideaway

NiamhRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
Bartek and Kylie were extremely helpful and attentive hosts, the property is beautiful with stunning views and complete privacy. There is endless things to do at this Airbnb, whether that be enjoying the facilities inside ( lots of games and movies!), walks in the stunning surroundings or going further a field. We (unfortunately for our poor car that broke down) found local taxi companies, and takeaways really useful on this trip! There’s a lovely hike up East Cairn Hill which I would recommend.

Samieston Lodge

EmmaRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We had a great stay at Samieston lodge. It was really clean and felt homely with lovely views of the countryside and a comfy bed. The garden was the best and most secure that we have had for our dog and was big enough for him to have a good around in. We found some lovely walks and some great places to eat near by

The Hemmel, Old Town Farm

LornaRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
Had an absolutely wonderful stay here in chilli November but we were lovely and warm courtesy of the glorious wood burner and cosy duvet. The property itself was perfectly clean and spacious and brilliantly located for both coast and inland adventures. Kate was an amazing hostess, getting back to us in no time at all if we had any queries and happy to share her local knowledge to help us find our way around. Our only regret is that we didn’t take our dog. The secure garden would have been perfect for him and the boot room area the perfect place for wiping off muddy paws before he settled in front of the fire.

Cosy, welcoming cottage

AngelaRating, 5 stars3 months ago
Very comfortable stay with all we needed. The cottage was spacious yet cosy, would love to go back in the winter when it’s cold enough to have the fire lit. Glorious walks from the door and two great pubs within walking distance - what more could you want? The welcome pack was super - thank you!

Foulbog Shepherds Cottage

KateRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Have had a lovely few days at Foulbog. Time just to get away, relax and enjoy plenty of walks in the beautiful surroundings. Had everything we needed and was great that Asda delivered to the cottage. Perfect for our dog to run around and ideal with a fully enclosed garden. Lindsay was great in communication when getting there. We’d definitely book again when we need to get away from things. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Chestnut Cottage, Town Yetholm, Scottish Borders.

HelenRating, 5 stars1 month ago
A lovely cottage in a gorgeous setting. The cottage is very clean and cosy. The wood burner was great after a days walking. Kitchen was well-equipped with food essentials like oil, salt etc which was really helpful. The welcome basket was a real treat. The garden will be lovely if visiting in the summer. Thoroughly recommend the cottage in this lovely, quiet area of the Borders.

Cosy, Romantic Bolthole for 2 - Coveyheugh Lodge

NicoleRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Had such a relaxing weekend, exactly what you need when wanting to shut off from the world and relax. Was cold (to be expected due to it being built in 1800’s) however air con and heaters provided quickly solved this! Also there were plenty of blankets as well as hot water bottles to make it extra cosy. Loved the original features as well as a shout out in the welcome book to the original occupants and history of the place, very interesting! We took our 2 cats and they quickly found and made themselves comfortable on the provided dog bed. Only thing was the water pressure wasn’t as strong, however to be expected given we were out in the sticks which was where we wanted to be! So private as well. Overall, we loved this place and would visit again. We took our fire stick as we wanted to stream movies while we played games in the evening. Also, just have to mention that the soap provided smelled absolutely amazing! Communication was great before, during and after our visit.

Staying in the cottage in the Borders was magical. The cottage was decorated and fitted to a high standard with great beds! Everything was there: firewood that lasted us multiple days, but also tea and coffee. Communication with Kate was very smooth and helpful! We will definitely be back!

This is a lovely cottage which has been restored with great care and attention to detail. The location is ideal for exploring the Scottish borders and Northumberland. Having 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms was a great advantage. The host was very responsive and provided us with really helpful information about the cottage and aspects of the local area. The Contented Vine restaurant in Kelso was perfect for our evening out.
