A great place to stay. It was spotless, the beds were very comfortable, and the kitchen was stocked with all the desired amenities. Lester was friendly and communicated well. He cleared the snow before we arrived and offered to clear the snow again during our stay. We will be return customers and will recommend to family and friends.

Our stay at the cabin on the private lakefront property was nothing short of amazing! The view of the lake, especially during sunset, was absolutely breathtaking. The property had everything we needed for a perfect getaway—lots of amenities, including provided firewood and fire starters, which made evenings by the fire so enjoyable. There were plenty of outdoor activities to enjoy right on the premises, making it the ideal spot for relaxation and adventure. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind in a beautiful setting!

We stayed at Deven’s place for 5 nights and were very happy with the accommodations. Both my husband and I loved the firm Endy mattress as well as the cotton sheets. The location was perfect for our needs being only 3 minute drive away from family and work. The grocery store is a 5 minute walk away. The full kitchen was well equipped and we appreciated access to laundry in the basement. We didn’t need anything during our stay but found our host very responsive and friendly when communicating. Sadly they are booked for our next trip to the Sault in June. We have already recommended it to family and friends.

We had an amazing weekend getaway as a family! The pull out couch was perfect for two little boys and the bed in the room was very comfortable! Even with the massive amounts of snow the beach was beautiful and there were so many rocks to check out. 3 minutes down the road was a beautiful lighthouse and a long stretch of beach for when the boys needed to run it out. Plenty of hiking trails around the area and just under an hour to the falls which we love! Stephanie was such a delight everytime I had any questions. She responded quickly to everything and I could just sense that she had such love for her space and loved to share it with others. I’ve never felt like a host was so genuine and I wasn’t just receiving automated messages. Lastly, delicious pizza spot 10 minutes down the road, we had pizza 2/3 nights we stayed here. This cabin was such a treat even in the off season.

9 days was not long enough! Next time we hope to book a little longer. Once you’re there, you can’t leave. It’s that amazing. Worth every penny. Kai & Emily were excellent hosts and super accommodating. Spent some quality time both outside and inside, and lucked out with temps in the mid twenties and sunshine. If you have a canoe or kayaks, be sure to bring them. If you don’t, we promise you will regret it. Plan is to return for future conferences in the Soo and no matter what comes up, we will do our best to book again during the fall colour blitz. It’s beyond breathtaking. We stayed for about a week, and it was great. I couldn’t believe how clean everything was. The location feels right at home in the UP. It was very cozy, and offered modern amenities while still maintaining the comfort of being in the woods. It was easy to find and easy to access. We very much enjoyed our stay in the winter, and plan on staying again the summer!

We took our family up to snow mobile from GA, luckily the snow was perfect for our trip. The house location is near enough to everything, bars, grocery, casinos, airport, trails and snowmobile rentals out of Strongs. We had an amazing stay. The house has its quirks but we settled in nicely. Everyone had their own room (4 couples) with beds to spare. The kitchen was perfect for family meals and dining, playing games and spending quality time. Lake Superior is literally at the end of the driveway with more accommodations if needed. We had fires in the fireplace most nights, Kevin provided plenty of firewood, since it did get into the single digits and negative temps. The beds were comfy and linens were of good quality. We enjoyed reading other guests comments in the welcome book too. This trip was an overall success and we are grateful to have had such inviting quarters to come home to every night of our 7 day stay. Highly Recommend!

It was so comfy when walking in and a much needed 'home away from home' vibe. A cozy feel and Alan was so flexible to our situation. We headed up to Sault Saint to escape the ice storm blackout and didn't know how long we'd have to stay. Alan was a delight and extremely helpful. I would recommend! It was 5 - 7 minutes from all the stores in town as well, so not super out of the way either.
