Castle vacation rentals in Saxony-Anhalt

I was a guest at Susanne's AirBnB for my state exam in Potsdam. Everything worked well, nice small modernized 2-room apartment, everything you needed with functional kitchen. Especially important for such an exciting time. All the more pleasant was the entire uncomplicated stay. Walking, you are 5 minutes to the bus or 10 minutes to the tram/S-Bahn stop. Parking is free on the street. A few restaurants, a small organic bakery and a delicious ice cream shop are just a few other shops nearby. The highlight is the proximity to Babelsberg Park with beautiful buildings, lots of greenery and paths along the water. I recommend Susanne's AirBnB.

A wonderful place to stay! Professionalism of a hotel with the AirBNB theme. Anke offered us a ride when we had troubles getting from the station to the castle which we grateful for as it saved us a late night forest walk. There was an entire closet of extra supplies and the kitchen was well stocked even with some food.

A superb experience in living history, this castle nestles in a quiet woodland by the small village of Dretzel. Very welcoming hosts and a completely relaxed atmosphere, we had the run of the place. Taking meals by candelabra in the same hall that Napoleon and his General Staff celebrated their victory over Prussia at Jena-Auerstedt in 1806, was just the touch we enjoyed. Some of us stayed in the tower, which was excellent as we had our own kitchen. We particularly liked the ‘pick your own room’ approach and I enjoyed my tour of the grounds with Phillipp on his golf buggy. This is a must stay. The history is enough.

What a place!! Wonderful apartment steeped in history. Super clean comfy and well equipped. Arnoud was so friendly and helpful. Nice pool and bar snacks etc too. So pleased to find this place.

Accommodation was amazing and the check in was simple. Highly recommend this location for special occasions.

We very much enjoyed our stay in the castle. The unit was very spacious and full of charm—you could even climb the tower. The location could not have been better with a bakery, Italian restaurant and market just steps away.

A very cool experience! The rooms were impeccable, shower and toilet were also completely sufficient. Frank is a great host and tells many great stories about the house! The nights were super quiet apart from some creaking floorboards, which makes sleeping buildings built in 1666 all the more authentic! We enjoyed the tranquility and nature in the courtyard very much and the dogs were in paradise. Lots to explore, both for people and four-legged friends! All in all: Again and again!

Great host; quirky set up which made it more interesting. Wish we had more time to enjoy the garden.
