A great place to stay when visiting Galashiels and Tweedbank. Lovely to be able to get there by train. A cosy flat with all we needed for a comfortable night. Later in the year, when the weather is warmer, there is a lovely view from the outside seating area around the back of the flat. Very clean and welcoming and Robert answered all questions promptly. Elaine, our host, was very flexible with assistance when we arrived and departed the flat, which was helpful. The flat was in a great area, which helped as we walked mostly everywhere in Edinburgh, without much difficulty. We ate out at Palmerstons on one evening, which is a five minute walk and was very enjoyable and then on the Lothian Road, again not too distant. The flat was very clean and spacious for four people and everything was advertised. If and when we come back to Edinburgh we will be sure to check availability with Elaine for our trip.

It was our first time visiting Edinburgh and we were greeted to a very lovely welcome from Claire with some Scottish treats! Such a nice touch. The apartment was the perfect location with much of what we wanted to do being about a 20-25 minute walk into the centre of the city. There are many very good restaurants in the local Bruntsfield area. The apartment was the perfect bolthole, spotlessly clean and tidy, excellent kitchen and comfy sofas and bed! Thanks for making our first visit cosy and comfortable Claire. We will be back!

Fantastic place, perfect location to explore Edinburgh with everything you need in your doorstep. Adam is a fantastic host, very accommodating and helpful, made it really easy to check in and enjoy our break. Would certainly recommend.

Paula and Robbie's place is compact and comfortable with everything needed. It was warm and we lacked for nothing. It was everything that they described and they were wonderful communicators. We would recommend their flat.

Organized house, better than the pictures look! The amenity left by the hosts made up for the distance and provided us with a lot of agility. Quick contact with the host, quiet neighborhood, and private location. I recommend it!

Situated in a quiet and safe part of Edinburgh, it was just a pleasant walk to both Old Town and Holyrood Park. This experience exceeded all our expectations. Highly recommended!"

Such a charming place, full of character, in an idyllic setting. The location is perfect to wander around one of the most popular and beautiful areas in Edinburgh with great amenities on the doorstep and an easy walk or bus ride to Princes St. and the hosts couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly. There were thoughtful touches throughout.. Can use one heat control for the entire house, which is convenient. Good wifi, good hot water in shower. Skye was very helpful, especially when I left something behind and she offered to ship it to me.

Everything went smoothly and the flat was clean, spacious, and quiet. The amenities, like washer and dryer, were wonderful. While the location was slightly off the common "tourist path," we actually appreciated that and it was an easy bus ride or Uber back to the flat each night. We also enjoyed the local pub and the food choices nearby. My only issue was the lack of communication about the 3 flights of stairs/no lift. This fact is mentioned in other reviews (as I see now), but not in the description of the property nor in the initial instructions for accessing the flat. The stairs themselves are not Ben's fault and as I learned on my 14-day journey through Ireland and the UK, accessibility is not a priority in these old cities. That's fine. But the lesson for me I guess is to read reviews a little more closely, as that's the only place the stairs are mentioned. I have bad knees so trekking up the stairs each night after a long day was, quite simply, torture. But still a great stay.

The place is amazingly beautiful and the surrounding is serene and safe. We immediately felt at home and loved the place so much that we extended our stay there. Ross is a very helpful and responsive host who went all the way out to respond to our inquiries. I would definitely reconmend Ross's place to others.

Amazing place with a very good location. Parking in the street very convenient because there is always space. Good communication and very clear instructions. I’ll definitely recommend the place to friends and I’ll love to stay there again

The apartment was just as described. Very clean & had everything we needed. The hosts were great at responding to messages & very helpful. Unfortunately we didn’t spend much time there but the location was perfect for us. Plenty of on street parking too!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We felt right at home and was lovely to come back and relax after a hard day being a tourist. There was 4 of us and so we each had our own room which was great. We asked for a late check as our flight home was going to be very late . It depended on whether there was a booking but Jing confirmed that we could and also we could leave our bags. This was amazing and we really appreciated this. He responded very quickly. We would recommend this place and would definitely stay there when we come again

Lovely place to stay. Directions were clear to follow but struggled to know which direction they were from. Outside area was great, lovely little sun trap! BBQ and hot tub were great. Hot tub had quite a bit of grit and dirt in it though which was a shame. Inside the arches was very cosy and had everything we needed for the short stay. Bed and bedding was comfy and clean, loved the thought of outside towels for the hot tub aswell as indoor towels. Not had this elsewhere and made such a difference. Bathroom was quite small but everything in it was great. Only downside was the boiler being noisy on and off during the night, even though heating wasn't on. We look forward to booking again for the apartment or cottage.

We had a great stay at this airbnb. It was located in a great spot near the local attractions. The pictures of the accommodation were accurate. Khanna was quick to respond to messages and helpful, and we didn't have any problems with our stay. I would recommend this airbnb!

Sabrina was always super responsive and helpful. the location is great and close to everything. Also Sabrina was kind and let us store our luggage for a few hours after checkout. we would definitely recommend!

Beautiful apartment. Was greeted and warmly welcomed. All the essentials were left for us in the kitchen including bread, butter, milk and even bottle of Prosecco to accompany us in the luxurious hot-tub. Worth the stay if you are visiting the area!

Very close to a lot of restaurants. Close to the places we wan to go even the castle. We had a great.

Very sweet family. Affordable place 25 mins from Edinburgh. Easy to get to using public transportation. Very safe, good for short stay.
